Healing The Scars

Lets go!

Harrys P.O.V.

I was starting to get panicked. Hannah wasn't answering mine or Emilys calls. Emily had stayed here overnight. It was late now though. We were meant to hang out today but it was dark by now.

"Relax Harry! This isn't unlike Hannah, she does this alot" Emily told me. "Why?" I replied confused. She bit her lip. We were having something to eat in the kitchen with all the others. Everyone was now watching her curiously. "Hannah's going through a pretty rough time.. She has been for a while now.." she said quietly looking down at her plate. "Sometimes she just likes to be by herself, ya know, get some space" she added.

I nodded, feeling even more worried than I had before. What was happening with her? Was she ok? I felt myself getting more and more worked up until my phone rang.

"Hello?" I answered. "Hey Harry" Hannahs voice made me sigh in relief. She sounded strange though. "Are you okay?" I asked, feeling everyones eyes on me. "Of course" she replied but she didn't sound so sure. "Lets do something fun!" she said suddenly which made me grin. "Like?" i questioned. "There's a carnival near my place.." she trailed off her voice sounding hopeful. I smiled widely. "Sounds great! I'll pick you up soon" I told her. She gave me directions to her house and I let the others know where I was going.

Hannahs P.O.V.

After I had rang Harry I texted Em a quick 'sorry I missed ur calls, what's up?' she replied not long after with a 'Harry was worried :( He really likes u! ;) Enjoy ur date :D x '

I rolled my eyes and decided not to respond. I checked the mirror again. I had my hair straightened and left down in the hope of cover my purple bruising, which seemed so much more evident. I had make up over it but it didn't help much. Hopefully, he wouldn't notice because of my hair.

Dad was out. Drinking, as per usual. He wouldn't be back until the early hours of the morning so there was no need for me to worry about him. I glanced through the window and saw that Harry had just pulled up. I took a deep breath, grabbed my bag and made my way outside, locking the door behind me.

When I got into Harrys car, he smiled showing his dimples. I felt my heart flutter. What the hell? I couldn't understand why Harry made me feel like this. I smiled back I made myself comfortable. The car smelled good. It smelled like Harry. "Ypur car smells good" I blurted out without thinking. Harry raised his eyebrows before laughing. "Your so strange" he chuckled.

"I would've came to the door you know" he told me as he began driving. "Or were you embarrassed to be seen with me in front of your family?" he joked. I tensed up. I knew he had been kidding but I suddenly felt a lump in my throat. "Hey, I was messing" he said, sounding suddenly serious, obviously noticing my face. He removed his hand from the wheel and squeezed my knee. "Im sorry, I didn't mean to upset you" he told me gently. "Hands on the wheel Styles" I said teasingly,trying to convince him I was fine. He grinned before removing his hand and focusing on the road again.

He had got me thinking though. If my brother hadn't of died and mom hadn't of left, what would they have thought of Harry? Would they approve? I think they would have. He seemed polite and generous. He didn't really seem like the flirt everyone talked about.

"Right, we're here!" Harry announced, pulling me out of my daydream. I smiled widely. "What we waiting for? Lets go!"
