Ariella's POV

"How did you end up working here?" I asked, curiously. His face immediately got pale and he looked away from me while staying quiet. It seems that the question caught him off guard.

"Louis?" I asked slowly, placing my hand on his shoulder. He looked at me with pleading eyes that read to not press on. Ask later. Not now. So I didn't.

"Sorry. I didn't know it was a hard topic.." I apologized. He just sighed.

"Don't worry, I just wasn't expecting that yet. I will explain later. Promise." He said slightly smiling. I returned the gesture.

"So, Louis, tell me about yourself other than that you work here." I started. Hey who knows how long we are going to be walking for. Might as well kill some time by getting to know who helped me break out.

"Please, call me Lou. Or Tommo. Call me Tommo." I nodded smiling. "Well, my full name is Louis William Tomlinson, I was born and grew up in Doncaster, England..." He starts, telling me more about his past life.

I actually thought he was pretty cool. He told me about his family, how he met Niall, and some funny stories when they were growing up before becoming spies.

He was currently telling me another one of his funny stories as we continued to walk through the thick forest about when they were walking around a toy store that they were starting to work at when all of a sudden they noticed that they were getting chased by some drunk guy. There were nerf guns involved. I could actually imagine them fighting off with a drunk guy with childrens' toys. It was pretty funny.

"No, wait, it gets funnier!" He said while we were cracking up.

"So then he got tired of 'fighting' with us and decided to call it a draw so he just asked us if we could just walk him out since the store was pretty big so we did, but half way to the door my manager got onto the intercom to have someone clean up the mess that we made with this guy! And let me tell you Niall and i looked back and saw toys EVERYWHERE! We were sure to get it from our boss afterwords! Anyway.. The guy just stopped and dropped to the ground on his knees, and looked up at the ceiling. We were confused but hiding our laughs behind our hands and he just yelled out, 'GOD HAS SPOKEN!' "

We just stopped walking because we were laughing too hard. We couldn't walk anymore so we fell to the ground to catch out breath from laughing too hard. Once we regained our breath, we continued our walk. After about another mile I heard something I was aching to hear.

Cars.

I placed my arm in front of him and he looked at me confused.

"Lou, do you hear that??" We stayed quiet and listened to the direction of the sound. It came from north west of us.

We practically ran as fast as we could as the sound got louder. The pain in my ankle has went away from all the running which is good. We then saw a street, then cars, people, and finally, large buildings. Louis looked like a kid in a candy store. But we cant celebrate yet.

"Lou!" I snapped him out of his thoughts.

"Yes? Sorry." he scratched the back of his neck.

"We have to find out where we are first." I looked around and didn't see any signs. Only stores, shops, businesses, and restaurants. I was hungry, but I don't have money.

"Hey Lou..."

"Yes?"

"Got any cash on ya by any chance?"

"Always. Why?" He looked at me confused. I smiled.

"Hungry?" He quickly nodded his head. We quickly went to the nearest store and bought food.

After eating and talking for a little bit, we still had plenty of money left so we decided to rent a room for the night at a motel. We each had our own bed but had to take turns with the "loo" as Louis calls it since there was only one. It had a kitchen in one corner and and living room with a small TV in the other.

He left me at the apartment for a bit and went to a pharmacy at the corner of the block to get me some medication since I was still intoxicated from that bag. He soon returned with the medication and helped me clean my small wound.

Because the only clothes we had were the ones on our back, we walked down the streets, going through shops and bought pjs and street clothes. We then came back to our room, where were now in our separate beds slowly drifting asleep. But we couldn't sleep completely.

"Hey Lou?" I asked softly.

"Yes, Ari?" He said tiredly.

"Do you think Walter will find us?" It took him a moment to speak. We were facing the walls and when I asked him that i faced him from my bed. He slowly turned around to face me in mine. He wore sweat pants and no t-shirt. I didn't like any of tops that there were, so he offered his, to keep me from getting cold.

"Of course not. As long as we stick together, you and I, we will be alright. You know, you ask a lot of questions my dear. Curious aren't you?" He weakly smiled. I returned the same smile while I threw one of my pillows at him.

"I'm a spy, hello? Always have to get the most information I can get."

"I know, I know." he yawned.

"Alright. Good. Goodnight Lou."

"Goodnight Ari." We drifted to a peaceful slumber.

Notes

So they finally found civilization. Yay! But what about the rescue crew?! How will they know where she is?! For Louis, he has decided that now is not the time for that story. He promised that he will say it later on. But when...? Hmm..
