Surviving

I couldn't sleep, no matter how hard I tried. I snuggled into Niall's chest and slammed my eyes shut, but nothing. I was wide awake. I pulled my face out of my chest and looked around at the people Who sat there. Harry, Zayn, Niall and I. I looked at Niall to see if he was awake, but he was sound asleep. Well, just Zayn, Harry, and me then. I stood and was followed by Harry and Zayn. I led them to the plane and we immediately knew what to do. I climbed through turned chairs and past sharp metal. Every piece of clothing I past was tossed in a pile outside of the plane. Then I grabbed any food, rope, blankets, or pillows that I saw. Then a thought came to mind. "Guys, look for bathing suits and money." I ordered. They looked confused and I sighed, "When we get to land, we'll need plane tickets and money for stuff to get home. And if we need to get into the water or something, we got bathing suits." "Toni, Why are you so smart?" Zayn chuckled. * By the time we finished searching the plane, it was already getting light out, so we decided to head back. None of us decided to go through what we had, so I guess that was gonna happen when we got back home. We walked back and Zayn spoke up, "What do we tell the group?" "Well, we need to sleep. We got a long day tomorrow and the next weeks." Is all I said as we neared camp and set all the stuff in a pile. Overall, we had 9 blankets, 9 bathing suits, 5 girls and 5 boys, food that would last for weeks if necessary, and $231. I can tell you now that we'll need money for tickets. I layed my head on Harry's lap and he layed down on the ground.Zayn snuggled up with Effey. Sion enough I fell into a deep sleep that would be the best for awhile. * The next morning, I woke up with all the group in my face. I'm not kidding, everyone was sitting incfront of me, except for Violet. We walked inside, me still having no idea what was going on. Once we reached her unconscious body, I got the signal to crouch down in front of her like they did to me. Then she finally opened her eyes. "HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!" Liam shouted. I raised my eyebrow. "How do you know the date?" Violet asked, looking around. "Zayn has been keeping track since we got here. He memorized our birthdays and he's gonna be a calender when he grows up." Niall joked, patting Zayn on the back. "Thanks guys!" She cheered and hugged us all. After a moment of silence, I said, "Don't mean to rain on your birthday parade, but we need to start getting ready to leave." "Wait, we haven't explored the plane yet." Alexis panicked a little. Ha, that stupid bitch. "Correction." We all walked outside to the fire, also where all the supplies were sitting. They all were wide eyed, and I continued talking, "9 blankets, $231, and 10 bathing suits. All ready to go." Alexis responded, "Hate to burst your bubble, but there are only 8 blankets, $143, and 9 bathing suits." "Wait, what?!" I looked through all the stuff and it was true, we either miscounted or someone stole stuff, "Harry, we counted right, right?" "Yea, where the fuck did the bathing suit, money, and blanket go?" He was seriously confused. "Let's not forget to mention that a shitload of food is gone." Zayn said. Oh my god, really? "Well if we didn't miscount, then someone else on the island stole it. Thing is, I'm not sticking around to find out who it is." I said, picking up some supplies. "Harry, grabbed some food, Violet, grab the rest of the money and food, Paige, grab the bathing suits." Everyone followed my orders and soon enough, we were walking to the rafts. We all set the bathing suits out and choose which is whos. We separated food into each raft and put a blanket on each raft, then I put the money in my pocket. Once all that was settled, we decided who rode with who. Then I noticed something. One of the rafts were gone. We had 5, now there's only 4. "SOMEONE STOLE A FUCKING RAFT!" I hollered and everyone looked around to realize that. "Okay, two rafts will have to carry three people." No shit, Alexis. "Violet and Liam, Harry and Niall, Alexis, Zayn and Louis on one, then Paige and I will share." I ordered. We all nodded and started moving the rafts toward water. I tied us all together with rope, and everyone got comfy as I led us out just into the sea. Before I left, I went to Mel's body. But it wasn't there. I looked around. Nothing at all. Did I imagine it? I jumped up on Effey's, Paige's and my raft. Our raft