Lilliana’s POV

Oh my God! Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god! I can’t do this. I can’t believe, how did they…? What did they….? I just don’t understand. How could anyone have discovered my ability? I’ve done nothing, to anyone. Okay, maybe I trick guys into doing all the stuff I don’t want to do, but it’s not suspicious, loads of girls do that. They don’t mind and…. Why am I even trying to explain myself. It’s useless now anyway! When I woke up, Harry wouldn’t shut up. He said that he was going to help, that if I just told him what was going on, he could do something about it. But, he was wrong. We don’t always see eye to eye anymore, but he’s so sweet. The last thing I want is for them to find out about his ability. God knows he’s shit at trying to hide it. The only thing I can do now, is do as I’m told, ‘and no one will get hurt’

Elsa’s POV

“Morning, how are you feeling?” I opened my eyes to the sight of Niall sitting by my side. I’d spent the night on a sofa in his apartment. The apartment he shared with Philly. He’d shown me the way here and gone back, apparently it was something about Philly being trapped in that shack. I didn’t understand, but they were the ones helping me, I didn’t feel like it was my place to ask. I nodded as he stood up and Philly walked in. She had a towel wrapped around her hair. After a night in that old hut, who wouldn’t want a shower? It wasn’t long before she realised that I was staring at her, she looked at me like I’d just tried to kill her puppy or something. I looked away and stood up, my back ached like nobody’s business and my head began to spin. I pulled my brain together and picked my coat up off the floor by the sofa. I was about to make my way to the door when Niall asked me if I wanted toast. I clearly hadn’t overstayed his welcome, but Philly gave him the evils, so I knew that she wasn’t so keen.
“No thanks,” I smiled meekly, “I have to get going if I want to be out of town before the police get involved.”
“The police!” I heard Philly shout as I closed the door behind me, I tuned out of their conversation, it was their business from now on.

Gemima’s POV

Great, fucking IT! I walked into the classroom, all the computers made me feel faint and as soon as I reached my seat, I collapsed into it.
“Don’t worry, it’ll be over soon.” Said Camilla, smiling. Easy for her to say! Camilla and I were’nt exactly ‘friends’, but we got along. When we were children we almost despised each other. One day we started to fight. We were 6 and she was about to throw a bench at me, when she calmed down. She apologised and I told her about my ability. It was a stupid thing to do, but luckily, she could keep my secret. She’s been a lot of help, it would’ve been a nightmare trying to keep it to myself, and I’m sure she agreed. I was like an extreme hacker, I could touch a computer and make it do whatever I wanted, even download my memories onto it directly from my brain like a camcorder, as long as the event was recent. But too much technology made me nauseated, it was like they were so in synch with my brain that just seeing it sent me into shut down mode. Sometimes I wished I could just have an obvious panic attack so they’d never make me do this again, but I wasn’t so lucky. The teacher stood at the front, demonstrating how to use photoshop. I began to use the mouse, I closed my eyes and slowly began to feel better. Suddenly, I felt a hard punch his my arm.
“Ouch, what was that for?” I asked Camilla, she pointed at the screen. I had imagined what I wanted my picture to look like and had finished it in a matter of seconds, shit! Alright, as long as no one had seen except Cam, I was fine.

I had just arrived home when my phone vibrated, I touched it to check the message. Fuck! No, this couldn’t be happening! Not…. How did they know? The message simply read,
We know what you are, we will find you.
I felt faint. When I awoke, it was midnight. I tapped my phone, three voicemails, mum, dad and James. All three of them couldn’t come home tonight, the one night I needed protecting! Coincidence, I think not! I heard a strong knocking on the front door. Through the blurred window I could see a man, dressed in a black suit. I edged my way away from the door, with the bad lighting at this time, he shouldn’t have been able to see me. As soon as I was sure I was out of sight, I ran. I jumped out of the back door and over my garden fence. At this point I didn’t care who saw me, I just needed to get out of there. I ran into a wood at stopped to rest. I thought I’d lost them. Suddenly, I felt a hand cover my mouth and grab my arm.
“Shhh,” the boy whispered. I heard men run past the area and away into the distance. The boy released me, I looked around for him, but he was nowhere. Then, he appeared. I jumped and had to force myself not to scream.
“Wait, I know you,” he rolled his eyes as I spoke.
“Yeah, Lilliana Thornton’s brother,” he smiled, “at least, that’s how I’m known at school.” He asked who I was,
“Gemima,” I looked at the floor, “you can, go, invisible.” I was still attempting to catch my breath. He laughed quietly and nodded. He knew about my ability, at least, he’d assumed I had one.
“I’m actually looking for my sister,” he became serious now, “Lilly might be in a similar situation to you.” He breathed, stressed, “she got a phone call, from a blocked number, it really freaked her out, but she didn’t say why, now she’s disappeared, I saw those men outside our house just before she left.”
“So,” I took in the information, “these people, they’re trying to find all of us.”
