The past few weeks were stressful but fun. They hung out with the members of Pierce The Veil and All Time Low on and off for the last 3 weeks. Harry and Carly were getting along well, Louis and Eleanor had a nice vacation in Arizona, Perrie and Zayn had their ups and downs but were happy together. Demi hadn’t come back from her trip yet so Niall decided to fly to her so they didn’t have to be apart (super cute, I know) while Danielle and Liam were really falling for each other. Before Chelsea and Haelo left, Tony and Chelsea hit it off and started ‘talking’. They were starting to get close even though she was back in California and he was in Europe.
In this next chapter, Carly and Harry are preparing and flying to California. She is going because she has a modeling job and he is going because he doesn’t want to be away from her (in case you didn’t remember). I hope you enjoy this!
Harry’s POV
“Are you almost ready?” Carly asked shyly from my doorway.
“Yup.” I nodded zipping up my last bag. “Are you?”
“Yea.” She mumbled before walking away.
I walked around my room making sure I had everything I would need for California and turned off my light before walking out of my room. Zayn was standing in the hallway talking to Carly about what our plans were.
“-with my mom and hanging out with my babes.” She shrugged and looked at me. “Ready?”
“Yes” Her excitement was cute but I hate being rushed and she knew it.
She smiled shyly before walking toward the living room. Zayn gave me a ‘I understand’ kind of look and I smiled rolling my eyes. We followed her down the hallway to living room where everyone was sitting.
“You guys leaving?” Eleanor stood up as Carly nodded.
The rest of the group stood up to say goodbye. Louis was the last person I hugged, if he wasn’t I didn’t feel right leaving.
“I’m gonna miss you, mate.” He whispered into my ear.
“You too.” I smiled embracing him a little more. “I’ll text you when we land.”
“Okay, have fun.” He mumbled when we let go and leaned back.
“Bye El.” Carly entwined our fingers as she spoke.
“Bye Carly.” Eleanor looked kind of sad that we were leaving but a little happy.
We walked to the door with our carry on bags and left the apartment filled with our friends. I closed the door behind us while she walked ahead to push the elevator button. When the doors opened, we both stepped in and leaned against the walls.
“Baby, it’s time to wake up. We’re landing in less than an hour.” I whispered looking into her sleep-filler eyes.
“Okay.” She sighed lifting her head from my shoulder.
“I stretched my back after hours of her laying on it. She yawned and looked outside.
“It’s so pretty out there.” I leaned over while she looked at the clouds and lit up cities below us.
“Yea, that’s kind of why I woke you up.” She looked at me in confusion and then smiled.
“Thank you for coming with me.” To me she looked beautiful and innocent. “I don’t know what I’d do what I’d do without you.”
“I’d never make you come alone and you know I wanted to come.” I laced our fingers together gently.
“True.” She smiled pressing her lips to my cheek.
“Can we go out to dinner while we’re here? Just you and me?” She pulled our hands to her lap while I asked shyly.
“Sure.” She shrugged.
I smiled to myself and looked around at all the other sleeping passengers. Carly let go of my hand to put her hair up. She looked absolutely flawless.
Carly’s POV
“Stop watching me.” I glared over at Harry.
“Sorry.” He smirked looking away.
I couldn’t see him clearly in the dark plane but I’m sure he was blushing. His hand slipped out of my lap and he tapped his fingers on his own lap. I watched as his long fingers ran through his hair, disheveling his curls.
“What’s your mom like? Is there anything I should know before I meet her?” He seemed so nervous.
“Her and I are just the same; straight forward and stubborn. She gets super personal really quick. Like, she’ll probably ask about our sexlife and crap like that. Just be ready for that.” I mumbled.
“That’s easy enough. What about your dad?” He seemed kind of scared of my dad; his fingers still messing with his hair.
“He’s in Cuba, so don’t worry about him.” I caught his hand before he could run it through his hair again. “Relax Harry, my mom will love you just like the babes do.”
“What?” He smiled.
“Yea, they love you. They both said they approve of you and want to find someone who treats them they way you treat me.” I was blushing at my words. “That’s word for word what they told me and I completely understand why they said it. You’re completely amazing.”
“Well, you're amazing.” He turned in his seat and looked at me. “This is cheesy but you're my princess.”
“I don’t want to be your princess, I’m too mean for that. I just want to be yours.” I was getting cheesy but I meant every word.
“That’s true, you are mean.” He shrugged and smiled. “You already are mine. And I’m yours.”
“Yup.” I cupped his cheek and looked at him. “Babe?”
“Yes?” He asked turning the light on above us.
“Your hair is all messed up.” I laughed moving my hands to his hair.
“You just ruined the moment.” He frowned and let me fix his hair.
“No I didn’t.” I winked leaning forward pressing my lips against his.
Our lips moved together for a few seconds before I pulled back. My hands found their way to his chest while he bit his lip lightly.
“Told ya so.” I giggled going back to fixing his hair.
“I hate when you do that.” He frowned again.
“Do what?” I asked innocently.
He just gave me the “don’t play dumb” look making me laugh. I knew exactly what he meant but I didn’t care because I’d make up for it when we were alone. He smiled at me and then looked away with a sigh.
