Katie's POV
*1 week later*

The days seemed to drag on this past week.
It is now the 10th of February and I already hate university.

I still have no friends and a stalker called Shane who never talks to me but is always looking at me.

I made my way over to my locker and placed my books in and tried not to take notice of the people gossiping about me rather loudly.
"Katie?" I heard someone say from behind me making me slightly jump and turn around.

There stood Ashley with a schedule in her hand and a smile on her face.
I squealed quite loud and tackled her into a hug.

It had nearly been a month since we talked because we both started university and were just really busy before university started and didn't really have much time for Skype or calls. It was really sad that we haven't been talking but she is here now so that is all that matters.
"What are you doing here?" I couldn't help the overly happy smile that was on my face but I was just so glad to have Ashley back in London with me.

"Well I signed up for the university transfer program and your amazing big brother put in a good word for me and guess what? I got picked and now I go to London university with you!" she squealed and hugged me again.

"When did you get here? How did you get here?" I giggled at myself when I realised that I had quoted pitch perfect.

"I just got here this morning and Harry picked me up from the airport and took me to my new apartment then dropped me off here." She smiled then grabbed my schedule from out of my locker to see if we had any classes together which of course we didn't because we were working towards completely different degrees.

"Are you and Harry like a thing now or something?" Her eyes nearly popped out of her head at my words. She then quickly tried to hide it by awkwardly coughing.
"No no no! Were just friends." She smirked before talking again.
"For now anyway."

I couldn't help but laugh at her. I always knew something would come out of the constant flirting those two did.

"Come on. I'll show you around. Well as much as I can anyway, I've only been here a week."

"My classes are finished for the day. Do you want to hang out at your place?" She asked me while she dragged me in the direction of my car but I pulled my arm away from her and stop walking.
"What's the rush to leave?"
She looked at me for a second like she was trying to think of an excuse and after awhile she finally talked.
"I just really want to say hi to the rest of the boys." I wasn't sure if I believed her or not but I shrugged my shoulders and unlocked my car which she quickly climbed into then gestured with her hands for me to hurry up and get in.

I laughed before sliding into the drivers seat and starting the car.

"Good to have you back Ash."

We burst through the front door laughing like the girly idiots we are but stopped when we saw Liam pacing around like a crazy person. I wonder what's got him all worked up.

It was only five o'clock so he honestly couldn't be mad at us because we drove straight home from the university. It's not my fault some of my classes are so late in the day and Liam always said that I should never going shopping or go out without him unless it's to school so I don't get what he is so worried about.

"There you two are! Ash you were meant to have Katie home an hour ago!" I looked between Ashley and Liam for a second, I am so missing something here.
"What are you on about? Did you know Ashley arrived today? And the traffic was terrible today."
He looked at me for a second like he was trying to think way to fast and frying his brain.

"Go get changed were going out." He didn't seem angry, more like rushed and overwhelmed.
"Why? Where are we going?" I'm not sure why but I felt like something bad was going to happen. Like he was about to get rid of me just like my old family did. Maybe he has finally had enough of me.

"Just go get changed please." He sighed knowing that I wasn't going to give up that easily.
"Not until you tell me where we are going!" I shouted a bit louder than needed but I was getting angry that he was trying to push me back out the door as soon as I got home.

"No." He fought back.

"Yes!"

"No!"

"Please?" I used my puppy dog eyes as a last resort.

"It was meant to be a surprise but I know you won't give up so I will just tell you. I got us tickets to the 5 seconds of summer concert that I know you wanted to go to. I knew Calum really wanted you to go because he has a surprise for you so I told him I would bring you and Ashley." As soon as he was done talking I walked over to him and hugged him as hard as I could.
"You had me worried Liam! I thought you were trying to get rid of me."
He laughed at me and hugged me back.
"Never baby girl."

As soon as we got to the arena where the concert was being held we were bombarded with people shouting this to us and trying to get our attention. I still get quite overwhelmed with all this because being honest, it is way more then any teenager should have to deal with unless they have always wanted to be famous but when I was younger I never imagined myself to be like this. I never wanted it.

Lately the fans have been warming up to me and not being as cruel but of course there is always the few hurtful messages on twitter but I have a feeling that's not going to change anytime soon.

"Right this way." One of the security guys directed us to the room where the boys were once we managed to get away from all the fans.
Once we reached the room Ashley happily skipped over to Luke and hugged him. I thought she liked Harry so what the hell is she doing? I guess Harry isn't here because the only member from One Direction I can see besides Liam is Niall who I haven't talked to since my first day of university when he drove me to school and nearly made me cry in the car. Not much else to say to each other after that.

I snapped myself out of my own thoughts and looked around to see everyone was talking to someone except for Calum who was sitting on the couch by himself watching me stare into space with a big goofy grin on his face. He nodded his head for me to come sit next to him so I smiled and made my way over.

I was about to sit next to him when he wrapped his arms around my small waist and pulled me onto his lap. Gosh he can be so cute but there is no way I'm telling him I like him until he tells me first.
Calum turned me so I was sitting sideways on his lap, he placed a kiss on my cheek then hugged me so tight I could barely move.
"Calum if you hug me any harder I won't be able to breathe." I giggled as he attempted to hug me tighter.
"I'm just glad you came tonight! I have a surprise for you!" He poked my one dimple I have as he talked. My dimple wasn't he cute as Harry's were but that's pretty much because I only have one so it's not as cute. I slapped Calum's hand away from my face and laughed as he pouted.

