Give me love like this

Codi's POV

It was finally time to see Liam in Paris. Well, I was leaving in a few days but I couldn't wait. I was so upset about the Sophia incident, but after I talked to Nicola, Niall, Harry, and even Zayn all told me the same thing, that Sophia stayed sleeping in the living room all night and that Liam never unlocked his door. Niall really vouched for Liam because he had apparently tried to “take a wee” in the middle of the night and he couldn't get into Liam's bathroom because his room was locked.

My phone started ringing to snap me back to reality. I smile seeing it's Liam.

“Hey lover.” I greet him.

“Hey babe, you ready for Paris?” He asks. I got to chose from his tour dates and I'd never been to Paris, so I was pretty excited.

“Beyond ready. It's been over a month since I've seen you! And I'm ready to cash in that raincheck.” I smile, hoping he remembers what I'm talking about.

“Ah yes, you only have one raincheck to cash in though, but I'll give you more if you want it.” I can hear him chuckle.

“So what should I pack?” I ask, even though I already have everything laid out.

“Whatever you want, it's summer there, but a little cooler then it is LA. So I'd bring a light jacket just in case. What are you up to today?”

“Just packing. I took some boards down in my classroom last night and went through more text books. Jai has a group of surfers coming in this afternoon that he asked me to help with so I'm pretty excited for that. I love spending every day on the water.” I quickly remember Jai asked me to pick up some more wax for the boards.

“Yeah, I'm pretty jealous, but I've got a pretty good job over here seeing the world.”

“Oh, I bet Mr. Popularity over there.” I tease him just a bit.

“Hey, Harry and Niall have more twitter followers them I do.” Trying to defend himself but it's not working.

“Ok, ok, poor Liam. Only 17 million followers. So unpopular. What's the plan for your day?”

“Not a lot, Niall wants to go shopping, I could always use new shoes. Other then that, just hanging at the hotel, waiting for the love of my life to come visit me.” I smile when he says love of his life.

I hear some beeping in my ear and notice my mom is calling me. I ignore it, I'll call her back later.

“Shopping again? Didn't you just go shopping yesterday?” He's worse then a girl sometimes.

“No! That was two days ago, thank you very much!” I hear beeping again, and it's my mom again. Usually she doesn't call twice in a row.

“Hey Liam, my mom is calling me, I'll be right back.”

I click the phone over.

“Mom?”

“Codi?” I hear desperation in her voice.

“Mom? what's wrong?” I hop off my bed and start nervously pacing around my room.

“Codi, you have to come home, its your dad. He-He's had a heart attack.”

My heart drops.

“I'll be there mom, I'll have a taxi take me to the airport right now. Just relax, I'll be there. Love you.”

I click back to Liam after I hung up with my mom.

“Liam? I have to go home, my dad had a heart attack. My mom needs me.” I say rather quickly, hoping he understands me.

“Codi?” Slow down. Its going to be okay, go home, make sure your dad is okay. You can come see me any dates this summer.” Liam tells me as my mind is racing. Is my dad going to be okay? How bad was it? It's bad enough mom wanted me to come home. “Codi? Codi? Are you okay?”

My mind is drifting away.

“Yeah, Liam, I'm so sorry, I have to throw things in a bag and find a flight to go to Minneapolis. I'll call you later okay?” I throw the words out there without even thinking.

“I love you Codi, keep me updated, I hope your dad is okay.”

“I love you too Liam. I'm so sorry.” I want to see Liam so bad, I miss him like crazy.

“Its okay Codi, this is your family. I understand. Pack for home, we'll figure something out.”

I finish throwing things in my bag, I have clothes thrown all around my room that I threw out from my suitcase. It was originally packed for Paris, but I'm sure I don't need any lingerie to see my dad in the hospital. Right when I sit in the taxi to take me to the airport I get a text from Liam with an attachment.

“Your flight information. Your plane leaves in an hour, hope you can make it, let me know if you need a later time. I love you.”

My heart melts, without me even saying anything, he took it upon himself to get me an urgent flight to Minneapolis. I finally relax in the back of the taxi and just cry.

I arrive at the airport, there are paps around but thankfully I'm not well known to them as Liam and I haven't been seen together being as were about 6,000 miles apart.

“Thank you so much baby. I want to see you so bad. I wish I could be with you.”

He texts back right away.

“I know, but you need to be with your family. We have our whole lives to be together. I gotta go on stage soon, call me when you land.”
