Jynx Harrison was born with a mutation, turning her eyes purple. This had granted her and her family a small amount of fame in her neighborhood. At the young age of five, she met 4 girls who soon became her best friends. After her mother and girlfriend had died, and her father was deemed unfit to care for her and her siblings she began to change. Tattoos, piercings and scars marred her body, she became cold and distant and was soon holding on to cigarettes and liquor like a life support. During a summer break, while the girls were in high school, they decided to take a chance and enter a show for up and coming musicians, Music Boot Camp. They soon find themselves with a record deal and the life that they always wanted with each other. One year after winning on the show, Jynx is offered a solo record deal. With support from her friends, she takes it. Now five years later, Jynx is almost 19 and the band's managers decide that it would benefit both the world renowned girl group "Misfits" and the widely known boy band "One Direction" if they were to tour together. After a few weeks of living together, they get used to each other -- almost. But on the eve of her girlfriend's death, Jynx finds herself standing on the edge of a balcony ready to jump.
