It Never Ends

My Kind Of Night.

*illianna’s POV*

I pulled up the top of my red gown and ran my hands over the dazzled torso and spaces that exposed my stomach.

I puffed out the bottom skirt part and tightened the grip of my hair clip that held my curled ponytail together.

My makeup was done by professional and I kept looking at my face, feeling a hundred times better.

Tonight was the Senior Prom and I was more than excited to be one of the three Juniors that were attending.

Louis had smiled at me from a distance and made his way toward me, a clear box in his hand.

He wore black slacks, a red dress shirt, his black dress shoes, and his black blazer. A black bow tie was the icing to his attire.

“I just fell in love with you a little bit more.” I giggled, tying his red rose boutonniere to the hem of his blazer.

He admired it before turning his attention to me. “Even when I’m in a tux, I could never outshine you.”

Louis opened the clear box and took out my floral corsage, sliding it onto my wrist.

“You look amazing illianna. This dress brings out that blush you always have on your cheeks when you’re around me.” Louis mentioned, gazing at me up and down. “How did I get so lucky?”

All I could was blush and smile. The real question was how I had gotten so lucky.

We looked around and saw the rest of our friends tying boutonnieres and sliding up corsages. All of us took pictures in the lake view we lived near and took selfies, knowing they would be the last ones we took together.

“Let’s go eat,” Niall spoke, looking handsome in his tux. “The pizza parlor shouldn’t be crowded.”

Louis and I grinned at each other, remembering our last time at the parlor.

The ten of us stuffed ourselves with pizza, wings, and breadsticks, and ordered every type of desert the pizza parlor sold.

Harry and Niall competed to see who could eat the most pizza, which Niall ultimately won. It reminded me when they were playing around the bonfire at Louis’s party.

I was truly going to miss them when they left for college.

“We should go, the dance starts in forty minutes.” Ariana chanted, fixing her champagne gown.

“We don’t have to be on time.” Zayn told her.

“Parking will be bad, if it isn’t already.” I shrugged.

That was enough to get everyone up and gone, paying the bill first.

The drive to the fanciest hotel in our area was long, but not strenuous. As always, every couple took their own car because you never know where you’ll end up next.

After all, it was Prom night.

“Ahh.” I sighed, clutching my stomach. There was a huge pain in my abdomen.

“Are you okay? What’s wrong?!” Louis suddenly panicked.

“I think I ate too much.” I moaned, taking in deep breaths.

“Do you always get like this?” Louis asked me, skeptically.

I looked over at him. “Yes. My body is completely messed up.”

Louis sighed and asked if we needed to stop at a clinic. I said no, not wanting to ruin his night.

“illianna, that's because you were underweight. You need to gain a couple of pounds to be honest. You already said that your stomach never fully developed.” He tried to encourage.

“And don’t say that you’ll get fat. You’ll only become healthy.” He cut me off before I tried to say it.

I hated when he spoke that way to me, but I needed to hear it. He was always right when we fought like this.

We hardly ever got in fights but when we did, it was always over my health.

The pain in my abdomen came back and I moaned once more.

“Look, there goes a clinic.” Louis pointed out, about to make an exit.

“No! I’ll be fine.” I shrieked, terrified of seeing a doctor. “I promise.”

“Promise?” Louis assured me.

“I promise.” I repeated.

All of us arrived to the hotel and made our way inside to the where the dance was held.

There were balloons and neon lights spread throughout the party room with fancy tables all around.

Majority of the Senior class was there and the DJ had the music blasting through the speakers.

The thrones for the Prom King and Queen were set up on stage with the crown and tiara placed in between.

I was uncomfortable at first, not knowing what to do and trying to ignore the pain in my feet from these heels I was wearing.

Louis immediately wanted to dance and I danced half of the evening with him.

There was a crowd of boys having a dance contest in which one of them ripped his pants and also winning the competition.

I even saw Jenna Russo and James Oliver, both of them walking past me and Louis.

“illianna. Your dress, too inappropriate.” She judged, staring at me with hate and disgust. “It describes you perfectly.”

I chuckled. “Your dress, it’s so plain. It matches your personality.” I talked back, looking over her basic black dress.

The two walked passed us and I looked back at Louis.

“You look like a million bucks. Don’t listen to her.” He begged, leaning down to kiss me.

The dance floor had gotten more crowded and the music had been turned up louder. It was easy to get lost so I held on to one of friends at all time.

After a while the heat had become too much to handle and drinking beverages wasn’t helping me. I began to feel an overwhelming of sickness.

I made my way off the dance floor, holding my stomach as I felt it churn.

My skin started to heat up as I started to panic, not wanting to throw up.

I found two side doors, quickly opening them and stepping out feeling into the cool wind.

I leaned on the railings as I tried to ignore the nausea and dizziness, trying to distract myself.

I thought about soccer, puppies and Louis until the sickness started to fade, just leaving me with an uncomfortable feeling of threatening nausea.

I was breathing heavily and tears started streaming down my face because of how emotional I was currently feeling.

"Babe? What's wrong?" Louis's voice sounded from beside me as he joined me outside.

"I think I'm gonna be sick." I sniffled, leaning over and clutching my abdomen once more.

Louis reacted immediately and ran back inside, returning with Zayn.

Zayn started to rub my back and I tried to control my breathing, focusing on his brotherly touch as a distraction.

"What do you feel like?" Louis asked, holding my hair away from my skin and blowing on the back of my neck, which helped cool me down immensely.

"Just sick and dizzy."

"Do you think it's food poisoning?" Louis wondered, pulling me back to his chest to rest as I squeezed my eyes shut.

"It can’t be, you two would be sick too."

"You're right, but your stomach aches aren’t usually like this? You’re probably catching a virus or something."

"Mmm, maybe." I whispered, feeling my eyes droop shut as a sudden tiredness took over my body. I had to hide it though.

“I think I’m good enough to head back in.” I announced.

“Yeah, they’re about to crown King and Queen.” Louis informed me, taking my hand.

We walked back on the dance floor just in time to see Candice Rogers and Cameron Cooper get crowned, which was a little disappointing.

Harry and Elsa were nominated but as always, no one ever paid attention to the soccer players.

I didn’t have much time to think about it as my pain and sickness came back again.

My hand went over my mouth and I ran out, leaving a stunned Louis behind.

I had sprinted out the party room, and crouched over a plant, vomiting violently.

Louis had come from behind and pulled my hair back and kneeled behind me, rubbing my back. He even tried to save my dress from getting spit on.

This continued until I was just dry heaving.

I spat one last time and crumbled into my arms, falling back against my chest weakly.

I was completely embarrassed and sweaty. I was just ruining Louis’s night.

I began panting.

"That's it, first thing tomorrow is a doctor visit for you." Louis ordered.

I nodded, unable to fight back.

I was worried now and I knew he was. I hadn't actually thrown up until now.

Something was wrong.

Notes

Hmm...
Abdominal pains and vomiting.
What do you ladies think is going on?
This might be a issue, since Louis might be leaving for Spain...
