26.

The rest of the day was pretty laid back.
Once me, and Harry had gone downstairs we dropped the subject of Carson's crush completely and talked about our normal chatter, the chatter with no defined topic. While we talked we both munched on a bowl of cheeto puffs Maddie had so kindly left out for us.
Finally though as everyday goes, I had to go home, do homework, and sleep for I hadn't gotten much the night before. After I had gotten on my shoes, and jacket Harry had grabbed my waist and gave me a sweet peck goodbye before slipping his phone number in my back pocket.
The cheeky arse.
I did have a nice time though, but when I left the pain of Carson ending the friednship, and Scruff dying all swept back in. It was unbelievable how much had happened in the past twenty-four hours.
Now, right now I was sitting in my desk tapping my pencils on the corners in a rhythemical beat, while Harry announced tonight's homework.
The day had gone by slowly, my morning classes were a bore, well all of them except my theater class which was always fun, but other then that the only thing I could think about was when I would get to see Harry.
The boy had been consumed in every thought, breath, and action I had done in the past fourty-eight hours. Sometimes my mind would be distracted for a moment, and all thoughts of him would take a nap, but the moment I dozed off all I could think about was him.
His ever so changing green eyes, thick choclate covered curls, perfect plump pink lips, the way his body flexed when he moved, how deep yet soothing his voice was, and just basically everything!
Was this love? Never having the ability to remove the person from your mind? Always wondering what would happen next time you saw them? Getting excited yet nervous when you were about to see them? It really was an importent manner to question.
Though as time has told, love cannot be defined, it can only be born between two beating hearts. I think the most fasinating thing about it is that I could see his flaws, the faint traces of acne peppered on his skin, the scar across his chest and stomach, his temper, how easily jealous he could become, yet even with all that I found him flawless.
Flaws make us human not define who we are. He was definately human, or was he alien? Probably not.
Actually this morning there had been only one unboring thing, Harry came by my apartment, and drove me to school this morning, but had been quiet in the car while I resting my feet on the dashboard, because we were both tired.
I hadn't been expecting him to show up this morning, but I found it thoughtfull he had made the offer, even though he said I had no choice. I guess that was the dominent side of his speaking again.
"Okay, and that'll wrap it up! Class dismissed." He called out, a moment before the bell rang, and everyone scarmbled up, grabbing their things quickly, before fleeing. "I guess I don't have to stay after?" I tease, walking over to him after the last kid had cleared out, and he laughed before wrapping his arms around my neck and pulling me into a tight hug, which I returned by holding his waist close.
"I missed you." He breathed in my ear, and I giggled. Yes giggled, if he's aloud to then so am I. Boys giggle to. "You saw me this morning Romeo." I comment, standing on my tipy toes so I could rest my chin on his shoulder.
"Yes, but parting is such sweet sorrow." He mumbles, and we both grin in union as I pull out of the hug, and he pecks my lips. "Mmm, what did you have for lunch?" He inquires, licking his lips, and I shrug.
"Tuna or something." I say, and he laughs as he kisses my forehead then pulls off his tie. "So you want to come over again? Or is that a no go?" He asks, so much hope and eagerness laced in his tone. How could I possibly deny?
"Sure, maybe you could lend me hand with homework?" I ask, adjusting my back pack so the weight was evened out. "Of course! Wouldn't want you to fail now would we." He says, closing his suitcase, and stretching as he picked it up. "I'll drive you home tonight." He informs, and I nod as I bite my lip and he smiles softly before drapping an arm around my shoudlers.
"Unless you want to stay the night?" He suggests, but I shake my head. It wasn't that I didn't want to it was just I didn't feel ready to spend a night with him, even though he had already spent the night with me.
"I understand." He pouts, obviously disappointed at my answer, but said nothing else as he pressed his lips to my cheek, and then gestured for me to follow him. "If anyone asks, just say your heading out to your car." He says, shutting, and locking the classroom door behind us.
"I doubt anyone will ask, or care." I point out, for it was the truth. All of my classmates had cleared by now, Carson had been a no show today, unless he transfered to a different class, and most of the teachers were either downing coffee in the lounge, or working on paper work in their classroom's.
"True." And with that we were both quiet. Our shoes made the occasional squeak on the marble floor, and one of us would dare to glance at the other, or we would both share a look. Once we had gotten outside I exhaled deeply, and stretched before swerving to the left to catch up to Harry who had kept walking in the direction of his might fine car.
"Do you like wearing ties?" I suddenly found myself asking, as he unlocked the car then opened my door for me. "Depends on the occasion." He informs, shutting my door once I was inside, and I placed my feet up on the dashboard.
"So most of the time you don't?" I ask, and he shrugs as he gets in, buckles up, and starts the car before peeling out of the parking lot, and into the stream of student's cars, which were all rushing out.
"So I see Carson was a no show again." He comments after turning on the heat, and I bite my lip. "Yeah, I guess he switched classes or something." I say, shrugging. "I doubt it because he's still on my list of students. If he had transfered I would have gotten a notice an hour after." He says, flicking his hair out of his face as he pulls onto the highway.
"Okay, then he's probably avoiding me." I mumble, and Harry sighs as he rests a hand on my knee before giving it a gentle squeeze. "He probably just needs some time to cool off." He assures, and I shrug once more, resting my head on the cool glass of the window.
Harry must've brought up Carson because he still saw him as a threat, and probably wanted to make sure nothing bad was going on, which it wasn't. Carson was probably beyond angry, because why skip class and block my number? I mean it was unbelievably drastic.
