…Two Days Later…

Valerie's POV:

I have been avoiding being with Harry in the same place, so far. If he would be having lunch, I would tell the maids to send mine upstairs. He tried knocking on my door, but I never replied. In fact when he did, I would blast a song through my I-Pod, just to shut his voice out. He has been hanging with Josh and his chéri, Georgia, all the time; which didn’t seem to give me a time with him regardless if I wanted it or not.
As for today, I had plans. I knew that Harry was inviting Georgia over, so I decided to call Charlie and invite him too. I don’t know if this seems childish, but I do know that it is making me feel better than the pain that strikes me whenever I hear Harry talking to Georgia from his room. I would unlock the door quietly, and peek my ear to listen to his conversations with the little minx.
I took extra time in choosing my attire for today, making sure that I pick out the best of clothing choices http://www.polyvore.com/chained_to_two/set?id=141853166&lid=4050520. I wanted to show Harry that I am able to live, with or without him. I would be lying if I didn’t say that I do miss being around him, but that doesn’t give me the satisfaction I currently need. What I need, is to give him a taste of his own pain that he and Georgia caused me. Whether he meant it or not, I don’t care at the moment.
I deserve this, and not he or anyone else could forbid me of opening up to my options. I glide down the stairs, clicking my heels as I walk to the living room. My ears capture a laugh drenched with trash, knowing that the heart assassin is already here. I peak a look, and my heart pounds like a tribal drum. She is stroking his brown curls with her fingers, as he is distracted on playing a game on his phone.
She notices me, and gives me a devilish smile. “Well, looks like the princess decided to honour us with her appearance.” I raise one eyebrow at her claim, as Harry turns and looks at me. His eyes scan my appearance in need, but he snaps his head back to his phone. “Its nice to see you two getting along. You could join us if you want.” I nod at Georgia, as she replies: “Oh, we are more than getting along. Harry promised me that he would take me out to the pool so we could have a little swim, later on.”
I give her the best and fakest smile in store, showing my teeth like a vampire’s fangs. “How wonderful. Actually I can’t because I am occupied with other plans.” It was like my luck was working with me, because the doorbell rang and Charlie was escorted with a maid towards me.
He lands a kiss on my cheek, as I smile at him. I felt nothing from the contact, it was like my skin turned into aluminium. “How are you doing, pretty lady?” I swat Charlie's arm, as I extend a very girly laugh. Harry’s head snaps like a nutcracker, looking at me in huge surprise and… sadness? He huffs a growl as he jumps up from the couch, striding his long legs towards where Charlie and I are standing. “(He darts his slender finger dangerously at Charlie, yet his eyes are glued to mine) What is he doing here?”
I give him a yellow smile, lacing my fingers with Charlie’s palm. “He is doing here, what she is exactly doing here, cousin. (I point at Georgia, yet my eyes never left Harry’s) Have fun, with her. (I turn to look at Charlie, who has a huge grin on his face from our hand hold) Charlie and I will be in the garden, if you need us.” Without further notice, Harry grabs Charlie’s navy blazer, preparing for what I didn’t expect.

I know, it is shocking how Valerie ended up with Charle, but trust me there is yet an untold reason and purpose for keeping Charlie in the story :D As for today's glossary:
