Carter Mason hasn't had the easiest life. Her mom and brother are dead, and her dad is an abusive drunk who doesn't care about anyone but himself. She has a YouTube channel where she can escape reality and be herself. It has thousands of subscribers who watch her videos, but to her the numbers didn't matter. It's the fact that she could make someone smile after a bad day, even if she couldn't really smile herself.
