Chapter 14: Bored and Late
~One Week Later~
Niall’s POV
I thought I was going to loose my mind as I pace from left to right in a straight line, waiting on Perrie to walk through the huge, ballroom double doors. But of course, she’s late.
Everyone made it safely here last night around 11pm, and they sorted out the hotel arrangements, making sure I put everyone in a different place.. just to prevent any corruption with the fans and paparazzi and such.
“Daddy!’’ Tori whines out as she sits on the floor, the dress she’s wearing is bothering her I could tell. ‘’I know baby, Daddy’s bored too.’’ I admit and join her on the floor. She leans her head against my arm as she huffs, annoyed and bored to death.
The doors fly open and a rather breathless Perrie appears in the door way and runs into the huge, decorated ball room, I’m so glad I choose The Peabody hotel here, its nice and the ballroom is amazing. I wanted Perrie to put all of it together though, I just booked the place for a night and got all the traveling stuff for everyone ready, so yes, I did take part in this.
And even though baby showers are supposed to be just for women, the guys are coming too. They begged me once they found out we were having one. So to hell with it, I decided to let them come, and Jana doesn’t mind anyways.
‘’Pez..you’re late again.’’ I mumble as I stand up and pick up Tori in my arms. ‘’Well I’m sorry, gosh, traffic here is horrible.’’ She laughs as she gives me a peck on my cheek, doing the same with Tori.
‘’You’re lucky I love you guys.’’ She mumbles with a smile as she walks off to make sure everything was still in place. We came early this morning and set all the decorations up. Blue..blue..blue. Its looks like a Smurf threw up every where.
‘’Okay.. so everyone should be here no less than.. 25 minutes, right?’’ She asks as she runs over to me, trying not to fall in her every tall heels. ‘’Yeah.. you do know that.. Zayn’s coming.’’ I mumble as she rests her elbow on my shoulder, still out of breath, as she leans against my side.
‘’Yeah.. I know. He called and we agreed on the present.’’ She mumbles with a sigh. ‘’Are you guys still on.. bad terms?’’ I ask, nosy but curious at the same time. ‘’Well, not really. He calls me every night, well night for me, and he tells me to sleep good and to call him when I wake up, and I usually do.’’ She informs me of her better relationship now.
‘’Is the wedding still on? Whenever that might be..’’ I ask her, still concerned about them. ‘’Oh yeah, for sure. What about you and Mrs. Horan?’’ She giggles as she takes Tori from me, clearly she’s caught back up with her breathing speeds.
‘’Oh.. we’re gonna get hitched soon.. but first we gotta get Baby Horan out first.’’ I laugh lightly as she rolls her eyes and hits me on my shoulder before taking Tori to see the cake. This is going to be fun.. Hell, my life is going to be fun.
