One Wish

Hours later after I got done babysitting, I got ready for my date. I slipped into the clothes I bought for this very special occasion. I then straightened my hair and did my make up for the second time today. I could feel my stomach churn. There was only one time in my life I was this nervous. It was when I agreed to go on a a date with Colton.

***Flash back***
I was getting ready and when I looked in the mirror Colton was standing in my doorway. I smiled through the Mirror at him and he smiled back.
***End of flash back***

Now this feeling has returned but this time for Niall. I clutched my stomach to calm it down. I was sitting at my vanity stand and when I looked up Niall was standing in my doorway. He smiled at me through the mirror and I felt my stomach completley flip upside down. I looked down at my stomach and clenched it even harder. When I looked back up Niall was standing right behind my chair. He put his soft hand on my shoulder and said

"You look beautiful." I stood up from my chair, revealing my whole outfit. "Woah." Niall took me in.

My eyes being blue stood out and my long bleach blonde hair really stood out against the dark colors. I was wearing My favorite boots. I looked as though I was from a city a big city.

"Calie... you look...wow." It was so cute, Niall couldn't find the words to say.

"Are you ready?" I asked him.

"Yeah, that's why I came in here. You know, to see if you were ready to go." He sputtered out.

"Niall, you look great." I hoped he would calm down. You would think that after being famous he wouldn't be so nervous. I know he has had to have seen prettier girls than me, so how is it I got so lucky.

Niall looked down at his outfit then back at me, "You think so?"

"Yeah, I do."

"Well, we better get going." He told me. "Do you think anyone will recognize me?" He asked with fear in his voice.

I walked over to him and put my hand on his arm. "Trust me, no one will recognize you unless my best friend shows up, but she is grounded so I don't see that happening. I promise you will be fine."

"Okay, good."

We finally got out of the house, after everyone took pictures and teased us all the way out the door and into the car. The car ride was long and quiet. I didn't know what to say or what to do so I just sat there. Finally we arrived at The Caves.

"We're here!" I said excitedly. I looked over at Niall who was parking the car and smiled. He caught me out of the of his eye. He looked at me and smiled.

"Calie," he paused then continued, "let’s go party!" He laughed at his own joke. He stepped out of the car and I just sat there and smiled for a second. I went to reach for the door handle when, the door popped open. "After you, Madam." Niall joked again.

"Well thank you kind sir." I joked back. Niall laughed is magic laugh. I laughed with him for a moment then said, "Let’s go goofy." He grabbed my hand and pulled me to the entrance. He held my hand the right way when we walked in.

He looked at me and said, "Your hand fits, like it’s made for me."

I smiled at the ground. When we walked into the room with the bands we could not here a thing. We had to scream in each other’s ears in order to talk, which I didn't mind because it meant he was close to me.

Niall leaned over to my ear, "So, Harry told me about the cave with the water that sounds really cool.

"Oh, it’s beautiful I went in there once with my best friend. We came out soaked. "

"Wow that sounds crazy." I watched Niall laugh at the thought of me running out of a cave soaked from my head to my feet, freaking out over what I had just seen.

"It was." I laughed at the memory.

"Do you want to go to the cave?" Niall asked me.

At first I didn't want to know if we would ever make it but then I realized if this says we will last then my life would be amazing. "Sure, let’s go." I grabbed his hand and pulled him through the crowd, out to the cave. I looked at the cave in wonder. We stood there for a minute before entering.

"Are you ready?" Niall looked at me with his big blue eyes and smiled. I took a deep breath and told him yes. We walked in with our hands held tight. We walked for a while twisting and curving with the bending and winding of the cave. Finally we reached the pond. It was a clean blue that glowed bright on our faces. "Whoa, this place is beautiful." Niall whispered. We stood there for a few seconds then walked up to the water that stood still.

I kneeled down next to the water and Niall mimicked. "I wonder if the water is cold." I thought out loud.

Our hands crept closer and closer to the water. Right before our hands touched the water I squeezed my eyes closed and breathed in. I felt the cold water slowly cover our hands. I waited to be covered in the ice cold water. I opened my eyes and turned and looked at Niall. His eyes were closed too. After a minute he opened his eyes and looked at me. "Its freezing!" I smiled really big. I probably looked stupid, really stupid.

"Calie," there was a pause; He pulled our hands out of the water. He put the dry hand on my chin and pulled my face up to his. He slid his hand across my neck over to the back of my neck. I could feel him playing with the little hairs at my hairline. That is when he leaned in for the kiss. He moved in slow. Is this happening?!?! Was Niall going to kiss me? Oh my god! What do I do?I panicked and pushed Niall into the water.

"Holy!! It's fucking freezing in here!" Niall yelled.

He reached up out of the water and yanked me in. "Shit!" I screeched. It was so so so cold.

I splashed at Niall with all my might for pulling me in. He splashed back. I swam over to him, when I reached him he pulled me in for a hug. I could feel the warmth of his body pressed against me. We just stood there in the middle of the water for a brief moment suddenly he kissed me with passion. I felt his lips press on mine with care. The kiss was over before I knew it. He pulled away from my face and studied my eyes carefully. I don't know why but I felt myself bite my lip. Maybe it was to contain myself from saying something I would regret. I watched him smile at the sight of me speechless. That was the most amazing kiss I have ever had and I couldn't say anything. It was as though I was paralyzed.

"Whoa." Is all I could manage to spit out. Niall laughed at that.

"Come here," Niall said as he leaned in for another kiss. This kiss was rough, he ran his fingers through my hair and pressed hard with his lips. But in all this he was still so gentle. It was crazy. I have never felt anything like this. I loved it. I kissed him back. I wrapped my arms around him. I squeezed my hands tight against his back. After we pulled away I felt a smile cross my lips then I bit the side of my bottom lip.

Niall smiled and said, "Whoa."

I couldn't help but laugh; I had just done the same thing. He joined in on the laughing and we sat there for a minute. Finally Niall stood up, "Lets get out of here. Its freezing!"

We ran out of the cave and back to my car. I quickly turned on the heat and reached in the back for the blankets I kept in the car. I gave one to Niall and then rapped myself up in the other.
