Love goes On

Liam made a call to Niall at 8pm "Niall! I need your help! Can you come to Minnesota a soon as possible?" "Who's this?" Niall asked dazed. "IT'S LIAM PAYNE! WAKE UP!" Liam yelled. "Nah, still not clicking." Niall teased. "Very funny, Niall! Seriously now, I need you to come to Minnesota. I need a favor." Liam said seriously "Alright, what's in it for me?" Niall asked. "That's why I said favor!" Liam explained. "Mmmm...Let me think about it." Niall said, which usually meant no. Liam had to think fast, so he resorted to lying. "Alright, I just thought you should know that Prom is going to be tomorrow for June and Emily." Liam said hoping Niall would ask something.
"So what?" Niall asked carelessly. "In Prom, girls typically get asked out by guys for the night, Emily has had a lot of offers but still hasn't answered to any." Liam said trying to get Niall jealous he remembered the two love birds hitting it off back 5 months ago. "So what?! I don't care! She can go out with whoever she wants." Niall said defensively, Liam could already sense his jealousy rising. Good. Just a little more fake information and Niall would be here tomorrow. "Well...you should care. Typically, things get exciting after Prom if you know what I mean!" Liam said trying so hard to convince Niall.
"What do you mean exciting?" Niall asked concerned. "Girls and guys lose their virginity, sort of exciting. BUT, who cares right? No biggy! Emily's problem will be taken care of after Prom." There was an awkward silence in between, if Niall didn't come after that information he was never coming.
"So, you wouldn't happen to know when the next flight to from Ireland to Minnesota is, would you?" Niall asked. "Thanks, Nialler! Your the best! Now if we can get Zayn, Louis, and Harry on board we would be good." Liam planned. "Umm...I don't think Louis is coming, he is on vacation with Eleanor, and Harry won't come if Louis isn't coming. As for Zayn, well..let's just say he's in the dog house with Perrie and won't be leaving her anytime soon. I heard they were watching Lux for Lou while she went for a 2nd honeymoon with her husband. They are training for when they do have kids." Niall informed Liam.
Liam let the information sink in. "Hey, would you give me Emily's phone number I have a few things to discuss with her." Liam randomly asked. Niall gave him the phone number and ended their call.

"Emily? It's Liam can I ask you some things? Are you too busy?" Liam asked on the phone. Emily yawned and answered. "Yeah, sure! Before that though, who gave you my number?" Emily was getting ready for bed, she needed all the beauty sleep she could get, she was gonna get dolled up for Prom the next day with June and the rest of the gang. "Oh, Niall gave it to me-" "-Of course he did!" Emily interrupted. "Anyway, I know Prom is tomorrow from what June told me sooo..It got me thinking-" "You just want an excuse to go to Prom don't you" Emily guessed with a monotone voice. "Well, actually- Who am I kidding! Yeah, I do! Any ideas?" Liam asked. "Well, lucky for you I'm in the school council, and lucky for you I got stuck with providing the music for Prom, and lucky for you I procrastinated it until the last second as usual, " Emily caught her breath and continued."SOOO...isn't making music what you do for a living? There you go! I just solved both of our problems! Thank you Emily!" Emily said proudly as she finished her conclusion.
"Wait, you're in the school council and you procrastinate things?" Liam asked a random question. "Don't judge me! Everyone has their flaws!" Emily said defensively. "No, that's not what I meant..it's just that..you don't look like the kind to procrastinate things. To top that you're in the school council which makes people assume that you are a responsible student."
"Guys are such idiots," Emily murmured to herself. "I HEARD THAT!" Liam announced. "GOOD! THAT MEANS YOU HAVE GOOD HEARING!" After that they both started laughing, Liam like Emily just not in a romantic sort of way. He could see why June liked her and so did Niall. She was just a fun person to have around along with her parents who had the same personality.
"Anyway, after that stupid answer, care to ask any more stupid questions?" Emily teased. "Do you think..that I have-"
"A chance with June? MEN, why are guys so stupid to not take a hint?! June is crazy for you! She is just to...shy. That's right! You heard me right! She is shy! Hard to believe, but yeah." "Well, thanks for that info, but I meant to ask if I had enough time for Niall to get here on time for Prom? But again! Thanks for the info!" Liam said grateful.
"WAIT! DID YOU SAY NIALLER IS COMING?!" Emily said excitedly. "Oh, no! what did I say?!" Liam thought.
"Yeah, but anyways, when is Prom again?" Liam asked since they had made all this plans, without knowing the time it would be in vain. "Oh, God yeah, this would be all in vain if you didn't know when to show up. It's going to be at 7pm. Until 10pm and no later than that otherwise adults don't trust us! I wouldn't blame them! I have some idiots for classmates." Emily admitted.

They ended their call and Liam got ready for bed, as he got in bed in his boxers his phone buzzed when he received a text. He read it and it was from June "oh, by the way thx 4 the bouquet! It was lovely!:)" He stared at it for 2 minutes and let it sink in until he responded "ur certainly welcome;)" He couldn't wait until tomorrow and see the surprised look on her face when he showed up for Prom!
