One Wish

The next day I woke up. I had completely forgotten about yesterday. I walked out of the room, (my hair was a mess). I walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. I was still half asleep, so I was walking like a zombie. I opened the fridge and pulled out the orange juice. I walked to the cabinet by the sink to get a glass down.

"Morning, sleeping beauty." Niall said in a cheeky voice.

He scared the daylights out of me. I dropped the cup at the sound of his voice. It shattered when it hit the ground.

"Shit! You scared me." I folded my hands over my heart.

"Is everything okay in there?" My mom called in from the other room.

"Yes mom, everything is fine. I accidentally dropped a cup. I'm cleaning it up now." I answered.

"Did you get cut?" She yelled back.

"No, I'm fine." She didn't say anything back. I just realized what I looked like. I wiped the make up out from under my eyes and pulled my hair up. Niall looked at me and smiled.

"Um, thanks." I grabbed the broom and started sweeping.

"Is there any way for me to help?" Niall asked.

"Not really but thank you for the offer." there was an awkward silence for a minute. "So did you sleep well?" I asked him.

"I did, it was a very nice night. Did you sleep well?"

"I did. I enjoyed last night very much. Especially right before bed." Shit, why would I say that!?!? I looked down in regret for saying that.

"Yeah that was my favorite part of the night too." He agreed. "Maybe we can hang out today?"

"Are you asking me out on a date?" I looked up at him.

"Yeah, I guess I am." Niall looked down at the ground.

"Of course, I would love to hang out with you." I couldn't believe he just asked me on a date. He was actually nervous about it too. That is so cute.

"Awesome."

" When?"

"Any time that is okay for you."

"Well, I have to baby sit from 12:30 until 4:30 so any time after that is okay with me. Where are we going?"

"The time sounds great, and I was hoping you knew where to go, I'm not exactly from here." Niall laughed his adorable laugh.

"Well that is for sure." I laughed, "I guess we will have to figure out where to go later. For now lets get breakfast."

"Sounds good." We walked into the dining room and sat down at the table in seats next to each other. when we walked in everyone was staring at us, like we were murderers who just walked into a court room.

"What's up guys?" I asked to lighten the mood.

"Nothing, what's up with you guys?" Louis said in an extremely serious tone.

"What do you mean? Niall questioned.

"You know exactly what I mean." Louis answered.

"Um, nothing." I answered. Out of the silence zayn broke out into laughter and everyone followed.

"You should have seen your faces." Zayn said in between laughing.

"You guys aren't funny." Niall stated. I hit him on the leg and told him to lighten up.

We ate our breakfast while talking about how well we all slept and the weather. I ate my breakfast really fast so that the guys didn't see me like a slob for too much longer. I asked if I could be excused.

I then realized my closet was destroyed and I had no clothes, except the one I wore yesterday or my dress clothes. My dress clothes were in the room where Louis slept last night. I walked up the stairs and into Louis's temporary room. I went over to the closet and pulled out my favorite dress outfit and ran out of the room. I grabbed a towel and got in the shower. After my shower, I wrapped myself in my towel and then my hair up in a separate towel. Out of nowhere the door burst open and in comes Liam.

"Ahhhh," I screamed.

" Oh my goodness, I am so sorry Calie." Liam said while leaving . I caught a glimpse of his face and he was so embarrassed. You could tell, his face was so red.

After I got ready to go shopping for some clothes to wear to school and for my date with Niall, I walked down stairs and into what was left of the living room. Everyone was in there talking about there plans for the day, but when I walked in everyone got quiet. I looked at Niall and smiled. He smiled back at me and looked at the ground. Hunter finally said,

"Sissy, you look boooooootiful!" I walked over to him and knelt down.

"Thanks, bubby." I patted his head and stood up. "Sorry, I wouldn't have dressed up but my clothes and shoes got destroyed in the accident." I felt like everyone was staring at me, I had to explain myself. "I'm going to go shopping in a little bit. I just needed to wear something until I got clothes to change into." I waited for a minute and still, nobody said one word. "Will you all stop staring at me and talk to me?" I pleaded.

"Sorry honey, you just look so beautiful in that outfit. I hardly ever get to see you dress up. I guess, I just love it." My mom told me.

"You look amazing Calie" Liam and Niall said at the same time. They shot a glance at each other.

