Chapter 20: Worried
~Couple weeks later~
Jana’s current month: Month #8 at 32 weeks
Niall’s POV
“Jana..’’ I mumble as I open the bathroom door to see my beautiful girl sitting the bathtub, staring at her stomach as she has both hands on it. I don’t think she knows I’m in here, but yet, I slowly and quietly walk over to her.
‘’I can’t wait to meet you.. me and Daddy have waited too long little angel.. Please hurry up.’’ She whispers as she closes her eyes and smiles gently. ‘’Jana?’’ I say, scaring her a little as she opens her eyes quickly and looks up at me. ‘’What?’’ She asks, smiling a little up at me.
‘’I was going to ask if you were feeling better? Does your back still hurt?’’ I ask, hoping she’s okay by now. ‘’Yeah.. I’m better.’’ She nods as she leans and grabs the plug. She pulls it up and the water slowly begins to drain. I don’t know why she likes to take a bath in this bathtub. Usually she goes into our bathroom, but she chose the one in the hallway tonight, I don’t care though, as long as she’s happy.

I lean against the counter as she prepares to get out. Her hands grip the sides of the tub as she strains to stand up, but it was becoming harder and harder every day for her to even move. I quickly reach for her, sliding my arm around her back as my other hand grabs hers and helps her out. ‘’This is.. pitiful.’’ She sighs as she throws one leg over at a time, slowly.
‘’No it isn’t, babe.. just calm down.’’ I whisper in her ear as she gets her other leg out of the water. She stands there with her hands on her hips, I can tell her back was aching because her hands slid to her lower sides where she began to press down on with her fingers.
I grab a towel and wrap it around her, making sure she’s covered since she’s so insecure about all her little things. But I think she’s beautiful no matter what situation we’re in. She leaves the bathroom with out saying anything, so I do the thing I always do. I follow her.
“You okay?’’ I ask as we get to our room. I shut the door and lock it so Tori won’t wind up barging in again like a few days ago. “Yeah.’’ She sighs as she sits on the edge of the bed and dries herself off. ‘’You want me to grab your clothes?’’ I ask as I glance towards the closet. ‘’No.. I can.. do it. Just.. please go.. get Tori dressed.’’ She mumbles.
I know she’s hurting because her words were too separated and not close enough in her sentence. I’m worried she’s hurting so bad, but she won’t tell me so I have no clue what’s going on with her anymore. She’s so secretive about these sorta things. It worries me though..

“Do I look cute, Daddy?’’ Tori asks as she holds her arms up for me, smiling as I pick her up. ‘’Beautiful.’’ I smile as she giggles gently. “Were we goin’?’’ She asks me, curiously. She’s so much like Jana. I love it.
‘’We’re going to eat dinner with Harry and Pezzie.’’ I tell her, referring to the name she calls Perrie. ‘’Oh.. okay!’’ She smiles.
To be honest, I’m glad Harry moved down here. He said he wanted to be close to us, especially since the baby was on the way.And I was perfectly fine with that, just a few more hands to help around here.
