Unexpected Sleepover and House What-ing?
***Avery's POV***
I woke up in the middle of the night due to someone knocking on my balcony door. 2 am, like really?! I sat up and glanced to my balcony door; I saw some guy's silhouette. I walked towards the door and was about to touch the doorknob, but I thought of something. Maybe this guy's a serial killer. Maybe he's one of the bullies in school. Maybe -. My thoughts were interrupted by the person on the other side of the door.
"Ugh. Come on, open up!" the guy said. His voice was slightly familiar, I kept on racking my brain for where I heard the voice before. "F***, it's cold." Hahaha, should've known -- Niall. I opened the door, and smiled at him. I was about to talk, but then I saw the boquet of flowers in his right hand. I pointed at it, and raised my left brow.
"Oh, right. For you," he said while handing me the flowers.
"Thanks, but why?" I said while sniffing at the scented flowers.
"Nothing, I just wanted to. I got them from your mum's garden." My eyes widened, and was about to protest. "I'm just kidding. I got them from mum's garden."
"Come in," I said while gesturing him inside. "What are you doing here in 2 in the morning? And most of all, how did you get on to my balcony?"
"I'm just here to have a sleepover," he said. Well, that explains why he was in his favorite pj's and has a bag of sweets. But it still doesn't explain how he ended up on my balcony. "And I went house hopping," he said nonchalantly.
"You went house what-ing?!" I said confused.
"Shhhh. Your mum's sleeping, you know."
"It's not like she'll care. Heck, nobody doesn't even care for me, anymore!" I said while throwing my hands up and sitting on the edge of my bed.
"Hey, I'm here and I care!" he said while pointing at himself with both hands.
"Yeah, now," I said while gesturing to the floor as if something was there. I crossed my arms,"By tomorrow, you'll be gone," I sighed while crossing my arms trying to hold back my tears. He sat beside me and put an arm around me; he pulled me closer to him.
"Look, let's not think about that, now," he said. "'Cause now it's sleep over time!" he said while getting up.
Niall and I had a Disney marathon -- I love Disney movies, by the way. We were cuddling the whole marathon. We finished all the sweets, and played Monopoly. Me and Niall obviously got tired and decided to go to sleep. Since my bed's the single kind, Niall decided to sleep on the floor next to my bed.
"Hey Niall?"
"Yeah?" he said with his eyes closed.
"What time are leaving?"
He sighed, and said,"Some time in the morning."
"I'll miss you, you know that?" I asked. I was expecting for him to answer, but instead of a voice replying, it was snore. I turned to look at him on the floor. "I love you," I said. I kissed two of my fingers and placed them on his cheek. Then, I turned back and fell asleep.
