It Never Ends

*Louis’s POV*

Graduation was nearing and in less than four weeks, I’d become a High School graduate.

Every senior was talking about life after High School and the different Universities that accepted them.

Liam and Harry were going to some college for two years to play college soccer and then transfer out to another college.

They earned scholarships and they deserved them.

Niall is choosing to go to college three hours away from out town. He wants to stay close to his family and Monse.

Elsa and Reyza were granted scholarships and our on the same schedule as Liam and Harry.

They’ll be at one college for and get picked up by another.

Zayn is staying local. He’s going to enroll into the Community College so he can still live with illianna and then go to a University.

illianna would be a senior next year along with Ariana and Monse so the three of them could graduate together.

Meanwhile, I’m still struggling on how to break the news of me going to Spain.

The only person that knew was the soccer coach.

I was too nervous to tell my parents and I wouldn’t know what the guys would think.

I knew was good in soccer and so did the guys. But I didn’t want to throw my scholarship into their face.

And I wasn’t sure if I should let illianna be the first one to know. It’ll be too hard for me.

I truly love her and it would be hard for me to imagine myself without her. She was too fragile to hear something like this.

And I don’t want her to fall into her depression without me, especially hurting herself again.

I ended up liking her more than what I originally planned and that was the hardest part.

I fell in love with her.

“Louis!” illianna greeted me. She threw her arms around me and I copied her actions.

“My baby girl.” I said, spinning her around.

Lunch had just started and we were waiting for our ‘squad’ to show.

I placed my backpack on the table where I had hidden a present for illianna.

illianna got lost with each other with realizing it until Harry and Elsa walked up to us.

“Ew.” Harry gagged, laughing while he got lost into Elsa.

I flipped him off and pulled myself off from illianna, only because I had too.

“You two are so cute. Cutest couple. Get married. You’re pregnant.” Ariana spoke, walking up with Zayn, Liam, and Reyza.

“Who’s pregnant?” illianna and I said at the same time. “Not me.” She stated.

“Joking. But you two are cute.”

“You’re cute.” illianna pointed.

I left with guys, grinning at the fact that I hadn’t made illianna pregnant yet.

We went to get food and when we were a good distance from the girls, Niall had confronted me about my soccer scholarship.

“How did you find out about that?” I asked, confused.

“The head Coach wanted to recruit me. But I couldn’t leave my family behind.” He shrugged.

“Niall, you didn’t tell him ‘no’ did you?”

“Yeah.” He shook his head. “I did.”

“Niall. That was your future!” I whispered.

“We’re talking about Spain Louis. I couldn’t uproot and move to Spain!”

I sighed.

“When are you telling Lily? Because I know you haven’t.” he guessed.

I sighed again.

“Really, Louis?”

“It’s hard for me too. I don’t know how she’ll handle it.”

“Well what are you going to do then? Tell her the night you board your plane?” Niall intrigued.

He was right. He was always right. I’d have to tell her as soon as I get the chance.

“Tell her Louis. Because she’ll hate you if you don’t.” he said, walking back to the table.

I gathered mine and illianna’s food and followed the rest of the guys back to the table.

We ate our food, but I couldn’t make much conversation.

I had a feeling something was going to slip out.

When I felt as if the time was right, I made my secret move.

“This has been a very good school year.” I said first. “The best High School year ever.”

“It’s because you’re a senior.” Illianna reminded me.

“It was if you think about it. We made it to playoffs.” Zayn reminded all of us.

“And you finally got Lily by your side. After three long years.” Harry and Liam sarcastically spoke.

I pulled my bag closer to me.

“It was a legendary year for you baby. You’re about to graduate, you were the player of the year, and you made it to the playoffs.” She cheered.

“Well there is one more thing.” I added in.

She looked at me confused.

I opened my bag to get illianna’s present out while Zayn and Niall held out my hand-made poster that was very visible.

The girls widened their eyes and covered their mouths.

The entire cafeteria turned to face us.

I stood up facing illianna, with red roses in my hand.

‘illianna, will you make Prom legendary with me?”
