Liam's POV

Last night was crazy. We all went out and drank so much, too much. Especially since we have a show tonight. And to make matters worse, everyone came back to my house last night so the party lasted longer. I was pissed at Louis and Eleanor, they invited Sophia back to my house without asking me. I was too drunk to say anything but I knew if Codi found out she'd be beyond upset with me and we were just getting to a good spot together after all of our drama happened.

I finally decided to get out of bed. A bed a slept in alone last night, Sophia tried to come into my room last night saying she was uncomfortable on the couches where everyone else was sleeping but I wouldn't let her in, and I even locked the door so she couldn't come in. I realized I had left my phone charger in the kitchen and opened the door to get it, everyone was still passed out draped all over my floor and couches. I tip toed back into my room and decided I needed a shower to hopefully make myself feel better.

When I get out of the shower I can hear Sophia talking to someone. I'm pissed that she's in my room in the first place but when I get closer I see that she's on my phone. That bitch.

I can hear her talking, to who I have no idea until she speaks up.

“Oh, Codi, this is Sophia. Sorry, Liam had a really late night.” She says as she giggles to herself. Hell no. This is not happening. Why is she answering my phone? Why is she still here?

I knock over a picture frame off my dresser as it catches Sophia off guard.

“Sophia! What are you doing in here? Why do you have my phone?” I yell at her. I'm furious.

“What Liam? I'm not doing anything wrong.” She makes me sick.

“Give me my phone Sophia!” I demand as I walked over to her.

“Liam, it's not that big of a deal. I'm just talking to her.” She laughs as she hands the phone to me.

“Hello? Codi?” I say into the phone but realize that she's hung up. Great. I can't imagine what she's thinking right now.

“Why are you in my room Sophia? Why did you even come here last night?” I'm so angry at her.

“I was invited. So I came.” She responded like it was nothing.

“I didn't invite you. This is my house. You need to leave.” I point to my bedroom door directing her where to go.

“Whatever Liam. Good luck getting Codi back now.” She laughs and yells at me over my shoulder.

“I don't need luck Sophia! I have a room full of people who know what happened last night!” I yell as I follow her out, making sure she leaves.

“Liam! What the hell is going on?” Nicola asks from behind me.

“Nicola! Help me talk to Codi. She called when I was in the shower and Sophia answered and made it seem like we spent the night together. I need your help so believes me. She hung up the phone on me.” I explain.

“You need to quit taking showers when Sophia is around!” She tells me as she gets up to follow me into my room as I get my phone.

I quick dial Codi's number to FaceTime her. She doesn't answer.

I try again, she doesn't answer.

Finally I give up and try Jai. He answers right away.

“Dude, you know what time it is?” He asks, I forgot about the time change, its after 10 here, meaning its like 2 am there. But this is important.

“Is Codi there?” I ask quickly.

“Yeah, give me a minute.” I see him walk down the hallway and into her room. “Codi, Liam is calling you on my phone, I'm going back to bed.” It looks like he just threw it on the bed before I see Codi sitting on her bed, obviously upset.

“What do you want Liam?” She asks as she refuses to look at me.

“Codi?” Nicola asks. Codi's face jerks up.

“Nic?” She asks, her voice trembling.

“Codi, its not what you think. A bunch of us went out last night and got drunk, yes, and yes Sophia stayed here last night but she didn't stay with Liam. He couldn't stop talking about you last night. He wasn't even around Sophia last night, Louis and Eleanor were with Sophia all night and they invited her back to Liam's. I swear on my life she slept in the living room all night, Liam even locked his bedroom door when he got in because she was acting crazy and didn't want to leave. She's just trying to mess with you Codi.” Nicola explains to Codi, thankfully with FaceTime I can see Codi's face change, I'm sure she knows Nicola is telling the truth.

“Are-are you sure?” Codi asks, still a little upset but she doesn't look as hurt as she did before.

“I'm positive, Niall, Zayn, Louis, Eleanor, and Harry are all out in the living room, I promise they'll tell you the same thing as I'm telling you. Liam loves you. Not Sophia. He never did. And I'm sure after today everyone will know she's not to be invited back here.” Nicola continues to explain, thank God for big sisters.

“Liam?” I hear Codi ask as I come in to view behind Nicola.

“Yeah babe?” I ask, I probably look and sound like a timid deer.

“Why the fuck was she in your house?” Yep, still angry.

“I didn't invite her, Louis and Eleanor did, I swear.” I try to defend myself but it still looks bad.

“So you have no say in who comes to your house? Being drunk is just an excuse?”

“No, its not an excuse, I'm sorry.” I cannot believe this is happening.

“Well the next time I get drunk I'll just be sure to have my friends invite my ex-boyfriend over and I just won't say a thing. But I'll make sure you find out about it on social media. I just love being embarrassed on the internet for the whole world to see.” Man she's good with words when she's angry.

“I'm really sorry! But I swear on my career that nothing happened, you have to believe me.” I plead, if I was there I'm sure I'd be on my knees begging.

“I need to get some sleep, I'll talk to you when I wake up before your show. It's after 2 am here.” She yawns.

“Ok, are you alright?” She doesn't look it but I'm hoping she'll be okay soon.

“I'll be fine. Just took me by surprise and I need sleep before I have to get up in four hours for school.” I can see her tuck herself into bed. I'd give anything to do that for her.

“I'll still see you in two weeks in Paris?” I wish I could keep her talking to me and on the phone, but I got sleep, and she hasn't.

“Yes, I'll be there. But I need sleep Liam.” She's already starting to close her eyes.

“I love you.” Please say it back, say anything back to me.

“Love you too, night Liam. Don't take any more showers if Sophia is there. Night Nic.” She says as she hangs up the phone.

Nicola gives my phone back and gives me a look.

“What?” I ask, I already know what shes going to say.

“I love Codi Laim. Don't screw this up. Keep Sophia away. And tell your friends the same.” She walks out of the room and slams the door.

I fall back on my bed and just wait for sound check. I almost just screwed up my life once again.
