I whistle along to Avicii's Hey Brother as I fill out the last form of the day. Today I have felt positive, the most positive I have felt in a long time. It also helps that we are closing early today as it's a quiet day for once. Harry looks over to me and hands me his finished form. He doesn't look well, I found him head down in the toilet first thing this morning. I think last night wasn't a great idea for Harry, especially as he's been here since first thing this morning.

"You still alright to drop me off at that pub?" Harry asks as he sits down next to me. I look at him and he sighs, "I've got to get my car.." He adds and I nod as sign the form.

"There's a car that has just literally booked in." Bella says as she walks in and doesn't look too happy. "Sorry but David has asked me to make sure someone is here." She adds and Harry begins to complain that he wants to go home.

"I'll stay." I answer and they both look at me. "I'll quickly drop you off and I'll come straight back. What time have they booked in?" I ask as I look back to Bella.

"Half three, so you've got half an hour." Bella says and I nod and put the file down.

"Come on then." I say as I grab my keys from my pocket and I walk out towards my car. Harry quickly shouts bye to Bella and grabs his stuff. As I open the car door, I watch him walk towards me, I can't help but smile as he does looks so rough.

"Think I need a green tea when I get home." Harry says as he climbs in next to me. I laugh as I start the car and I quickly pull away. "So what is going on with the whole Emily thing?" Harry asks. I smirk as I glance at him before looking back at the road,

"I'm just waiting until my next opportunity, I've figured if I try and make Holly see that I just want her as a friend, she will be up for group meetings like last night. Then I can see Emily-" I stop as Harry interrupts me.

"Louis, don't you think you're being a bit too excessive on this? She's just a girl that you've recently met, you have no idea what she's like. I think you should just step back a little as there's not much effort on her behalf. I really don't think this is a good idea. Holly, who I actually feel quite sorry for, is clearly into you. I don't think you're being fair." Harry says and looks away. It's very rare for me to become speechless and now is one of those rare moments.
"I'm sorry, but I just think all this time and effort you're putting into someone is sort of pointless. And you're going to end up hurting an innocent girl and possibly yourself." Harry adds and I can't stand to hear anymore.

"I can't help how I feel Harry, how many times do I seriously have to go over this? I will talk to Holly and I'll sort this out. Just leave this to me." I snap and Harry doesn't say anything. I know he's trying to help but he doesn't understand how much I like this girl. "I'm not going to get hurt either." I mumble but he looks away from me.

I don't get what the big deal is? I'm not going to propose to her or ask her to move in with me or any other ridiculous suggestions. I just want to see her more and spend time with her, like you do when you meet someone new. It's starting to drive me crazy that no one else understands this.

"Just think about Holly, yes she may be quite weird and scary with how full on she is, but you're the same. You practically won't stop about Emily yet you don't even know her. I get being attracted to someone, I really do. But there is a line and I'm worried your about to cross it." He glances at me and I can see him from the corner if my eyes. My hands grip tighter on to the steering wheel.

"I'm not the same as Holly, I've never gave her any idea that I am interested-"

"You invited her out for a drink Louis!" Harry snaps frustratedly , he looks away and slowly shakes his head.

"You know why I asked her out, I didn't once say it as a date or even interpreted it as a date. I clearly stated it was a group thing." I snap back and Harry sighs and I begin to get more and more wound up.

"Has Emily even gave you a slight hint that she's interested in you? Because as far as I'm aware, she left you last night, she didn't even look bothered. So maybe you're, like Holly, wasting your time." Harry adds and I frown angrily.

"I told you why she left, she was annoyed I didn't kiss her." I answer harshly and Harry sarcastically laughs.

"I'm sorry Louis and I know you don't want to hear this, but until that girl actually shows any interest, I say you're wasting your time. But do the right thing and make sure you tell Holly where she stands, she should not be dragged into this fucked up situation." Harry snaps and I speed up as I hate being in this car, I'm trapped with hearing this bullshit.

"This isn't a fucked up situation and Infact, it has nothing to do with you. If you can't understand, then don't bother trying to help. I don't need anyone putting a down pour on something I actually want." I answer and Harry doesn't say a word. "You'd never understand" I mumble and Harry continues to stay quiet. The tension has now become awkward and we don't dare to say a word to each other as we head to the pub. To be honest there is nothing else I can say to Harry, until he can understand then there's no point. I look to him as I pull up outside the pub.

"Cheers, see you Thursday." He says quietly as he gets out of the car. I sigh as I watch him walk towards his car, I debate whether or not I should talk to him, but I remember I've got a car booked in and I don't have much time. So I pull away and head back to work.

