Darling I'm No Angel

Perfect Timing

"What are you doing up there?" I yell frantically, being that my first conclusive thought was that he was about to jump.

"I could tell you wanted some space, but this was all the distance I could put between us." Harry said. His hair blew around his face it was a mixture of curly and straight.

"Y. . .You could've come back in the morning." I stammered. I regretted the choice of not finding a pair of pants to put on. I was on the verge of getting frostbite on my shins. Seeing Harry up here didn't surprise me. It was like this moment was perfectly planned. Like I subconsciously knew where he was and I followed my intuition.

"I thought about leaving, but I figured I'd turn around in less then a minute." Listening to him to speak his voice sounded like it had gotten deeper in less than five months. If that was possible. Harry tried his best to stop his hair from getting into his face till he tucked it behind his ears. "So tell to me what you're doing up here?" He asked.

"I took to many wrong turns." I said feeling flustered and too cold to understand my own thoughts. I missed the comfort of my hospital room. After all it did have a working heater in there.

"You always did have a habit of wondering off to strange places." A weak smile tugged at the corners of his mouth. His expression I couldn't tell if he was happy or sad. "We should go back inside." I suggested to him. It grew quiet between us except for the small smile that formed suddenly on his face. Whatever I said was clearly amusing him.

"What?" I exhaled hugging myself trying to warm me up, it didn't help whatsoever.

"The thing is once that door close." He paused. Harry walked up to the door and pulled on the handle firmly. "It locks soon as you close it." He added. I stared at Harry who was laughing almost uncontrollably.

"This isn't funny Harry!" I said biting down on my bottom lip trying to conceal my own laughter. "It's sounds nice." He said looking down at me. Harry took both ends of my jacket to zip it all the way up to my neck. Good to know that he was aware that freezing to death wasn't on my list of plans for tonight."What does?" I asked him feeling my mouth freeze shut.

"For a while I had almost forgot the sound of you laughing."He then trailed down to my wrist with the pads of his fingers bringing my hands up to his lips. Blowing into my hands to try and keep them warm. Despite his light touch, it sent a sharp sensation through me. My heart was pounding against my chest frantically while I thought about all the thousands of reason why I couldn't be up here. Awkwardly trying not to stare into his dark green eyes I couldn't help the memory of when we first met float into my mind so clearly. It was like I was going back into a dream, one that was an honest memory. Taking me back to the night I met them.

>>>>FLASHBACK<<<<

Victoria's POV

"Any minute now the show will be starting!" Chloe squealed from her seat. Her screaming was no different than the hundreds of other fans who nearly passed out from the anticipation of seeing one direction go on stage. I sat in a row of three which included Chloe, grandma Arden, me, and my book Great Art, Better Artist. I'm positive that we looked like a strange bunch. I felt so out of place being with the two of them and I could hear the not so silent insults from the girls sitting behind me, about me reading at a concert. It wasn't so much that I was opposed to being here. I just didn't understand why I was dragged out of my house to show up.

"Victoria what time is it?" Chloe asked. She was covered from waist up in one direction merchandise. They somehow found a way to clash with each other. I on the other wore only a red wristband than had old pictures of them on it and truly in my opinion a waist of seven dollars.

"8:45." I told her sliding my phone back into my pocket on my dress. I kept my hand placed there because I was so worried about it falling out.

"They should've been on by now?" Grandma said looking at the tickets. This was my grandmother's idea of fun. My parents had to go out of town for a few days to where I don't know. Ever since they received some letter in the mail they had been acting on edge lately. I'm not even sure what day they are even coming back. I asked my grandmother and of course probing her of information was a last resort because she was just as secretive as my mother.

"I'm hungry." Chloe whined.

"Well how much of your money do you have left." Grandma asked her.

"I spent the rest on this shirt."Chloe said giving her usual doleful and sad looks. Grandma passed a look over to me, but my head was facing downward at my book.

"Why did you come if you where going to just read?" Chloe asked me matching the tone of the girls behind me. "I want to finish reading this so I will be well introduced on this stuff." I defended.

"You're just looking at pictures." Chloe argued.

"Actually I'm reading about artist like Johan Vermeer." My grandmother joined in with Chloe with the judge mental stares. "The Dutch painter who painted the famous painting Girl with a Pearl Earring." I said waiting for them to counteract than to just look.

"I'm hungry." Chloe said reverting her attention back on our grandmother. "I'll make you a deal." Grandma spoke taking some more cash out of her purse. "I will gladly give you the money only if you and your sister go an get it." She offered. Chloe and I both looked over to our grandmother wanting to protest for separate reasons. But she held up her hand before either one of us could argue.

"She can't go by herself and you need to have a little fun." She said.

"I am having fun, I'm here aren't I? And I really like the singer with the accent." I told her. "They all have accents." Chloe interjected.

"Exactly!" I said.

"I brought my camera."

"Grandma I-" She handed me the money and stopped me. "I brought my camera so these pictures will be there to show you anything you might miss." Grandma said in a calming voice. I took the money from her hands and turned around to leave them.

Flashing light filled my vision as I carefully walked down the steps. It seemed like the whole arena was glowing apart from camera lights, glow sticks, and the lights that wrapped around the stage. Tons of people crowed the exit ways and they could barely hear my mousy little voice asking them if I could get by. These girls here looked at me like I was transparent. Glaring at me like something on me didn't fit in here. I wore a black and white dress that hung above the knee, with buttons that went all the way down the front of my dress, and red converse. My hair was how I've always worn it. Long, brown and wavy parted right down the middle.

After about ten minutes of shuffling through the big crowd I finally made it into the arena's open entryway. Not seeing any concession stands. I got on escalator that took me to another floor. I didn't see anyone on this floor either so I took the next two escalators up till there wasn't anymore levels to access. It was completely one hundred percent empty. Still walking down passing the public restrooms I finally spotted a concession stand. Yet no one was behind it and no one walked the halls.

"Hello...?" I said cautiously. I began to hear live music playing and I assumed everyone was just in their seats watching the show finally start. Running down the hall I was stopped in my tracks. I thought he was just going to pass me but shockingly he stopped in front of me.

"Have you seen a real big guy with a long beard, shaved head come through here with a woman?" He coughed heavily trying to permit air into his lungs. I shook my head slowly. He laughed as he chocked from coughing to much. Leaning over the glass case he pushed the door aside taking a water bottle from the glass casing. Drinking it down till he crushes the plastic bottle in his hand. I'm surprised this interaction lasted as long as it did. He looked at me from head to toe before smiling and perfectly aiming the empty water bottle in the trash can beside me.

Calling out for him down the hall was someone coming to wrangle him away. "Niall did you find him?" Harry said wrapping one arm around Niall.

"No but she just might work instead." Niall said not taking his eyes off of me and neither did Harry.