was in front, followed by Zayn, Alexis and Louis, then Harry and Niall, then Violet and Liam. Here begins the voyage to home. * Paige and I were casually sitting together on the raft. Since we only had 8 blankets, each person got one except for Paige and I, so we had to share a blanket. We were cuddled up and stuff, and I was dozing off into my thoughts. I remembered the last time I was swimming other than on an island. Harry's 19th birthday party. I never went swimming after that for some reason. Then I thought of the time Harry and I were doing a school project. We had to build a bridge that could hold books, and the one that could hold the most books won. Harry's and my project wasn't pretty. But it was sturdy and held 9 books, the record of the year. We both got A's in physics that year. I was brought out of my thoughts when I heard a scream. "Tommy!!!" Niall yelled my nickname. I looked behind me to see that the rope had come undone and Harry and were floating away from the group. I also noticed that Effey was sitting on Zayn's lap, flipping shit because I was floating away. Wait, we're floating away. Thank god that we've all seen each other naked. I stripped out of my clothes and dived into the water, swimming after the rope. I swam as fast az I could to them, while they just cheered me on. Are these people idiots?! Why aren't they trying to swim back towards me?! It seemed like Paige's and my raft was going in the opposite direction as the rest of the group. Like were going north and they went south. We were too far apart for me to swim. I couldn't do it. We were separated on the first day. I gave up on trying to stay together. I'm a terrible person. I swam back to my raft and threw my clothes on. I watched the rest of the group as they floated away. From what I could see, they were tying the rafts back together. At least they have each other. My boyfriend, lemur, and more than best friend were there, while I floated away with Paige. I just couldn't believe it. "Paige, we have to stay strong. We can't cry, or be sad, we gotta get to land. They have a bigger group, they'll make it before us if anything." I comforted her. "I just hope Niall is okay." She whimpered. Oh yea. She's with Niall. "He'll be fine, he's the only smart guy there other than Harry." I joked. "And Zayn." She added. We both laughed. I actually laughed. Not giggle, laugh. * We spent the whole day laughing, paddling, and swimming to find land. Honestly, it feels like we haven't made progress. She was asleep and I sat there, my knees to my chest, crying. I couldn't sleep, no way in hell I'll be able to sleep. Toni, sleep... I heard a voice in my head say. But it wasn't my voice, it was Harry's. And I wasn't imagining the voice. It was legit. I tried with all my strength to say something back. Harry, can you hear me? I was honestly confused by this. Can Harry and I talk through our minds? We've known each other for years, yet this never happened. I was interrupted when I heard his voice say, Yeah, I didn't think you could hear me though. I was thinking to myself. I responded, Harry, we can talk to each other? How's everyone doing? I looked at Paige and she was still asleep. Thank god. It would be weird if you heard this. We're fine, Niall, Zayn, Louis, and I are all flipping. And Effey. But he's snuggling with Zayn. How are you two? I immediately responded by saying, We're fine, but this freaks me out. We can't tell anyone about this. It could get out and we could be tested on. And how did you know I was awake? Harry's response was almost right after my response. Babe, I've known you since kindergarten, and you don't sleep much anymore. You'd be awake worrying at 4 in the morning. I said after that, Shut up, Stylies. Go to sleep. I need to get off this island. Or find Harry. We need to figure this out. Not until you're beside me, Tons. I'm gonna stop think-talking for awhile, Niall's waking up, Bye. He won't sleep til I'm next to him? What does that mean? That kinda confused me a little. Bye. I immediately found the bravery to jump into the water and start paddling faster in the direction we were going. Sadly, I could still see the dreaded island behind me. But I paddled on. I kept piling until I couldn't paddle anymore. Turning around, I looked at the distance we've made. Nothing more of a mile. If that. I could tell this would be a long float. I sighed. I need to find Louis, Zayn, Liam, and Niall. And Harry. Especially Harry.
