Behind The Backstage Doors

Back and forth

"Okay mum, but I'm really tired so what if we just talk tomorrow," Alison told her mum on the phone and rubbed her forehead. Her mum was really annoying sometimes when she talked too much.

"Oh I'm sorry darling! Am I tiring you once again," she laughed making Alison smile lightly. She was still happy they get on again after her teenage years when she was always fighting with her. They had a better relationship now.

"No mum I just had a rough day and the king sized bed looks so inviting after the nights I've slept in the bus," she said and her mum laughed loudly. Finally after managing to hung up with her mum she got on the bed. She curled under the blankets and closed her eyes.

But after half an hour twisting and turning she groaned loudly and jumped off the bed. She just couldn't sleep when she had millions of thoughts running in her mind. She sat on the edge, rubbing her tired eyes. She didn't know what else to do so she made her way in the bathroom to wash her face.

She stared at her reflection in the mirror. She hated her eye bags that were probably due working late at the bar. She had quit working there right when she was called by the tour manager for the job though.

She dried her face and then picked her mascara giving her lashes volume. She felt slightly better after adding a little make up and smiling at her reflection then heading to her luggage to find something to wear.

She decided to put her black skinny jeans and a thin orange top with her favourite pair of heels that she had taken with her on the tour. She checked herself from the mirror one last time, doing a bit of dancing but no matter how much she tried she didn't really feel sexy at all. She tried to push the bad thoughts of her mind and grabbed her purse before heading out of her hotel room.

Alison walked down the stairs in the lobby. The hotel seemed quiet but when she walked down the hallway towards the bar she could hear more people. She stepped in the room and there was quite a few people enjoying the night. She started to feel better. Maybe she could get lucky tonight.

She smiled at some men as she made her way towards the counter, ordering her drink. She scanned the room with her eyes while sipping her drink, recognizing a few people from the crew and waving her hand. But her increasing mood was quickly shifted when she saw the certain man sitting alone in the back.

She placed her drink on the desk annoyed, causing it to spill a little. She stood up glancing at him but he was still staring at his drink so he hadn't seen her. That was good. She didn't want him to see her so she tried to sneak out of the bar through the growd of people. Just when she got in the hallway and thought she had managed to get away without him seeing her she felt a tug on her wrist.

"Hey wait," she heard his voice and turned around putting a bored expression on her face. His eyes looked a little heavy so she thought he had had a few drinks already.

When he didn't say anything, just stared at her keeping a hold on her wrist still, she opened her mouth. "What?" she spat, jerking her hand away from his grip.

"Can we have a chat?" he asked but she rolled her eyes.

"You always want to have a chat but it never leads anywhere so what's the point?" she asked. He leaned against the wall and pinched the skin between his brows. Suddenly he looked exhausted in her eyes.

"Besides you're drunk," she added then turning on her heels.

"I'm not that drunk!" he said irritated. He saw her walking away so he followed her but in the lobby he stopped her again by taking her hand and turning her towards him.

She refused to look at him and he frowned his brows. "Have you thought about my suggestion?" he asked quietly.

"Your suggestion?" she whisper yelled narrowing her eyes at him.

"Yeah, you know when we..." he started to talk but she cut him off.

"I know what you fucking mean," she said harshly causing him to jump a little. They fell in silence for a while and he studied her face. She looked really irritated but still he thought he had a tiny chance to get her to oblige.

"So?" he asked carefully and she turned her gaze to him rolling her eyes. She didn't say anything as she walked away from him in the stairs. He smirked to himself. He saw her as a challenge now and he couldn't think anything else but to get her.

She heard his steps following her up the stairs and when she got behind her door she turned around. He was smirking at her which irritated her even more and she gave him a glare.

"Could you stop following me?" she didn't know what else to say so she said the first thing that came to her mind.

"Hmm... no. Cause I know you sercetly love it," he winked while stepping closer to her. She tried to keep her expression straight but couldn't help a light smile forming to her lips.

She tensed when she felt his fingers touching her arm but when he started to draw patterns to her skin absently she relaxed. He looked to be deep in thought as he stared at her but she didn't catch his gaze.

"I couldn't sleep," he whispered after a while then realizing what he was doing with his fingers and dropping his hand to his side.

"Then there's two of us," she admitted quietly but he didn't hear her.

