Valerie's POV:

Harry and I enjoyed the sun and the water, at the pool in the backyard. I made sure to keep an eye on him under my shades, as he swam in loops and splashed me with little droplets; making me groan in a joking matter. Afterwards, we had our lunch together, since my father was busy in his laboratory, and couldn’t make it back home. As for the time being, Harry’s tongue is captured between his teeth, while he concentrates on drawing something on his sketch pad.
Him and I are in the living room, making ourselves busy. Personally, I was chatting with my friends through instant text messages, apologising for being so busy for the past three months. I haven’t managed to tell them anything of what happened, but I did tell them that a distant cousin of mine is visiting which is why I was occupied lately.
“(He raises the paper to show me, as his anxiousness points out in his words) Valerie likes what Harry drew?” I look at it, admiring how much his sketching has improved. I am not complimenting him when I say this, but he truly is able to draw life figures of plants, animals and people right now. he doesn’t even use pencils and crayons anymore, he prefers working with charcoal and pastels instead.
I remember him begging me daily after each lesson with aunt Regina, to open Youtube links about painting and drawing. He seems to have accomplished his talent on a higher level, as I clearly see a classical house with a shaded moonlight covering the roof. “Wonderful, Harry. I extremely like it!” He chuckles and shyes his face away, at my honest compliment. “Now, could you try drawing me?” He nods happily as he crumples up from the floor and sits beside me on the couch.
As Harry begins to look at my facial features to draw them, my father’s voice is heard. “I’m back! Where is everyone at?” I call back for him: “In the living room, dad!” He walks tiredly towards me, still wearing his white lab coat, with a briefcase in hold. He then goes to Harry, and ruffles his curls making Harry smile up at him. “How are you Harry?” He asks, as he sits down between us. “(He smiles warmly at my father) Harry is fine. How is uncle Thomas?” My dad laughs at Harry’s reference to him, as he replies with an: “Fine, my son.” My father whispers in my ear, clearly not wanting Harry to listen: “Charlie and his father are coming to visit us this evening, darling. (My face angers as I groan) Now, now. There is no need for you to be upset, its just a dinner.”
Who is Charlie, you may wonder? Let’s just say that he is one of the least guys that I am fond of. He never stops flirting with me, at any chance he gets. Adding to that, he has tried to convince me many times to marry him. I never budged to agree, but thinking of it now; there is something that scares me a lot. Charlie and his father are biologists, that aim at investigating rare samples from both the human and animal kingdom.
Their work is provocative and weird, since they believe in weird phenomenas. What happens when they meet Harry? Will they suspect that he isn’t my cousin, because I am sure they know that my aunt was never married. This is so sticky, and I don’t know what to do, but they shall not see Harry no matter what happens.

Hello guys! :D Alright I am just going to focus on a little highlights to the upcoming chapters for tomorrow. I know you all are excited to know who Charlie is and you want to know more about him, but trust me if you weren't able to understand his character so far, by tomorrow you will have a full image an a clear explanation. I just wanted to introduce the antagonist of this story, in this chapter. Consider it as a cliffhanger, for now :D Are you all happy that Harry is talking now?
