Carie's POV

We were all sitting in chairs with our heads down in front of her desk. Including Whore Of the Hour to my right while a satisfied smile on her face. She was called down as well shortly after we arrived inside. And I had the pleasure to be the one to sit next to her. Note the sarcasm. God how much I wanted to slap that stupid fake smile off of her face.

Mrs. Edwards was pacing around the room while pinching the bridge of her nose. She hasn't said a word or even looked up to us since any of us entered the room. We all patiently waited for her to begin. Finally, she stopped, inhaled deeply and sighed. She walked back to her desk, sat down, and looked at all of us. She only said one word.

"Explain."

We all looked at each other deciding who was to speak first. They all looked to me with pleading eyes. Sigh.. I stood up and everyone's eyes followed. Here I go..

"Mrs. Edwards, we were on a class field trip to the city in Field Operation Studies with Mr. Watson when-" she paused me by raising her hand. We all gave confused looks to her.

"Enough. That's all I needed to know." She sighed and began to mumble to herself words we could not understand. She placed her head in her hands on the table.

"What, Mrs. Edwards?" Brittney asked. She removed her head and looked at her.

"Your dismissed Ms. Reynolds. " She said with slight anger. We were all shocked and looked over to her and she had the same face.

"But I want to know how they are punished and whats my reward for-" she bickered.

"I am dismissing you Ms. Reynolds."

"Mrs. Edwards-" Ohhhh no. This girl cannot take a hint..

"If I have to tell you one last time Ms. Reynolds I will not hesitate to expel you." She said sternly. Brittney quickly got up and ran out of the room. Mrs. Edwards placed her head back on the table. We all looked towards each other and wondered.

She didn't say anything for the past five minutes, so me being the good person that I always am, I got up and walked up to her, placing my hand on her shoulder. She immediately relaxed under my touch. She removed her head once more and looked and me. She gave me a smile and i returned the favor. She looked over to the rest of us sitting. She then sat up in her chair, nodded for me to sit back down and had her hands crossed on the desk. Once I sat she began to speak.

"I've known you all for quite some time and can say you have the capability of almost anything. That's why I'm only allowing only you six (Me, Nicki, Drake, Seth, Josh, and Niall) to go out on this task to receive her. Bring her back home as quickly, swiftly, and quietly as possible, understood?" She eyed us all. I raised my hand and she gestured to me telling me to speak.

"What about our classes?" What? I need to know.

"Good question. But. I've already had sent out an email excusing you all from your classes until you return from this." We all cheered but she quickly silenced us.

"Now, I am also allowing you to use any equipment that you may need as well. Here." She reached under her desk and pulled out a small black suitcase. She opened it and it contained 6 small ear microphones.

"I expect you all to have these on at ALL TIMES in case I happen to check in on how it is going alright?" We all nodded. "Very well. You are all dismissed." We stood and grabbed the mics one by one and headed for the door. She quickly called out to us. We turned and faced her.

"Please, be safe and bring my adopted daughter home safely." She looked at us with worrying eyes. We all nodded reassuringly and headed for the van. We drove overnight to reach the forest.

Brittney's POV

How dare she kick me out!! Mrs. Edwards was always an ass anyway. I decided instead of going to class , I could always do what I am being trained to do.

Spy. So, I did.

I walked quietly to a vent that lead to the Principal's Office and climbed in. She was just dismissing them. And- are they going to go on with the rescue mission?! OMG YES!! I quickly got out very quietly and ran to my dorm. I grabbed my phone while it was charging on the night stand next to my bed and dialed a number that I had to remember. The person answered a couple rings later.

"Ms. Reynolds this better be important. I'm quite busy at the current moment." He scolded me. Geez man take a chill pill. God.

"It is sir. I have Intel that the group has the go ahead from the Head Mistress in proceeding with their rescue mission." I looked out the window as I saw the van head out of the schools' gates. "They just left the school gates and will be over there soon."

He's going to be so happy.

Who do you think Brittney is talking to? What do you think she's even up to? This girl is getting pretty sneaky right now. The gang though accepted Niall into the group and they are all going to get Ariella :D Even though she is no longer there..
