Spies Of Oak Hills ~Completed~

Chapter 25

Louis' POV

It was becoming morning as the sun slowly made its way over the horizon. The sky was turning a shade of light red with the clouds slowly forming thicker and thicker over time, maybe snow will come soon? The train was soon to be at the train stop in less than a half an hour. Ariella so far has not woken up yet and I really need her to be. I'm guessing from where we are now is somewhere that is familiar since we are in the same town as her school. I have become more aware of our surroundings including the people. After what happened on the ride, I learned to trust no one that we don't already know.

I am taking a very good guess that the people that attacked us were part of the London Black Cove. I felt like I saw them before, once though, when I was with Walter in an International meeting with the big boss back in my recruited years. Walter saw potential in me and knew I was different. He treated me like I was his own son. His only son. All the other guys would complain on why I get the special treatment, when I was really treated like everyone else. Or worse actually. Because of the potential he saw in me, he would push me to do everything harder, and more work involvement. I still don't see it, since after all I just helped our best lead to get-

"Is there anything else I can get for you two?" one of the waitresses whispered, pulling me out of my thoughts. I looked down and saw Ariella still sleeping. I shook my head and thanked the waitress before she left. The train was slowly stopping, meaning that we were here. Something stirred under my arm and I quickly looked down and saw Ariella's eyes slowly flutter open. Relief quickly flew through me.

"Lou..?" she said quietly. She looked around to see where we were and sighed.

"Hey hun, you alright?" I said quietly in case she had a headache.

"Yeah. I had this crazy dream though, that we were in London and we went to the London Eye, but then it was loosed out and then the people we were with in the capsule began to attack us and we jumped hundreds of feet up off the ground into the river nearby before the ride-" she began to say and I just chuckle while interrupting her.

"Oh love, it did happen. You passed out because you ran out of air underwater since you couldn't swim. You had a glass shard in your leg and arm which didn't help you swim up in time. That is until I got you. Thankfully, you just passed out from lack of air. Niall would've killed me if I let you die." she chuckled lightly at that last part.

"Thanks Lou. You know, for saving me in time." She smiled.

"Anytime Ari." I hugged her but she winced making me immediately pulling away, remembering the cut on her arm. "Sorry." I said quickly.

"Don't worry, it doesn't hurt that much, only when there's a lot of pressure on it." she said while stretching out her arm to release some of the pain.

The train finally came to the train stop, and Ari and I got up and stretched what we could. My body felt like it had a thousand needles inside of it, and it hurt really bad. I walked it off though since Ariella is waddling because of her leg. Her arm seemed to be fine which was good. I grabbed the bag from the upper compartment and led the way off the train. Ariella looked relieved to be back in the town.

"I'm back..." She said.

"Yeah, you are." I said. She looked over at me as we found a place to sit for a moment.

"So are you really not going to come and stay at Oak Hills?" she asked me.

"Told you, not safe."

"Like I told you, the school is safe, and what happened to when you said that if they find you after what you just did, they are going to you know," she brought her finger up to her neck and brought it across while making a weird sound. I chuckled.

"Yeah, that's still true." That's true. They would.

"Exactly! So you should stay... Please?" she quietly pleaded. I sighed.

"I'll think about it, how's that..?" I compromised.

"Fine..." She huffed. "But please consider it. You will fit in perfectly, and you can catch up with Niall too. It's a win-win!" she smiled.

"Thanks for that. Maybe-" I started.

"YOU'LL STAY?!" she suddenly yelled in happiness, cutting me off.

"MAYBE, I WILL CONSIDER IT!!" I yelled back, unable to remove the grin from my face. We both just stayed silent for a couple seconds before breaking out into fits of laughter. People began to stare at us with confused looks so we took it down a notch, but we were still laughing.

As we began to walk out of the station and onto the streets to find a public phone booth , someone was shouting out to us so I quickly became in defense stance, waiting for the people to come. As we saw them come closer, I realized that it was the same people as before at the London Eye.

I picked up Ariella and placed her onto my back while grabbing our luggage before taking a quick run down through the crowded street. We eventually lost them but knowing that they are indeed from Black Cove, they will find us soon enough. I then saw a phone that was available and placed Ari in it and giving her the change to make the call. I closed the door and awaited outside, watching for any more followers.

Ariella's POV

Once Louis left me inside the booth, I put in the change that I needed to make the call. I decided to call my mom since I figured that the gang is in session with classes. I waited for her to answer as the phone continued to ring. Just as it was about to go to voice mail, she answered.

"Head Mistress of Oak Hills, how may I help you?" she greeted me.

"Hey mom." Her end was silent for a moment before she began to speak.

"Hello dear, are you alright? Are you back?" She asked me.

"Yeah, I just have a cut on my leg that won't let me walk on it but other than that I'm alright."

"That's good. You went through worse so this is good. Do you want me to send a car out for you?"

"If you can that would be nice. I don't really feel like walking all the way down." I joked.

"Haha, alright dear, where are you?" I looked out to see a street sign.

"Boulevard Ave." I confirmed.

"Alright, Dave is on his way. See you soon Ariella."

"Bye mom." With that I hung up. I walked (well waddled) out of the booth to find Louis running away.

"Louis?! Where are you going??!!" I yelled out. He stopped running and came back over to me, throwing me onto his back and grabbing our luggage before running back into the same direction where he started. There was someone up ahead running just as fast as Louis was running.

"Louis, what are you doing?!" I shouted.

"You need to see this.." was all he said. Once we caught up to the person, cornering them in an alley not to far from the booth, Louis put me down and motioned me to stay and watch. He slowly walked up to the person with their back to us as they looked for an escape but couldn't find one. Louis pulled them back to face us.

"I knew it..." Louis said.
