"Liam & June sittin' on a tree they are K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" Niall and Emily harmonized as they sang and laughed at the end. "Oh, cut it out you two!" June blushed. "Sooooo...are you two dating now?!" Emily asked nudging June in the ribs. "Well, I don't recall a proposal yet." June lifted an eyebrow at Liam, " You haven't-" Niall stopped himself and just shook his head in disapproval. Emily and June laughed at Niall's frowny face at Liam "Alright, alright, June will you go out with me?" Liam finally asked casually. "Go out with you where, Liam?" June asked naively, really knowing what he meant. Liam laughed at her response. "Will you be my girlfriend?"
"No." She responded casually.
"Great-wait, what?! Did you just say 'no' ?" Liam asked shocked, but then concerned.
"Well, first you make a big deal about it, then you just ask me all obviously! Where's the excitement?! Where's the romance?!" June looked like a movie director asking for more emotion to the actors.
David came in to the balcony and said quickly "Oh, there you are! We're going to play in like 2 minutes, HURRY UP!" he signaled June out the door.
June followed David through the crowd of people in the dance floor and made it to stage, "Wait, what song are we playing again?" before David could answer the spotlight blinded June; she squinted under the light, which made everyone laugh. June's confidence went down the drain when she heard laughing. They had never played in front of such a big audience before and she had a sick feeling in her stomach.

A familiar tone started playing, June finally recognized it, it was the song she first wrote with David 5 months ago. The song that started it all, came back and gave her the confidence she lacked that moment. David smiled at her as if he knew what she was feeling. Bring Me The Night was the name of the first song that started it all.

"Alright, so what should we write about?" David sat down next to the piano in June's living room.
"Well, we obviously need to write a love song." June said bored as she held a notebook with a pencil. David then thought about something and got up and sat on the piano bench and started playing a melody at the beginning. He suddenly stopped as if he couldn't remember what was next. "Whoa, I didn't know you could play the piano!" June said surprised. "What song was that, that you were playing there?" She continued.
"I don't really know, I know you're going to think I'm crazy when I tell you this but I heard it in a dream of mine. I've been trying to decipher the notes and I think I finally cracked it today!" He said like he couldn't believe it himself.
"Well, I don't think you're crazy sometimes the best way of inspiration comes from literal dreams or just daydreams. With that said how about we add some more cords to that!" June dropped her notebook and pencil; got off the couch; and ran to her room, she came back with a guitar and started playing a similar melody to David's. " You play the guitar?!"
"Surprise, surprise!" June laughed.
"Wait let's not get ahead of us, first lets write the music for the melody and then focus on the lyrics." David suggested. June nodded.

David started singing

Both they singed

"that brings me to you.." June sang alone.

They continued singing the song and received many applause in the end, when June got down from the stage she walked over to David who was putting away the equipment with some other guys said "Why did you choose this song?"
"Why not? That's how you and I felt 5 months ago, you with Liam and me with Annie." He replied and went back to rolling up a cord.
June blushed when she realized even then it was obvious she liked Liam. She left David to finish up, and sat on the same bench she started at for a minute remembering, how David fell hard for Annie. She then moved to Florida and had to break it up because the long distance relationship didn't work so well. Poor David.

"Hey, you! There you are!" Emily sat down and hugged her. Liam and Niall came too after Emily.
"Emily tells me that, that song gave you guys an A+ on that assignment." Liam finally said sitting on the other side of June. Emily got up and left with Niall to the refreshments stand and started playing with the punch.
"Yeah, I remember people then telling us it was a 'cute song' and it was but it was kinda sad, for both David and me... He had a long distance relationship with a girl named Annie but it didn't work out. As for me, well..."June stopped herself before she said the truth which was him.
" 'well' what? What were you going to say?" Liam asked.
"You know what, never mind let's move on!" June said upbeat.

It's been a while since I wrote something so, I'm sorry I guess I should organize myself more! Anyways, the song I'm referring to is Bring Me the Night - Sam Tsui & Kina Grannis if you wanna hear the whole song, I don't know, go to YouTube or something! Think and solve my friend!
