Entry 2

Hiding from the British is harder than I thought. I almost got caught three times in two days. I've ran into two groups of people, also on the run. One of them were caught, another managed to escape. But, who knows how far they've made it. Both have asked me to join. Both times, I've refused. I remember one pulling out some book. They started saying a prayer. I just slipped away. And, then the sirens signaling the British had spotted them I've been running my butt off since then. I managed to stop just now to write this. The stars are out, bright and shiny. Guess I'm staying here for the night. Against a tree trunk with bark as tough as concrete. But, rougher and upright.
Oh, no I hear footsteps. Gotta hide!