"Thank you guys. Do you really think that?" I couldn't believe my ears.

Everyone at once said, "WE MEAN IT!" All I could do was smile. My five most admired guys just told me I was beautiful. Who wouldn't smile? I could feel my face getting red.

"Well I have to go shopping before I have to babysit." I told them.

"Do you want some one to go with you?" My mom asked.

"No one has too, if they don't want to." I continued, "Plus if they don't want people swarming up to them then they probably shouldn't go shopping, and anyway its a girly thing."
Harry then smiled at me, "I would love to go shopping with you, Calie. We had suitcases of clothes that were not destroyed. It just so happens we have a hat in one of the suitcases and that hat will hide my face so no one see's me." Harry had a plan and I couldn't disagree.

"Okay, you can go with me." I agreed. "Go get ready." I told him. A few minutes passed and we were ready to leave. We only had two hours to shop. We left the house and ten minutes later we were at the mall.

"So Calie, you really do look beautiful today." Harry complimented me then looked ahead.
I responded with a simple, "Thank you." We walked into the mall and as soon as we turned the corner I ran into a guy.

It was Colton Dephilips, the single most attractive guy in my school. Every girl wanted to date him. I used to be best friends with him. We used to be chubby and ugly. But when he hit puberty he got hot and left me in the dust. I got a new best friend, Sammi, and we went on in our own separate ways. I finally grew into my body and the hot guys started paying attention to me, including Colton. I never stopped hanging out with Sammi, but the guys still try, all except for Colton. I ended up freaking out on him one day. I told him to stay away from me, he had no right to try to date me now. I told him after all of that time. I said that if he wanted to date me he should have when he had the chance. He wouldn't take the risk of his reputation, who would date a geek like me. Now back to reality.

"Oh, I'm sorry Calie." Colton said as he picked up the things he had bought.

"No it's fine. I didn't know you were coming." I knelt down to help him gather his things. We finished picking everything up and we stood up. I handed him what I had in my hands. "Are you okay?"

Colton raised his head from the ground for the first time since our encounter. He looked me in the eyes and said, " Yeah, I'm fine."

"Good, I'm glad." I told him.

"You look really good, Calie." He was so sad, I felt terrible. "So, I heard about the accident. I called your mom to see if everyone was okay."

"You did?" I can't believe my mom diddn't tell me. Why would she keep that a secret from me.

"Yeah, your mom didn't tell you?" He said a little shocked.

"No. I wonder why?"

"She told me you were busy hanging out with some guy." He looked down and back up again. "Do you have a boyfriend?"

"No, but I am talking to some one."

"Yeah, she is talking to my best friend." Harry butted in.

"Oh my goodness, I forgot you were here. I'm so sorry." I felt terrible for forgetting about him. "I should introduce you guys, Colton this is Harry, Harry this is Colton." This is totally awkward.

"Look Harry, I'm not pushing up on Calie, I was just catching up with her." He looked over at me then turned back to Harry, "We haven't talked in a while."

"Okay, sorry I said something." Harry sassed.

"Look boys, there is no need to fight, okay. Now my clothes were completely destroyed and I only have an hour and a half to shop so I have to get started now." I had no Idea this was going to happen. I was so embarrassed. "Colton I will see on Monday at school." I grabbed Harry by the arm and pulled him away. We finally were out of Colton's sight.

"Who was he?" Harry asked. I explained to him the whole situation. "Oh, wow. That had to been terribly awkward." Harry exclaimed.

"It was. Now that that is over can we go shopping?" I asked.

"Of course, gurrrrl." Harry goofed. We went to almost every clothing store in the mall. I had tons of bags and all of them filled with clothes, shoes, and acessaries.

"Harry, I have a date with Niall tonight after work, what should I wear?" I asked.

"Well it all depends, where are you going?"

"I was thinking about taking to this little place outside of town, it's call the caves. A bunch of local band perform and it is super fun."

"What type of music is played there?"

"It's rock music. I don't really care for the music and I know Niall wont either, but they put on great shows and I really love the scenery. There is this cave out back and if you you go in the cave there is this little pond like thing. It is so beautiful, it looks like its glowing.

"That sounds amazing." He stared off into space for a moment then said, "I know just what to wear." He grabbed me by the arm and ran into the store. I saw what he was grabbing and I thought to myself that is perfect.
