I'm falling hard
Kat's POV
Drowning. Deeper and deeper I sink into the abyss that is my mind. A life full of lies and uselessness. Complications and sadness. Could someone please remind me how to breathe.
I sighed as I sat down my notebook, setting down the pencil. I quickly wipe the tears before someone sees. I play with the grass beside me.
"Ready to go?"
I look up and I see Louis standing above me, smiling. Always so happy. How could one person be so happy and full of energy?
"Not really..."
"Kat," He sighs. "You need to face her sometime. Plus, we're only getting some clothes since you refuse to go back. You can't keep wearing Jules' clothes, no offence but you look ridiculous"
"Thanks Lou, just what a girl wants to hear." I chuckle.
He holds out a hand to help me up which I gladly accept. He pulls me to my feet. He lays his arm across my shoulders. Ah, hello butterflies, how I've missed you. It was then I noticed how much a couple me and Louis seemed like. He didn't like me like that, I was being unfair to myself by letting him unknowingly lead me on. Before I knew it, I shrugged off his arm. I turned and saw the hurt look on his face.
"If the paps see us Simon might have to get you a fake girlfriend." I make up an excuse, remembering one of our conversations. "I don't want that."
"Why would you be jealous?" He teases, as we continue walking towards the car.
Would I be jealous? I cringe at the thought of some blonde all over him.
"Of course I would be jealous." I mumble. I look up and see Louis' shocked face, realizing I said that out loud.
"Really?" He asks shocked.
"What? I didn't say anything."
"No, you said you would be jealous."
"What? No, I didn't. You must be hearing things." I say quickly. "Oh look the car!"
I quickly run to the passenger side and got in. I looked through the tinted window of the car to see Louis smiling while shaking his head as he walked to the drivers side. Nervousness of seeing my mother comes back.
"Can we stop at Starbucks first?" I smile at him.
He turns to me and smiles.
"No."

"Kitty Kat! Talk to me! We'll get you Starbucks on the way home, just talk to me."
I stayed silent as Louis begged me to talk to him. He laid his head in my lap and poked my stomach.
"Please." He begged. "Pretty please?"
I sighed.
"Just shut up already!"
"She talked! She talked!" He sat up and grabbed face. He pecked my forehead and jumped out of the car.
"You'll be the death of me." I whisper to myself.
I follow Louis to the front door. Before we knock the door swings open. Alex throws a duffle bag at Louis before walking out.
"Quick lock the door, lets go before mom gets home. I left her a note and packed our stuff as soon as Jules called.
Me and Louis look at each other before looking at Alex.
"Are you two coming?"
Louis looks at me and shrugs. Oh well..
