Carie's POV

He took in my appearance and had a very upset face. He slowly walks toward me, being careful with each step. Soon we were face to face, just inches apart.

"Carie.." He whispered as he reached out to me and gently rub my cheek. He was in deep concentration. "What happened?"

"To be honest,-" I started but the nurse cut me off.

"Oh good, you're awake now. I'm going to need to you to come with me back to your room so we can run a couple more tests and then question you regarding the incident that happened to you two days ago." she told me while tugging at my arm and placing me on a wheelchair, wheeling me back to my room. I looked back and saw Drake standing there in the office, taking in what just happened. Once it was all in, he quickly walked behind the nurse and I back to the room I was previously in when I woke up.

"Mr. Johnson I'm going to ask you to please go back to your classes. Ms. Gonzalez will be out soon enough." the nurse told him, but it looked like he just ignored everything that she just said and continued to walk behind us. The nurse sighed knowing that he wasn't going to leave and she seemed in no mood whatsoever to argue with him.

Once we got to the room, the nurse helped me back onto the bed with the paper now removed. I didn't even need the wheel chair, I can walk perfectly fine. The nurse began to perform more physical tests such as heart rate, feeling my muscles, ears, mouth, bones, and eyes. Just like any other normal check up you have when you visit a doctor. Drake sat in a chair in the corner, his knee bouncing up and down with little to no patience with the pace the nurse was going at with the tests.

I still can't believe what I over heard.. He likes me.. He cares about me.. I looked over to him and once his sight met mine, he stopped bouncing his knee and slightly smiled at me. I returned the same smile while blushing. The nurse finally finished the tests and put all of the instruments away back into their right place. She scribbled something down onto a clipboard before taking a seat not too far from where Drake was before looking straight at me.

"So, Ms. Gonzalez, your physical tests are over and they all seemed to improved, there was something in your system that should leave soon and with little resting you will be back to your old self again. Now before I let you go I have to ask you, what happened?" she said, holding the pen close to the clipboard ready to write what ever I was about to say. What do I say? I don't even know what happened myself.. Drake looked over at me seemed eager to know.

"In all honestly, I don't even know what happened.. I don't remember." Once I said that the nurse looked wide eyed and Drake was shocked and paling.

"You don't remember anything that happened to you, whatsoever, at all?" She asked once more. I shook my head.

"Alright, I'm going to run a couple more tests on the blood sample. You can change back into your clothes that are at the end of your bed and head back to your dorm. I will alert your teachers and will call you in once I know more about what was in your body. Feel better, hun." she said while packing up and leaving the room. I grabbed the clothes that were at the end of the bed and looked over to Drake. He was looking down at his shoes in deep thought.

"Drake...?" I said. He immediately looked up.

"What's wrong?" He asked confused. I looked down at my clothes, the door, then back at him. He quickly got the message. "I'll be out here, call me when your done, or just step out, whichever.. I'll still be here.. Okay I'm going." He stuttered while shutting the door behind him. I smile at him and change into my clothes once the door was closed. I walked out and saw him leaning against the wall across the hall from the door. He smiled when I walked out. We walked out of the Nurse's Office and began walking towards my dorm. It was silent as neither of us didn't know what to say. I decided to break the ice.

"Sooo, what happened in the office before I walked in...?" I quietly asked while looking down, avoiding any eye contact.

"Well, I may have over reacted when I found out you were there.. Sorry." He said. I smiled.

"Don't be sorry. It's alright to be a little concerned." I said jokingly. He just sighed.

"I got a little freaked out when I heard what happened.. To be honest.. But I'm glad your okay." He said with sincerity in his voice. I looked up at him for once and saw him slightly blushing.

"Thanks." By now we reached my dorm. "Alright, well, thanks for walking me up here... I'll see you tomorrow I guess.." I said then walking into my dorm, only to be pulled back slightly by my arm into the hallway. I was engulfed into a hug and I happily returned the gesture. Before I knew it I was released and I felt a pair of soft lips on my forehead. I blushed intensely once he pulled back. He smiled at my shocked face.

"Get some sleep. I'll see you tomorrow." Was all he said. He then turned away and walked off, leaving me to stand there on my own. I slowly walked into the dorm to see an already smiling Nicki. Spy.. Remember? So I guess she already knew what just happened. We stood for a minute in silence before squealing and jumping in place, smiling like the idiots we are.

I am sooooo sorry for not updating in days!! D: I got so caught up with the over whelming of homework of the new semester, I didn't have a chance until now to write another chapter. I am going to write another chapter and have it up SOON. I lost two subscribers :( I hope I can get them back and if not more...

Once I'm used to the amount of work I got I will put an update calendar, so you guys will know when the next chapter comes up. Thank you to those for bearing with me.
