Behind The Backstage Doors

Just a little fun

A few days past by and the team was in the Netherlands now. Alison was already tired of sleeping in the bus but she tried her best not to show it. She couldn't wait to get in Germany where they all would be sleeping in hotels.

Last night they had had a concert in Belgium. She had enjoyed watching and photographing them in the both shows she had been now. She couldn't help but dance and sing along with the fans. The magic of One Direction rubbing off on her too.

Alison had been trying to avoid Harry but it was hard when they were sharing the same bus. His mood has seemed to change completely as he kept giving her grins and she found herself getting more and more irritated with him.

"Shit," she was waken of her thoughts when she turned around and almost walked into any other than Harry, dropping her plate on the floor in the process. Her face turned red as she kneeled on the ground to clean up the mess.

"Oops, let me help you," he offered, kneeling next to her and even though she didn't look at him she knew he was grinning widely.

"I don't need your help," she hissed, picking a towel from the kitchen table. She gathered the vegetables she had been about to eat on the plate and then tried to wipe the floor just managing to make a bigger mess.

"Alison," she heard Harry sighing as he took the towel from her. She stood up and watched as he cleaned the floor.

"Everyone's outside," he said and she nodded even though she didn't know why he was telling her this.

"So..." he continued as he finished the cleaning and stood up, throwing the food in the bin.

"So?" Alison frowned as she watched his doings. Maybe she should just go outside too to find some cafeteria instead of spending time in the bus when Harry was there too.

"We should talk when there's no one around," he said and she was just opening her mouth to protest but he cut her off. "But first I'm gonna make you a new salad."

She fell in silence as he grinned at her, picking some vegetables from the small fridge. What he wanted to talk about? She thought they had already talked enough about their past and she didn't want to bring it out again.

"There's nothing to talk about," she opened her mouth after minutes of silence. Harry didn't respond, just continued making her salad. Why was he being nice to her?

"Please, sit down ma'am," he said as he served the plate on the table. She didn't look at him when she sat down and heard him chuckling.

"Not a thank you?" he said amused as he sat across her. She gave him a warning look but mumbled a thank you anyway.

He watched her as she ate. She had changed a lot in just two years, her hair much longer and dyed blonde. He could see she had lost weight, her hips wasn't that feminine anymore and her collarbones were more visible. He had admired her curvy body but now she looked like a ghost with her pale face. She tried to look stronger than she really was but he saw right through her. After all he still found her the most beautiful woman he had seen.

"What're you staring at?" she asked suddenly, raising her brow. He was snapped out of his thoughts back to this day by her question. It made him a little sad to think that they were sitting across each other but still it seemed like they were miles away.

"Erm sorry," he gave her a small smile and shrugged his shoulders. She shook her head and smirked to herself. He frantically tried to make up something to say to change the subject. "You don't eat much," he blurted out and wanted to slap himself right after saying it.

She dropped her fork on the plate and looked at him. "So? None of your business I guess," she said.

"Well... I just thought maybe you should eat a bit more... You know... The days are long and if you don't eat enough you're gonna starve yourself," with each word coming out of his mouth he wanted to dig a deeper hole on the ground for him to hide. Sometimes his mouth and mind wasn't working together.

"You know what. You can keep your salad," she said, standing up.

"No, no, no! Alison, please sit down. I'm stupid," he begged.

"If you just wanted to talk about my eating habits you can forget about it," she picked her bag on the floor but he was quick to take a hold on her wrist.

"Please, don't go. That wasn't what I wanted to talk about. Just finish your food," he looked at her and she sighed out and nodded her head. She couldn't help but be a little curious about what he had to say. So she sat down and finished her food with no other words.

He leaned against the counter, watching her as she washed her dishes. When she was ready she turned around to face him. She waited for him to say something but when he didn't, she opened her mouth. "So...?"

"I think we both know this isn't going to work," he said out of nowhere, leaving her speechless for a while. "You want me to quit?"

"No, I just don't know how we're gonna make this work," she knew what he meant by saying that. She remembered their fighting when they were still together. When she had made up with him and they had tried to be just friends but it hadn't worked. We can't be just friends. It just doesn't work between us. It's like all or nothing. She could remember his words so clearly.

