Give me love like this

I'm running late. I was on time this morning when I woke up, ate some breakfast, folded some of my clothes, messed around on twitter and my phone, even left at noon to go pick Codi up, but of course, ever since the incident with Codi outside of the market people know where she lives, the paps are all over the street. As soon as I pull the car out of the drive they're all over it and I can't go any faster without running them over. Codi's going to be pissed, I can't text her, they'll take a picture of it and then everyone will say I'm a terrible driver who has no sense of perspective or some shit like that.

I finally make it to the school and see that Codi is waiting outside absentmindedly tapping her
foot in anticipation with her arms crossed. Yay. I stop and she climbs in quickly buckling her seatbelt.

“What took so long Liam? I've been waiting outside of school for a half an hour. I haven't eaten yet, I'm starving.” I know she's upset, she hates being late and she hasen't been sleeping very well lately.

“I'm sorry babe, the paps were on the street again, they surrounded my car, if I went any faster I would have hit them.” I don't look at her while I merge onto traffic.

“Would the world really miss them?' I silently laugh to myself, I wouldn't miss them but it's not funny to talk about stuff like that.

We've both been so stressed out since the incident at the grocery store.

“That's really not that funny Codi, they're just doing their jobs.”

“Their jobs? Their jobs Liam? Their job got me seven stitches in my head! Do you not remember that?” So it's going to be that kind of an afternoon I guess.

“It was an accident. We should have known better then to go out in that crowd.” I keep beating myself up about what happened to Codi, we were suppose to go on a date and just be a couple for once.

“I know it was an accident, but I don't want to deal with this all the time!” She puts her hands by her head, I've noticed she's been getting a lot more headaches since the incident.

Traffic wasn't as bad as I thought and we were only 10 minutes late to her appointment. I offered to walk to the KFC that was just a few blocks down to get her some food and she quickly agreed. I started walking down the street and out of nowhere a large group of girls came rushing towards me asking for pictures, asking me to follow them on twitter, asking for my autograph, telling me their life stories and finally I just told them I had to get back to Codi at the doctors office and quickly made my escape.

As soon as I walk in the waiting room I see her eyes drop in disappointment, what happened?

“Um, Liam?” I ask.

“Yeah babe?” I take a seat next to her.

“Where's my food?”

“Oh shit, I forgot, I should have just drove, I got noticed by a bunch of fans, had to take pictures and follow people on twitter, I got distracted and forgot. I'm sorry.” I seriously forgot, I don't even know how I forgot, but like I sad we haven't been getting a lot of sleep.

“No biggie, just haven't eaten in about 8 hours, getting stitches out and my boyfriend forgets about the one thing he told me he was going to do for me because people got overwhelmed with who he is.” She has an extreme sarcastic tone.

“No need to be rude, I forgot, it was an honest mistake.”

“Ookkk, well maybe it will be an honest mistake when I forget to make food for you one day, or decide to take the car for the day so you have nothing.” Wow she's a little over the top right now.

“Jeez Codi. Calm down.” I'm just going to ignore this situation and hopefully her mood will change.

I've been thinking about asking Codi to move in with me in London, hopefully she'll agree. I bit the bullet.

“You know if you moved to London I could protect you, you'd get used to it, the paps in London are not as bad as they are here.” I catch her off guard.

“What?” So this totally came out of left field, I know.

“Move to London with me when the tour gets over with in October.” It's not that hard, move, with me.

“I can't move Liam, I'm under contract with my school. I have to stay until May.” I forgot about her job, I always forgot she has to stay.

“But what about after?” I ask hopefully.

“Maybe, I don't know, it's not the easiest move, to another country, I'd have to get a visa and go through the government. Its not like I can wake up and say that I'm moving to a new country. And all my family and friends live here” But I'll be in London.

“Not all of them, your grandparents and aunt and uncle live in Brazil.”

“Well yeah, but London isn't any closer to Rio then LA is. That was a moot point.” Moot point? Who uses that phrase anymore?

“We can figure it out together. At least think about it, you can move in with me.” Please just think about it, I just want to protect you all the time.

“Move in with you? Liam we've only officially been together for four months. And you're going to be gone again in February for a long time, I'll be all alone in a new country.”

“Well its not like its Russia, you don't have to learn a new language, we speak English over there Codi. And we've known each other for over a year!” That was rude, I know I'll be gone but that's just what happens with the job. People in England are not awful people.

“Don't talk to me like that. I didn't say you didn't speak English over there, it's just a big decision, me changing my whole life for you.”

“Am I not worth it?” It's like she she won't even consider moving, she's just shutting the idea off.

“I did-” She starts to speak but gets cut off.

“Codi Jensen? The doctor will see you now.” A nurse informs us.

Great, another discussion to be had later.
