Give me love like this

I'm about to piss my pants. I'm so fucking nervous. I know she's coming. Maggie text me, she was meeting her in the lobby of our hotel. Maggie and Michael had come the night before, we all hung out but the guys and I were pretty tired from the tour and the time difference. Jet lag sucks.

The plan was to be on her floor randomly walking around when Codi got up to their floor. We were staying at the top floor, while they were on the 10th. I couldn't believe we pulled this off and she had apparently not noticed a thing. I'm waiting for a slap in the face or a kick in the groin when I see her.

After an hour, I hadn't heard anything from Maggie so I called her.

“Hey Liam.” She answers the phone cheerfully.

“Hey, have you heard from Codi yet? She should be here right?' I ask, hopeful her flight is just delayed or something.

“Um yeah, about that. She knows you're here. She didn't want to see you, and actually she's pretty pissed, she went straight to her room and doesn't want to come out till you guys leave for sound check. I'm so sorry.” She sounds sympathetic.

“Right. The giant crowd outside probably tipped her off then?' I ask.

“Well, that and the fact that apparently at the airport, you're all that's being talked about, well One Direction is. She's pretty pissed. And tired. She flew all night. Maybe tomorrow we can arrange something.” She suggests.

“Yeah, that will work, I gotta go but I'll see you tomorrow.”

I hang up the phone and right when I'm about to throw it against the wall, I hear a knock on my door. I walk to open it and see Zayn on the other side of it.

“Hey, we're getting ready to leave, you ready?' He asks, then really looks at me, “You okay mate?'

“Yeah, I'll be fine. Codi is here, and Maggie said she doesn't want to see me. So you know, I'm just thinking about all of that.” I grumble.

“Its going to be okay Liam. From talking to her with you on Skype and Facetime, she'll come around, and if not its just not meant to be I guess.” He speaks lower in that last sentence.

“Yeah, but even if she does come around, I can't keep us together. I mean, it's just to hard when I'm gone and we'll be gone from each other all the time. How do you do it with Perrie, I mean really do it?'

A smile creeps across his face.

“Its not as hard as it seems, we just spend as much time together as possible when were together, and when were apart we spend as much time as we can supporting each other and loving each other from a far. If she's worth it, you'll figure it out. Now grab your stuff, lets go.” He pats my back. “It's going to be fine.”

The next day

The concert last night was amazing. It's crazy to think of how many people we play in front of, how many people come from near and far just to see us mess around on stage and sing. I'm just so thankful that this is the life I have. In my wildest dreams I would have never thought this is what I would have become.

My phone pings.

“We're going to the pool.”

It's Maggie. I'm assuming we're means her, Codi, and Michael. I quickly grab my stuff and text
Niall, Zayn, Louis, and Harry to see if they want to go to the pool too. I change and tell my security team I'll be heading to the water. I put on a brave face and pretend like nothing is bothering me as I open the door to the sun deck.

Until I see her.

In a red bikini.

Hair pulled in a mess at the top of her head.

Sunglasses on.

Huge smile on her face as she watches Maggie and Michael splash around in the pool.

Then she sees me.

She stops smiling.

My feel heart stop beating.

“Hey mate. Lets not block the door, k?” I hear Niall behind me as he slaps my back. “Earth to Liam?” He looks around and stops when he sees where my face is looking. “That her?”

I simply nod my head. Unable to speak.

“Wow. Well come on, lets go find somewhere to sit.”
