Chapter 19: Packages
Jana's POV
I hurry as fast as I can to the door as I hear a few knocks on it. I open it to see the delivery man standing there, a smile on his face. ‘’Hi.. I have some packages for Niall J. Horan.’’ He says, glancing up at me as he reads off his clipboard. ‘’Yes, that’s my fiancee.. I’ll sign for them.’’ I mumble as he hands me the clipboard.
“You can sign your name.’’ He says and I nod as I sign my name on the line and initial the other part of the form. I hand him the form back and I turn around to call for Niall to come get these boxes since I can’t, obviously.
‘’Niall!’’ I yell toward the kitchen, I know he’s in there because I just left him in there earlier. ‘’Yeah babe?’’ He asks as he walks over to me. He looks over my shoulder as he walks up to me, placing a soft kiss on my cheek.
‘’Get those.. please baby.’’ I mumble sweetly, hoping he’ll do as I say, which I know he will. If I asked him to go jump off the Empire State Building.. he would. ‘’Alright.’’ He mumbles back as I excuse my self from the situation, not wanting to hear his complaining as he has to move all the boxes inside, there’s at least six boxes, and they’re huge.
It took about ten minutes for Niall to get all the stuff in and thank the man as he patiently waited. Finally, though, Niall was back inside, but he wasn’t tending to me.. he was ripping open the boxes, in a quick hurry to see what was inside.
‘’What is all that stuff anyways?’’ I ask from couch, not being about to see him, or what was in the boxes. ‘’Baby stuff.’’ He says, I know he’s smiling, he always smiles when he talks about Tori or our baby. I stand up and get on my knees on the couch, facing the door so I can see what he was doing.
‘’Why did you get all those things?’’ I ask, curiously. ‘’Because.’’ He says, glancing up at me. ‘’I want to be prepared for when my baby gets here..’’ He says lightly as he smirks once opening a smaller box, possibly the smallest one.
‘’You’re gonna love this one.’’ He mumbles as he stands up with the box in his hands and walks over to me. He sits the box on the back of the couch and I peek inside. I roll my eyes, laughing lightly as he pulls it out. ‘’Seriously?’’ I ask, laughing as he examines it and its features. ‘’Yep. You said you wanted to breastfeed.. so.. here ya go.’’ He winks as he hands it to me.
‘’I don’t need it right now.. too soon.’’ I say as I sit it back in the box. ‘’But seriously, baby.. what is all that stuff?” I ask, knowing he’s going to tell me. He sits the box on the couch beside me as he makes his way around to me. He sits down as I turn back around and sit beside him.
‘’Um, a highchair.. a play pin thing.. um.. lots of stuff, the only thing I haven’t looked at is a crib, I wasn’t sure what color you wanted.’’ He smiles sweetly as he leans in to my lips and places a small, gentle kiss on them.
I smile as he pulls away. The door opens all of a sudden and I look behind us to see Harry standing there, a giant monkey in his arms and Tori standing beside him, smiling happily. ‘’How as your day?’’ I ask laughing as Harry throws the huge stuff animal on the floor, near the boxes.
‘’Wonderful… what about yours?’’ He says, laughing to himself as he notices the boxes every where. I don’t reply as he makes his way to us and sits on the other couch, Tori climbing onto Niall’s lap, greeting him with a kiss and a tight hug with her arms around his neck. They sit there, whispering to each other, sweet and kind things like I missed you and I love you. The usual things.
‘’So…I assume you guys are ready for the baby to come?’’ He asks as he looks over at me, smiling. ‘’Yes. We are.’’ I nod as I stand up and walk over to him. ‘’Want some coffee? Or do you have enough energy?’’ I ask, laughing lightly to myself as he stands up beside me and follows me into the kitchen, laughing too.
‘’Please, I would love some.’’ He mumbles as I hand him a cup and he grabs the pot handle and pours him some, adding cream and sugar and then stirring it all together with a spoon. ‘’How was the zoo?’’ I ask, curious to know how his day went with Tori.
‘’it was nice, Tori and I got a lot of attention, but I had a body guard with us, you know Steven, don’t you?’’ He asks, I try to remember him, and I finally do. ‘’Yes I do.’’ I nod and he nods back, sighing to himself as he smiles gently as I start to laugh at him again, noticing the sticker that says “I went to the zoo!” on his shirt, and its cute.
