(Sophie’s POV)
“Excuse me?” I asked again, spinning around. She was joking. Obviously. They couldn’t be… they were internationally famous people, unless Jo was lying or was incorrect regarding facts about them. Then again, the sun was more likely to explode than that.

Lo and behold, there were five figures standing at my door in t-shirts and sweatpants.

“Pardon,” the one with really dark hair smiled. “We’re in a bit of trouble. Can we come in?”

Before I could say anything, Jo answered, her voice a barely legible squeal, “Yes! Yes! Yes!”

The five figures walked into my front room and we just stared. A different one stepped forward, “So sorry for being rude, if you don’t know who we are, this is Zayn, Louis-”

“Harry, Niall, and you’re Liam,” Jo finished up, visibly trying to subdue her emotions. “Yeah, I know you guys. One Direction. Ohmygosh.”

I was a bit suspicious though, and not willing to let strange people into my house, even five SUPPOSED international stars. For all I knew they could be really photogenic serial killer actors. I crossed my arms over my chest, “Wait, who said you could just-”

A bright, white beam that resembled a searchlight filtered through the front bay window next to the door. Louis sprang up and pulled the curtains tightly together, “Sorry. Can we talk somewhere…else?”

Jo looked expectantly at me and nodded subtly. I could see it was very hard for her to contain her excitement, while I on the other hand, was impartial. “Fine,” I sighed, knowing it wouldn’t be fair to just kick them back into the rain, no matter who they were. “This way.” All of the boys were out of breath and I had to wonder why.

I led them down the hall as Jo introduced us, “Well, I’m Jo, short for Josephine, and this is-”

“Sophie,” I finished for her. My house was on a rather large piece of property for the neighborhood. I led the group into the only bedroom on the first floor, which we had converted into an office. “Here. Take a seat.”

The boys played a game of musical chairs as they decided who would sit where. The office had two couches and two chairs spread out around the room. I named the band members off in my head as they finally sat down. Jo had rambled on about them enough for me to match the names correctly, well, hopefully.

Niall, the baby faced blonde with blue eyes, sat next to Liam, who had light brown hair and pretty brown eyes. Louis, the blue eyed bronze haired boy, sat next to Zayn, the tan one with dark black hair. And Harry, the curly haired green eyed boy, sat by himself. I thus dubbed them (by the previous order mentioned) Blondie, Some Hair, Hair, More Hair, and Most Hair.

Jo sat down in the chair next to Most Hair- I mean, Harry.

I waited a moment to let them settle down, “ahem…would you guys, erm, like something to drink or eat?” I felt really uneasy about this, but I guess I shouldn’t be rude…

The moment I said eat, Niall stood up, “I thought I smelled cookies!”

“Okay, I’ll go get them,” I pushed myself away from the wall I had been leaning on.

“I’ll go with you,” Harry offered quietly. I looked at Jo and she nodded encouragingly, so I let him follow me.

(Niall’s POV)
I watched as Sophie left the room with Harry. Not knowing what else to do, I turned to Jo, who was giggling uncontrollably. “So,” she looked at each of us in turn, “Trouble, huh? What kind of trouble-?”

“What?” I could hear Sophie’s voice from the hall, which caught all of our attention, “What are you- no. You’re not. Are you FLIRTING with me?” Sophie burst back into the room. “I don’t need nor do I WANT your help just going to my kitchen so just stay here!” A look of utter disgust or maybe disdain flooded her features, “My face is UP HERE, Harold!”

With that, she slammed the door and I could hear her walking down the hall.

“My name is not Harold,” he muttered.

We all looked at him expectantly. After a moment of silence, Louis cleared his throat, “Care to explain, Harry?”

He frowned, staring at his hands which were folded in his lap and looking like a scolded puppy, “Not particularly.”

Sophie came back in the room with the tray of cookies which I didn’t hesitate to take. Mmm, they were yummy. Sophie frowned, “There’s your freaking snack. Now can you please get out of my house?”

“We…can’t,” Liam offered softly.

Sophie’s lip twitched “Why?” For whatever reason, I doubted that she was usually like this. She was a pretty girl and looked sweet. Maybe something was making her upset.

“We’re kind of being chased and don’t have our phones,” I tried to finish the sentence off with a cheeky smile. I watched as Jo’s smile widened. Why did girls like my accent so much? I had to laugh.

“Well here, use mine,” Sophie threw her phone at me with uncalled for force “So you can hurry up and GET OUT OF MY HOUSE.”

The lads and I watched as she, once again, left the room in a huff.

“She’s not…usually like this,” Jo tried to laugh it off, “But, I think she would like you more if you explained why you’re here. Give me a sec.” It took a good five minutes, but she finally got Sophie back in the room, making sure she and Harry were separated by the entire space.

Sophie seemed to have calmed down, which put me at ease. She sighed heavily, “Fine. Let’s hear what you have to say.”

“Great!” Louis smiled once we were ready, “This might take a while, so get comfy.”
