Valerie's POV:

The evening couldn’t be more splendid than it already is. Everyone is enjoying their time, and Harry got close to Josh pretty fast. As everyone was enjoying a piece of cake, I wondered where Harry has gone. I walk towards my father and aunt, asking them: “Have you seen Harry?” They both looked at each other and shook their heads cluelessly. I sighed, thinking where could he go.
Maybe he’s just mingling with the invites? Better yet, he might be upstairs in his room, which is the perfect time to give Harry his gift that I planned on giving him in the right time. I hold the hem of my dress, gliding up the stairs towards my room, to grab the gift. I didn’t buy it, I had it already but I never took it out of its box. It’s a new phone which I got before my travel, but I never got time to install it and charge it. I suppose Harry would make use of it more than I would; I could buy another phone later on.
Harry is in a massive need of this phone, more than I do. Since he’s smart and has a massive ability to adapt, teaching him how to use the I-Phone wouldn’t be difficult at all. I scribble down my number, my aunt’s and my father’s number on a piece of paper; grabbing the phone box and taking both items to Harry’s room. As I stand with a huge smile on my face, I latch my hand on the knob and twist it opened. Pain creates a hand of itself, as it enters through my breathing pipes and punches my heart.
My mouth feels like it just touched a poison ivy leaf, turning all numb and stiff. My eyes are begging me to stick pins in them, instead of witnessing the scene playing live in front of me. Georgia is hung over Harry’s body, lying on top of him and slicing his buttons off with her filthy fingers. Her lips are pasted over Harry’s own pair, making my self confidence shatter like a castle made out of fragile glass.
I cannot breathe, I cannot think and I certainly cannot come to a sense that this is real; it is actually happening. Pain delivers another punch through the center of my heart, causing me to literally whimper. My tiny voice captured both their hearing senses, making them stop.“Oh, I didn’t know we would be interrupted. (She pecks him quickly, as she gets off) Call me anytime, Harry. I’d love to get together with you, very soon.”
She walks passed me, as he disgusting shoulder touches mine in a slight movement.“Excuse me, Val.” I think my bones are turned into unbendable rocks right now, seeming that I didn’t even flinch or move an inch. Harry stands up from his bed, and walks towards me with a smile. “I think Georgia likes me. Thank you for teaching me how to kiss, imagine if I didn’t?” (He chuckles at the thought) I would be embarrassed.”
“(My voice seemed to have disappeared, as I handed him the box and paper) Here’s your gift.” Before he could thank me, I rushed to my room and slammed my door with such force that the walls rumbled from contact. Harry likes Georgia? Well then, who wouldn’t prefer an easy prey in these days. Shame on me for having this stupid feelings in the first place… It was all a huge mistake.