Once I've parked up and locked my car, I storm into the garage and I start to sort through the files we left. Bella walks in and I don't bother looking at her.

"I'll stay on if you like, give you some company?" She asks as she climbs on the side and sits down. I look up at her.

"No, go home." I say as I glance at her and I hand her the paper work. "Can you file that on your way out." I add as I begin to grab my tools.

"Are you alright?" Bella asks and I look at her and sigh.

"I'm fine Bella, just go home." I say harshly and I turn away from her. I hear her jump down as her shoes hit the floor. Fuck, I need to stop acting like a prick. "Bella!" I call as I turn around and she stops at the door, she looks at me. "I'm sorry.." I sigh and she frowns.

"It's okay Louis.." She says and she looks away from me avoiding the awkward tension I have created.

"It's not okay and I shouldn't have spoke to you like that. You can stay if you like.." I say and she looks at me and softly smiles. "I'd like the company." I add and she starts to walk towards me.

"Do you want to talk?" Bella asks as she does the same as last time, jumping up on the side and making herself comfortable. I look at her and shove my hands in my overall pockets, I walk to where she's sat and I lean backwards looking up at her.

"Harry and I had a sort of bicker slash disagreement. I ended up snapping at him.." I sigh as I look away from her.

"Because of this girl?" Bella asks and I frown as I look at her. "Harry sort of told me about how Holly was all over you and that you're kind of stuck in an awkward situation." She adds and I nod.

"I don't mean to hurt anyone but I seem to be fucking king at doing it." I say harshly and Bella sighs.

"Don't be silly, you just don't always make the right decisions. But that's okay Louis, we're all human and we all screw up, god knows I've had my share of screw ups." She adds with a half hearted laugh.

"Holly doesn't deserve to be hurt, but there's something about her that kind of scares me. It seems as if where ever I am, she's there. Even though she's not. Does that make any sense?" I say and I turn to Bella. She laughs and nods.

"Possibly you and Holly are very similar and you are both stuck in the same boat. She's so into you and you're so into Emily. Holly can't get you and you can't get Emily, yet." Bella's words suddenly hit a nerve as I've never thought of it like that.

"Man I'm such an idiot. I should never have took it out on Harry, maybe he's right." I sigh as I walk towards the car that David had parked in for me before he left.

"I don't think you should argue with Harry, he's a good guy who adores your friendship. But you know Harry won't hold this against you." Bella smiles friendly and I smile as I look at her. Its good I've got a female friend like Bella, who I have known for quite a while. I respect her help and advice especially on situations like these.

"I'll talk to Harry tomorrow, I'll give him a call." I say and I start to get to work. "Do you think I should stop trying so hard with Emily?" I add as I continue to work.

"Maybe just tone it down, she may like the chase and that's fine. But I think she should put effort in too if she feels the same. And also, the last thing you need is getting caught up in any love triangle." Bella answers and I take her words into account, before I can think I'm already telling her about how Emily thought I was going to kiss her and how annoyed she looked when I didn't.

"So part of me does think she feels the same." I add and I wait for Bella to say something.

"Then I'm sure she will get in touch with you." Bella says and I can't help but smile at her reply. I decide to stop talking about me and Emily, so I turn it on to Bella.

"How's things with the boyfriend?" I ask still not looking at her as I want to get this car finished.

"We finished last month, he couldn't commit." Bella says and I quickly poke my head out from the car and look at her

"Seriously?" I ask in shock as Bella is the sort of girl you know you could commit too. She's one of the nicest girls I know and I'm glad I work with her.

"Yeah but it doesn't matter. We were both mentally and emotionally in different places." Bella answers and I start to regret asking her.

"I'm sorry that he was a jerk and didn't realise what he had." I say and I go back underneath the car.

"Thanks Louis." Bella says and I hear her jump down. I pop my head back out again. "I'll go and file these for you." She says as she holds the files up and smiles.

"Thanks Bell." I look at her and my eyes widen as that's the first time I've ever shortened her name. She looks just as shocked as I do.

"For a second there I thought I was talking to Harry!" She laughs as she leaves, I shake my head and get back to work.

Our conversation stays in my my head, Prehaps Bella is right and I should tone it down a little. Would Emily bother if I didn't? The only thing that keeps me positive is the text she sent me, she offered to meet for a drink and left her friends, surely that's enough to clarify she wanted me tol. I don't understand how she can deny she feels the same or to just ignore it.
But I'm also puzzled about my number, I'm pretty sure I put it in right as I always double check it. Prehaps I was just too focused on Emily and I didn't pay as much attention.
