August 23

Harry POV

I wake up, and look at the clock. 9:00. I know exactly what day it is.
Bella and Cat both start school on the 26th. They live in different states, but mainly have the same school schedule. Bella leaves today.
I throw the sheets off of my legs, and place my feet on the cold, hardwood floor. I stand up, and walk out of my room. I walk down the hallway to the bathroom. I go to the sink, and look in the mirror. I mess up my hair to make it look normal. I wash my face, and brush my teeth. I walk back into my room. I spot something laying on the floor. I pick it up, and smile when I see its my black shorts. Bella had to wear them when she lost her shorts when we all went sailing.
I check my phone. 9:15. I change into swimming shorts and a t-shirt. I walk down the stairs, and write a note to my sister. She's the only one home right now. I tell her I went to the market and I don't know when I'll be home in the afternoon. I walk out the door. I start to bike to the market, since I live the furthest. Everyone is meeting at the market at 9:30. As I bike down Natalie's street, I see her pulling out from her driveway on her bike. She turns and sees me.
"Hey Harry!" she yells.
I bike over to her, "Hey."
We bike down the long road. We cross the highway, then keep riding. We turn left into town. I see Bella riding from the opposite way, with Cat. Bella smiles at me. Clayton and Brandon are further down the road. Natalie and I pull into the front of the market and park our bikes. Bella, Cat, Clayton and Brandon do the same. Cat turns and sees Clayton, for the first time since the night that Brandon and Bella kissed.
"Clayton!" she squeals, and hugs him.
Bella hugs Clayton and Brandon. We all walk into the market. Bella walks next to me.
"We can only stay for like 5 minutes," she says, "I have to go really soon."
"So we don't have time to eat," Cat adds.
I make a sad face at Bella. She hugs me. We all sit around and talk for about 10 minutes, then Bella and Cat say goodbye to everyone. When Bella comes up to me, I look at the time.
"Your usual 15 minutes!" I say. She laughs.
Bella is always 15 minutes late. She goes home 15 minutes after curfew, shows up to the beach and the market 15 minutes late, always 15 minutes late.
Bella hugs me. I rest my head on hers. Our height significance is huge. I lean down and whisper in her ear.
"I'll miss you," I say.
"I'll miss you more," she pulls back and smiles at me.
I furrow my eyebrows, "I love you."
"I love you too," she turns her head. I give her a lingering kiss on the cheek.
"Goodbye," she says. She and Cat walk out the door.
I won't see her until the end of June. I wonder if she'll change. Will her personality change? Or her looks?
The door of the market closes.
"I'm not really hungry," I say, "I'm going to go."
"Bye!" Lucy and Brooke say.
I walk out, and get on my bike. I slowly bike down the road, and turn right. I bike slowly down the road. When I finally reach home, I go straight into my room. I remember all the events of the summer. I can't believe everyone is leaving tomorrow, along with me.