"Your dimple is so cute!" Michael said poking my cheek as well has he sat next to Calum and I.
"I agree." Calum poked my dimple again making me hide my face in his chest so they couldn't poke my cheek anymore. These boys were so annoying yet I loved to be around them.
I felt Calum laughing underneath me as he lifted me up and place me down on the couch so he could go get his hair done.

Once he was finished with his hair he came over and pulled me off the couch and sat down placing me on his lap again.
"What's my surprise?" I asked happily while I played with the rubber bracelet he had around his wrist. I always thought that boys that wore bracelets were weird but Calum pulls it off.
"It wouldn't be a surprise if I told you silly." He laughed at my failed attempt to get him to tell me. I pouted which just made him laugh and hug me again.

The boys were set to go on stage soon and I tried many times to get off Calum's lap but he would always pull me back not that I was really complaining.
I was enjoying the peaceful moment when I heard my phone go off in my pocket so fished it out just to find it was a twitter mention by Ashton.

"@Ashton5SOS: Look at these two! @Katie_Payne I would like my band mate back thank you! haha"


I laughed at the photo Ashton had taken which I didn't even notice he took.

"You should go get ready." I whispered to Calum while showing him Ashton's tweet, he laughed at shook his head.
"Not until you give me a good-bye kiss." He smirked which made me roll my eyes.
I kissed his cheek then quickly jumped off his lap and held my hand out so I could help him up.

"That doesn't count!" He pouted while fixing his shirt and getting ready.
"You weren't specific." I smiled to him then went and sat next to Liam.

"Well aren't you two cute." Liam laughed and nudged my shoulder with his.
I wasn't really sure what to say so I just giggled and continued to look through my twitter feed for awhile.

I saw a few tweets about me and Calum but one caught my eye.
"@5SOSlover: @Katie_Payne and @Calum5SOS I think you two would be the prefect couple! One of you make a move!"

I had to laugh at the tweet because it was so cute. Calum came over and looked at my phone before laughing too.
"She's right you know we would make a cute couple." I blushed at his words before standing up and walking with Calum to the side of the stage where we would be watching them preform.

Calum turned around and kissed me on the forehead.
"Be back soon." He winked then happily bounced onto the stage.

Halfway through the concert they were about to have a break and change outfits but said they had to tell the crowd something first.
"Were about to have a quick break but we wanted to tell you that we have a special guest for you when we came back."

I looked up from my phone to see Calum looking at me which was nothing new since he has been waving to me throughout the whole first half of the concert.
"Our friend Katie Payne is studying music at university so we thought we would get her out here to sing for you!" Michael happily said into his microphone then looked over at me before they all walked off the stage and over to me.

I was frozen with fear right now. I have never sung in front of such a large crowd and I'm not starting now.
"Katie are you okay? Are you going to get ready?" Luke asked me as he came over and gave me a quick hug which just made Calum glare at him then wrap his arm around my waist.
I finally snapped out of my shocked state and shook my head.
"I cant do that! I've never sung in front of that many people!" I am so scared of how horrible I could sound.
"Katie we have all heard you practicing after school this past week and you're amazing! Just sing the song you have been working on for school." Calum talked while rubbing small circles on my back.
Just his touch made me calm down and start to feel a little less freaked out.

I took a deep breathe before talking again.
"Okay I will do it but Calum can you please play the guitar for my song?" I really hoped he knew the chords for the song because I didn't want to be out there alone.
"Sure I know the chords! It will be easy you'll see." He smiled before pulling me onto stage with him.

As soon as we were on the stage the screaming increased and I let go of Calum's hand and rubbed my hands together nervously.
"Hey guys! This is Katie which you probably already know and she is going to be singing a cover of Wonderwall by Oasis!"

Everyone started cheering as Calum began to strum the beginning chords for the song. I took a deep breathe and imagined I was in the practice room at university. I let out my breathe then began to sing.

I finished singing and looked at Calum to see him smiling at me while he finished the last chord on his guitar. I gave him a big hug as I whispered in his ear.
"Thank you Calum, I could have never done that without you. Your my wonderwall" I giggled at my words and hugged him tighter.

I pulled away from him and began to walk off stage but he quickly grabbed my hand and stopped me from walking.
"One more thing before Katie leaves." He smiled at me before signalling for a man standing on the side of the stage to come over. He was carrying a giant teddy bear that looked like it was the same height as me and a bunch of yellow roses. my favourite colour rose.

"In a couple of days it will be valentines day and unfortunately I won't be in London on the day so Katie I'm asking you now. Will you be my valentine?" He held out the roses towards me and looked nervously into my eyes.
Words could not explain how happy I was right now.

I nodded my head since I couldn't seem to find any words. I jumped into his arms and heard the whole arena start to scream even louder.
I looked into his eyes and couldn't resist any longer so I placed my lips onto his which he happily and eagerly kissed back straight away. It was our first kiss and it was so cute.

we pulled away and stared at each other for a moment before Calum spoke up.

"Did you like your surprise?" He asked while protectively wrapping his arms around me.

"Loved it."