"So I wanted to get wasted and went to the bar but then you luckily walked in..." he stopped for a moment to smile at her. "...'Cause the next day would've been terrible. And I shouldn't drink really."

They stood there looking at each other and when she realized that she was staring at him she quickly turned her eyes away.

"So... what should we do?" she could hear the smirk in his voice even thought she was looking at the ground.

"The others are watching football," he said and she knew what he was thinking. He was telling her that the coast was clear and no one was going to interrupt them.

He placed his hands on her small shoulders and tried to catch her eyes. Suddenly she just didn't care anymore as she raised her head meeting his eyes briefly. He seemed to know what was in her mind as he crashed his lips to hers. She closed her eyes and felt his cracked lips anxiously kissing hers. She could taste the alcohol in his mouth and she felt like his actions were intoxicating her. His hands roamed in her back to her hips as she tugged his neck curls.

He broke the kiss to get some air. "Umh... we shouldn't do this in the corridor where everyone could catch us," he said, placing his other hand to her cheek and tracing his thumb on her lips like if he was testing she was real. She felt a shiver running down her spine at his touch and she closed her eyes nodding.

She walked to her door and picked her keys from her pocket. Her hands were shaking so it took a little before she managed to open the door. As soon as they got inside the hotel room he pulled her closer, connecting his lips to her neck. Her breath caught in her throat at the feeling of his lips on her skin. He sucked under her ear making sure he left a mark.

She pulled him by his belt towards the wall so her back was against it. She grinned widely when he almost lost his balance but then got some support of the wall. "Getting violent eh?" he chuckled shaking his head. She grabbed his chin with her fingers then pressing her lips to his again. She wiped her tongue on his lower lip causing him to groan. He rested his other hand on the wall while his other was soothing the skin under her shirt on her hip.

"Alison," he panted between the kisses. She knew how wrong it was, to kiss him like that, but she just couldn't stop. Something about him was pulling her to him and she didn't care about the past anymore. All she knew was the moment and that he was there with her and she didn't feel so lonely anymore.

Suddenly he pulled back leaving her stunned. They stared at each other for a while, trying to catch their breaths.

"Are you sure this is okay?" he asked quietly. His eyes were full of concern when he stared at her trying to study her face.

She looked away from him and tried to clear her head but it was hard when his hands were on her hips and his breath was brushing her skin. She closed her eyes and breathed slowly a few times before looking at him again and nodding.

He smirked before slowly closing the space between their lips. This time he was taking his time and his movements weren't that anxious. His lips felt softer and she opened her mouth for him to explore. She was so lost in the kiss that she didn't realize they were moving towards the bed before her legs touched the edge.

She broke the kiss and pulled him by his collar with her on the bed. They laughed when they fell on the mattress and she crawled on top of him, straddling him.

Alison could see Harry's eyes shining in the dim light when she stopped for a moment to look at him. He smiled at her while sneaking his hands under her shirt to her back. He just couldn't believe they were there together again.

But just when she was closing the space between their lips his phone went off in his pocket.
"Shit," he cursed as he started to dig his phone. Alison moved next to him on the bed as he sat up and answered the call.

"This better be something important, Niall. I'm in the middle of something," he said angrily. There was a long pause and she could hear Niall rambling about something on the other end.

"I said I'm in the middle of something!" he cut Niall off rudely. "I don't care. Call Louis or something bye," he ended the call and run his fingers in his hair frustrated.

"That wasn't nice," Alison said as she sat next to him and fixed her shirt.

"Erm yeah. Niall wanted me to watch football with him or whatever," Harry placed his phone on the night stand and then turned to her again.

She could sense the tension between the two of them now. Suddenly she felt somewhat exposed under his observing gaze and she turned her eyes on her hands.

"So... Where were we?" he said a little awkwardly and moved closer to her.

"Maybe it's better if you just go to Niall's room," she said, standing up quickly. Her back was towards him but she could feel his eyes on her and heard him getting up also. He didn't say anything when he walked to the door and opened it.

"See you tomorrow then?" he said it more as a question but she didn't say anything just stared on the floor. He sighed heavily before stepping outside and closing the door after him.

She couldn't understand what had just happened. One moment they were kissing and the next he was out of the door. But she was relieved that Niall had interrupted them. She really needed to clear her head. Suddenly she felt extremely exhausted so she quickly got undressed and jumped on the bed. She fell asleep quickly, her dreams including the confusing curly haired man.
