Healing The Scars

The familiar sting

Hannahs P.O.V.

I opened my eyes and tried to sit up. A sharp pain to my head made me lie back down. What had happened? I tried to sit up again, this time much slower and much more carefully.

It took a while but I eventually managed to get onto my feet. I walked to the bathroom to look in the mirror. There was large purple bruises all down the left side of my face. They went down onto my kneck aswell. I pulled my top off to reveal the large bruisings across my stomach and sides.

I felt tears well in my eyes as I made my way upstairs. I knew he wouldn't be hope but I locked my bedroom door behind me anyways. Ripping off my bracelets I made my way to the drawer where I kept my knife.

I dragged it across my wrist creating large cut. Scarlet blood instantly began to fall to the floor and I felt a huge release. I did it a few more times before deciding it was enough.

I felt my phone vibrate in my pocket. I pulled it out to see I had missed calls from Emily and Harry. I decided to get a shower to clean my self up a bit. The farmiloar sting of the hot water hitting my new wounds caused me to gasp.

This is why I didn't want to drag Harry into my life. I was ashamed of it. It was full of pain and misery. He didn't deserve this.
