Chapter 21: Horrible

Jana's POV
I feel horrible. My back aches. My head hurts. My legs are feeling a little numb. I just feel like shit. I have been debating with myself on whether or not to tell Niall that I don’t feel like being here. But since he was so glad to come out and eat dinner with Harry and Perrie tonight, I decided to just let it go.
I sit beside Niall in the booth, Tori in his lap. ‘’So.. how are you guys doing?’’ Harry asks me as he sits across from me. ‘’Good.’’ I mumble, looking away from him so he won’t notice that I don’t seem to well. I feel Niall’s foot rub against mine under the table. He always does that. Sometimes it makes me horny. Others it makes me happy. Or it makes me smile. But tonight.. it just doesn’t make me feel anything..
“You okay?’’ He whispers in my ear as he leans closer to me. I simply shake my head from left to right. Soon, I am being dragged out of the booth gently by my hand. Tori sits alone on the booth, talking to Perrie as Niall takes me to the bathroom.
He walks me inside, he didn’t mind that it was the women’s, he didn’t care. He just wants me to be okay, I know that already. So why am I wasting my time doing this? He’s just going to say that everything’s okay, even though its not okay.
‘’Jana.. baby.. are you feeling bad?’’ He asks, placing his hands on my waist. ‘’Yes.’’ I sigh out, looking up into his amazing eyes that I love so deeply. ‘’What’s the matter? Does your back hurt?’’ he asks me, worryingly. ‘’Everything hurts, Ni.’’ I whisper as I lean my forehead on his chest.
His hands slide to my lower back where he then pulls me closer and kisses the top of my head before sitting his chin gently on top of my head, the exact spot he does all the time. He leans me up and forces me to look up at him as he nudges my chin up with his finger.
‘’I know you feel bad.. and I know you’re hurting, babe.. But its all going to be over soon. And you can finally be able to relax.’’ He says to me, his eyes steady on mine. ‘’No I won’t! Because we’re going to hear screaming and crying! We’ll never get enough sleep, we-“ He cuts off my panic ramble by shushing me.
‘’Hush… I don’t want to hear any complaining. I want you to enjoy this night.. because we’re going to have to stop going out all the time.. especially since you’re so close to your due date..’’ He tells me. I nod in response, knowing his right about everything most of the time.
‘’But what.. if I can’t.. enjoy myself?’’ I ask, looking away from him just to have him move my chin up again. ‘’Its okay.. I’m sure they won’t be mad, baby. Just.. promise that if something’s wrong, you’ll tell me next time.. okay?’’ He whispers, leaning his forehead to mine.
‘’Okay.’’ I mumble back, not wanting to say anything though. Gently, slowly, easily he leans his lips closer to mine and gives me a soft kiss. A sign of assurance that everything’s okay.
