Chapter 19
Ellie's POV
I woke up to hear the news on. It was about a local girl running away. I sat there and looked to my left. Tuesday was sleeping and holding my hand. I look to my right and Liam was holding my other hand and sleeping. I look back at Tuesday. Her make-up was running. I didn't know why I was here in the hospital. I looked over at Liam and I saw a clock. It blinked red lights.
1:18 it read.
It kept blinking. I looked up and saw Niall. He look destroyed. He looked at me with big eyes. I saw one single tear fall from his eyes. He just stood there. I looked over at Liam then Niall. Niall signaled me to pretend to be asleep so that he could do something. I closed my eyes. All I had left was my ears.
"Hey mate you need to get up." I heard Niall say. I think he was talking to Liam. I felt someone let go of my hand. It was Liam because my right hand get cold. "Why did you wake me up mate?" Liam said in a raspy voice.
"I woke you up because you have to get up early and you need to get home." Niall said. I felt someone leave the room.
"Hey Tuesday. Sweetheart you need to leave." Niall said shaking her. I felt my left hand get warmer. I think she was squeezing it. "Niall do you think she will wake up?" She said with a sad tone. That broke my heart. My girlfriend was scared that I wouldn't wake up. I would be too.
"Tuesday. She will wake up. I can promise you that." Niall said in a happy tone. I felt her let go of my hand and I felt her leave the room.
Right when I was about to open my eyes I heard Tuesday say," Someone named Jeremy is here to see Ellie." My heart stopped. Niall couldn't say no. I sure as hell couldn't. So he came in.
"What are you doing here?" Niall growled. I wanted to "wake up" right now and talk to Jeremy and why he left. I stayed "asleep" and listened to the convocation. "I'm here to see my sister and bring her some flowers. Is there a problem with that?" He said it like nothing ever happened. That hurt real bad.
"Last time I checked you didn't want anything to do with Ellie." He said in a harsh tone.
"I had a good reason for that!" He practically yelled at Niall. Ok I couldn't handle this anymore. I shot my head up and told Niall to close and lock the door. He did as I said. I looked at Jeremy. It hurt to look at him.
"I heard this whole convocation and the other one at the house and some how they are both about me. Now you're going to explain why you left me all alone and aid all those things about me. Ready. Set. Go." I said and waited for him to explain.
"I was going through a tough time. I was drunk. I didn't understand why you were going to go clubbing after what had happened and I am sincerely sorry." I couldn't believe this. I looked at him with so much to think about.
"I don't know what to say." I said. "Don you mind leaving. Come back tomorrow and we can talk about this Jeremy." I said that and then he left.
Time to talk to Niall. have never been so scared in my life.
