--Forever Young--

The week progressed and eventually things began to get back to normal. Me and Alex were closer than ever. I hadn't seen Harry since that awkward run in on Monday.. I was relieved.
However Jason was still acting strange.. He had accomplished his goal.. Me and Alex were friends again, but he was still being abundantly sweet. In the last couple days, I had grown accustom to his compliments. Every time he saw me.. I wasn't just Elena.. I was beautiful or pretty. One day he even called me love.
It made me and Jason seem more than friends.. but it was probably normal for him to talk that way to girls. He was used to dating and sex. Me on the other hand... well I've had boyfriends in the past but.. it was always cut short when I wouldn't kiss them. I wanted to have the perfect first kiss.
I had never thought of Jason in any way other than my best friend.. well because he would never date a girl like me..
But as I sat next to him in 2nd period on that rainy Friday morning.. I couldn't help but noticed how... beautiful he was..
He was as beautiful as Harry, but in a completely different way.
Harry was beautiful because he had a mysterious way about him.. No one could figure him out. Those beautiful green eyes and curly brown hair were a bonus.. And his tattoos.. those were a mystery. No one knew if they were symbolic or just random. But the way they were drawn on his muscular skin made him.. enticing.
Jason was different. He was the care free jock. He was very very popular (like Harry), but everyone had him figured out and everyone knew where he was going after high school.. straight to college with the choice of a football or basketball scholarship. He always got good grades.. he could probably go to Harvard or Yale if he wanted to. His appearance was very different from Harry's as well. He was easily five inches taller than Harry.. to be exact Jason was 6'4. He towered over me.. which I liked since I was pretty tall myself (5'7). And he definitely had the beach look.. it helped that every weekend he went surfing. He was the ideal California boy. He had dirty blonde hair and he was unbelievably tan. He had perfectly defined muscles.
They way my thoughts made it seem was that Jason was way more beautiful than Harry.. But you cant describe Harry's beautiful.
But I was wasting my time with these thoughts, because neither of them would EVER think of me in that way.
I didn't say much at lunch with Alex and Jason.. so they just left me alone.
In last period, Alex finally texted me asking what was wrong.
~You look like you're about to cry.. whats wrong?~
~Oh I didn't even notice.. just deep in thought. Wanna meet at your locker after school to talk?~
~Yeah sure, I'll walk you to Louis' car. xoxo Alex~
I put my phone away and continued to doodle on my paper.
The door opened and there he was.. Harry.. I hadn't seen him all week.
"Ms.Bennet" Mr black called.
"What?" how could that possibly be for me..
"This note says you're needed in the Principal's office.. Please follow Mr.Styles."
I looked at Alex.. She could tell I was nervous. She mouthed the words.. Sorry.
What had i done? And why did Harry need to take me?.. I knew where it was.
"Ms.Bennet!"
"Oh yeah sorry" I got up and followed Harry out the door. He stopped at the doorway.
"Get your stuff" he said with annoyance in his voice
Oh yeah duh. I'm so stupid. I shuffled back to my seat and quietly packed up my stuff. I went out the door and there we was leaning up against the lockers.
"Why does the Principal need me?"
"Oh she doesn't"
Well then wh-" Harry interrupted me.
"We need to talk" SHIT
I followed him to the girls' bathroom and he shut and locked the door.
"Why did you run off on Monday? All I did was ask a simple question"
"Um idk.. I just got nervous I guess"
He reached forward and grabbed my arm really tight. I almost crippled under the pressure.
"Well next time. Dont walk away from me. Now what you did on Saturday morning was weird. Ok? Why couldn't you stay and talk.. You practically assaulted me with that shove."
"I just needed to leave and clear my head."
"Why did you make Alex promise not to sleep with me?"
"I think my lawyer should be present" I said with a smirk. Suddenly I was feeling more confident then I had before.
"Ha Ha very funny. But seriously.. why?" His haha sounded very sarcastic. I didn't know what to tell him.. I couldn't admit my crush..
"Cause I didn't want her getting a million STD's" I said
"Ouch. You have way more to say now unlike Monday."
"Yeah. Well I should get going." I turned to walk off but he grabbed my arm and turned me to face him. Our faces were inches apart.. we were so close. I could feel the heat between our bodies.. and just as our lips about touched he walked out.
Well played Styles.. using my own trick against me. But he wasn't going to win. I chased after him.
"Styles. Not so fast. I invented that trick. Only I get to use it."
"Do you trust me?"
"No." I said with a flirty smile.
"I don't believe you." He took a step closer to me.
"How could i ever trust someone like you Harry?" I took two steps closer
"Come with me." And suddenly his playful smirk turned into anger. I stepped back
"No I have to meet Alex." He grabbed my arm and pulled me out to the parking lot and into his car.
"What the hell do yo think your doing?!?" I shouted.
His expression was soft again.. but guarded.
"Were going for a ride love."
"Don't call me that." We sat in silence. And the farther we drove the more nervous i got. After 20 minutes of driving I knew school was almost out and Alex and Louis would be waiting for me.
"My brother is gonna wonder where I am."
"Louis? No were good friends. I had my buddy Cody tell him that you went home sick and after school you were going to Alex's house."
"Where are we going?"
"Its just a little further patience kitten."
We pulled into an empty parking lot by a dock, that overlooked a giant lake.
"What are we doing here?"
"Well, I'm gonna tie you up and throw you into the lake." He said laughing.
"Very funny smart ass. I can't stay long"
"Well you're gonna have to cause we have to set up for the party tonight. Alex will be here and probably your brother. Lots of people. Cody is bringing the kegs right after school. So until then lets take a walk."
"Um.. ok?" We walked in complete silence.. just like the car ride. However, it wasn't awkward silence.. it was peaceful. Neither of us felt the pressure to say anything. I was really enjoying Harry's company. We walked for about 15 minutes and then went to sit on the dock and wait for Cody. Just as we sat down he pulled up.
Cody wasn't what I was expecting Harry's best friend to be.. He looked just like Jason but acted like Harry.. dark and mysterious. I was expecting a replica of Harry.. but Cody looked nothing like him.
They unloaded the kegs while I sat on the dock. People started showing up and eventually the dock became too crowded for my taste so I decided to go for a walk and find somewhere else to sit.
