More Heartache
My heart sank. Fired? For a month? She lied to me. And Alex. Seeing the shocked look on my face, Louis takes the phone and mumbles a thank you before ending the call.
"Kat, are you okay?" He asks.
"Sh- She lied to us." I said. I feel tears start to trail down my face.
"Oh no. No, no, no. Don't cry." A sob escapes my lips. "And your crying." Louis wraps his arms around me.
I continue to cry. My mother and I always had a close relationship. I can tell you one thing, that relationship is ruined. Louis was rubing my back in circles and whispering soothing words. I pull away and wipe my eyes.
"I'm going to go take a shower." He only nods.
I walk upstairs and my brother peeks out from his room. His face shows confussion. I only ignore him and walk into the bathroom.
Louis' P.O.V
I sat down on the couch with my head in my hands. It hurt me to see her hurting. She always talked about her mom with pride. To know that she was lieing to her and going who knows where for a long amount of time, must hurt. I just wanted to make everything okay.
"What did you do to her?"
I look up and see Alex standing there, arms crossed and a look of anger on his face. He was so protective of Kat, it was quite adorable.
"She was crying." He states glaring at me.
"It wasn't me I swear." I hold up my hands.
"You didn't see her that week you stopped talking to her. She all she did was lay in bed all day. She wouldn't eat or sleep. She was like a zombie. She looks like that again." He said. I cringe, knowing that I had hurt her that much. " I warned you what would happen if you hurt her again."
"But I didn't-" My sentence is cut of when I feel a shock of pain. I feel I warmness roll down my lips. I lift my arm up and wipe my nose and see it's bleeding. "You punched me in the nose!"
I look up and see he's staring at his hand. He has a look of pain on his face.
"Ow!" He exclaims. "I didn't know punching somebody hurt!"
"Hey guys we're back!" Jules walks in with the rest of the lads behind her. She stops when she sees the scene in front of her. "What's going on?"
"He punched me!" I exclaim, the boys laugh.
"He made Kat cry!" The boys stop laughing and Jules looks at me with a look of rage.
"You did what?!"
"I didn't-" I'm cut of for a second time that day when she slaps me.
"What the *Insert naughty word here*?! You stupid son of a *Beep*! You *Blooping* idiot!" She exclaims. I didn't know she was such a potty mouth...
"Whats going on here?"
We all turn our heads and see Kat, her hair wet from the shower making her look even more gorgeous than she already was. I can't believe I almost kissed her. Seeing my face, Her look turns into a look of worry.
"Oh my gosh, Louis. Are you okay?" She rushes over to me and sits down beside me. "What happened?"
"Wait so he didn't make you cry?" Alex asks.
"No. We need to have a talk with mom later though." She says. "C'mon Louis let's get you cleaned up." She grabs my wrist and leads me upstairs to the bathroom.