"This time we just had to make it work. I just keep out of your way and we'll be fine," she wasn't sure if she even believed her own words.

"No! I mean... This tour is gonna be like hell if we keep hating each other."

"What do you want me to do? Act like nothing has never happened and be your best friend?" she felt her anger bubbling inside her.

He stepped a little closer and she crossed her arms, looking at him furiously. She felt confused when he gave her a mischievous smile. Why was he grinning at her?

"I have a suggestion for you," he said and she felt even more confused. "We don't need to be friends but we don't need to hate each other either," even though she tried to keep her angry position, he could see how confused she was. Her small frame didn't look really threatening to him, she just made him amused.

"What's so funny?" she asked annoyed. He had to look away to compose himself before continuing. "Nothing. I'm just saying that instead of hating each other, we should forget about everything and just have a bit of fun," he could see she didn't know what he meant by that so he decided to show her.

"Look... If I come this close," he said, pushing her gently against the wall and leaning his arm next to her head. Her breath caught in her throat by his sudden movement but she tried to act like he didn't affect her at all. She raised her eyebrow and glared at him angrily but her mouth couldn't form any words.

"If I touch your skin with my fingers," he continued, placing his other hand on the exposed skin on her hip. It sent shivers down her spine and she tried to think anything else but how close he was to her. He wanted to prove his point and he knew she was going to give up eventually. He could already see how flustered she was.

"If I put my lips on your skin," he whispered to her ear. She felt his smirk against her skin just under her ear and her eyes fluttered closed. Her mind was screaming to push him away but her legs didn't seem to work. She was frozen on her spot and all she could think was how good it felt to have him so close after a long time.

He felt her body relaxing and he sighed out, closing his eyes. He pressed himself tighter against her and she gasped for air. "If I kiss you," he whispered so quiet that he wasn't sure if she had heard him. He started to move his lips softly on her jaw closer and closer to her lips. He cupped her face with his hand while the other was soothing the skin on her hip. For a moment she completely forgot everything and just concentrated having him so close.

He kissed her cheek gently then leaning back a little to look at her eyes. Her expression was unreadable but she wasn't pushing him away so he closed his eyes again and leaned close. His nose was brushing hers when she took a few breaths before he tilted his head on the side. He didn't want to show his eagerness so he swallowed once before placing his lips gently on hers.

"No," she breathed quietly. Suddenly she remembered her conversations with Niall and the manager. She couldn't do this. If someone found out she'd be fired from the job. But Harry thought Alison was just answering the kiss when she moved her lips and he couldn't help himself anymore. He kissed her anxiously, tugging her hair with his fingers. It surprised her and she found herself kissing back. She placed her hands on his neck, pulling him even closer. She didn't realize what she was doing not until she heard him groaning.

"No!" she cried out as she pushed him away, leaving him stunned. She couldn't do anything but stare at him with wide eyes. He looked really confused with his swollen lips agape. "I thought you... You wanted it," he said.

"But we can't," her words sounded desperate and she turned her gaze on the floor. Her mind was full of mixed feelings and she didn't know what to do.

"No one's gonna find out if that's what you're scared," he tried to sound convincing. He wanted to touch her but he knew he'd frighten her away if he stepped closer.

She felt torn between wanting him and doing what was right. I want you to stay away from him. Niall's words came to her mind and she shook her head.

"We can't, Harry. We just can't," she said. His heart sank in his chest. She just couldn't turn him down after kissing him like that.

"It'd be just a little fun. No harm and no one gets hurt," he heard himself begging. God, when was the last time he had begged a girl? Just then they heard the door opening and people coming inside.

"Are you awake, sleepy asses?" Louis yelled.

"Conversation over," she hissed between her teeth to him before the four other boys came in the back of the bus.

"Anything worth mentioning happened hereee?" Niall asked when they all barged on the coach.

"Nothing, absolutely nothing," Alison said while looking at Harry. He gave her a glare before walking out of the bus.

"He's in a mood again," Liam shrugged it off. The boys started to chat and Alison joined in the conversation to brush off Harry in her mind.
