Diary of a Fox
Summary
When America's government is shutdown, permanently, and handed to the British government after all of America's information is deleted, the girl who calls herself Scarlet Fox has only one priority:
Find her family.
After her Mom, Dad, and little brother gets taken to a camp in New York, Scarlet sets out from Los Angeles, to Yorktown, New York. With no transportation, lack of food, no law enforcement, no electricity, and no trust, Scarlet makes a set of rules for survival. She keeps a record of her life in a diary given to her for her birthday. The day before everything falls apart.
Along the way, she meets five boys. Her plan is to hit-and-run, or in better words, rob and ditch. Or some call, guerrilla warfare. But, when one of them makes an offer she can't refuse, she is forced to let them come along. As they travel across America, fighting for survival, they discover secrets that can change their futures forever.
Can she find her family?
Can she learn to trust again?
What will happen to the United States of America, the country that spent years fighting the British for independence?