Then a frown appeared on my face as I remembered one of the texts he sent me, the one concerning Harry telling him to get lost.
"Harry?" I say, shifting positions to look at him, and he glances to the side at me briefly before looking back to the road. "Yes Louis?" He asks, his tone calm and sweet, like he was ready to hear anything I had to say, while rubbing my knee with his thumb.
"Why didn't Carson show up with you the night S-Scruff died?" I ask, hoping Harry would come clean, if it was true, before attempting to interogate him about it. "I don't know." He says, and I sigh. "Carson told me that you told him to get out there, and to leave the property or you would beat him up." I inform softly.
The car then becomes quiet as Harry processes my words, and his hand moves from my knee and back to the steering wheel. "Is that all he said?" He asks, his voice low, and eyes growing dark, the way they did when he was getting angry or already angered.
"Yes, is it true?" I ask, and Harry inhales deeply before swurving to the right, causing my body to hit the door, and he pulls off the road before parking at the side. "Harry!'' I exclaim, "You could've gotten us killed!" He paid no heed to my words though as he sat back in his seat, and ran his hands down his face before brushing them through his hair.
"Don't tell me you believe that load of bull?" He inquires, and I swallow. Did I believe it? I mean I wouldn't be surprised, yet then again it didn't really add up. "No." I conclude, slouching in my seat as he nodded curtly.
"He obviously is lying to try and cause problems." He points out before twisting his large body to look at my smaller, throbbing, one.
"Here's what really happened. First we went to my house, and got the song. Then we went to the park to pick up your car, which he drove back to your apartment. Then when we got to the apartment he told me he had to go, jumped in his car, and peeled off. That's what happened."
At the story I let out a sigh of relief. I think deep down inside I had known it wasn't true, but had been to naive to side with either of them.
"Louis, he was your best friend. I would never disrespect someone you cared about, I rather stay on your good side." He quickly adds, pinching my cheek softly, and I laugh before swatting his hand away. ''Okay, sorry. I just thought it was an important thing to mention." I appoligize, and a small smile appears on his face before he starts the car back up, and peels back onto the road with out getting us killed.
The rest of the ride home we were nice, and quiet. Not a peep from either of us. I think the only sound we made was our breathing, nad the shuffling of his hand over the fabric of my jeans while he rubbed my knee.
Once we had pulled up to the house, he parked as physically possible close to the front door, and turned off the engine. "C'mon, I have a few things planned for today." He informs, and I nod curiously as we both get out and he locks the car.
"What kind of things?" I ask, and he shrugs. "Oh you know, fun things." He says, emphazing the word fun with a smirk, a smirk that made me shiver. He had that effect of people. "Hello Harry, Louis!'' Maddie greeted when we walked throught the front door, and Harry kissed her head.
"Hello Maddie, is dinner ready?" He ask, and she giggled shoving the grinning boy away. "It will be in an hour love, we're having lasanga tonight." She informs before ruffling my hair, and walking into the kitchen. I was growing really fond of Maddie, she was a sweetheart, and a good cook.
Harry seemed fond of her to, he always seemed to treat her like a sister. He was bantering with her last night in the kitchen, and she always seemed to baby him. Though she spared no expanse for me. She always took good care of me when I came over to. It was sweet. She was definately worth whatever Harry was paying her.
"Maddie is sweet." I comment, as we both shove our shoes aside, and race up the stairs, me shoving him playfully along the way. "She is! She's a really good friend of mine, she's been by my side through alot." He says, as we both stop to catch our breath at the begining of the hall, before walking side by side down it.
"Did you meet her in school?" I ask, and he laughs nudging my shoulder. "No babe, I met her while I was in collage. But that's a story I'll save for later." He says, stopping at the bathroom, and opening the door before tossing in his overshirt, just leaving him in the white under one that showed off his muscles, and dark lined tattoo's.
I was growing fond of those tattoo's.
While he did all that, I glanced down the hall, and my gaze fell onto the room with the two, big, red doors. It looked like it led to a ballroom or something. Yet I doubted it, because by Harry's tone I could tell there was something more unique behind those doors.
"Whatcha staring at?" Harry asks, his hand clamping down on my shoudler, as the other turns off the bathroom light. "Those two big doors, you didn't tell me what they were to. You said you would." I remind, and his face goes blank for a moment before he smirks.
"You sure you want to see that room? You might not come out of it." He says, his tone playful but a dash of seriousness behind it. "Yes I'm sure I want to see that room." I plead, and he laughs as he sticks his hand in his pocket and pulls out the ring of keys.
"Then my dear Louis, the room is what you shall see." He says, brushing past me, and I swallow as I follow him down to the doors. "I've got to keep these bad boys locked, especially when I have company, but you aren't company. Your Louis." He informs, and I chuckle as I linger behind him, watching him unlock the doors.
"Louis Tomlinson, welcome to my playroom!'' He announces, throwing the doors open, and steps aside so I could step in. At first I had seriously been expecting a room filled with toys, and all that stuff but it was so far from that it would make an old man cry.
There was a giant bed, draped in red curtains, and a red blanket. The couch was made of black leather, and there was a giant old fashion looking closet in the corner, the closet bared a lock to. "I don't get it, why is it called a playroom? It looks like a bedroom?'' I point out, and Harry leans in the door way with a raised eyebrow.
"You've read Fifty Shades Of Grey, no?" He asks, and I bite my lip shaking my head. I had heard about the book, but never took any interest in reading it. "This is an almost exact replica of his 'Red Room Of Pain', with minor changes for my own purposes." He informs, and I shake my head still confused, as I begin to walk around the large room, notting there was a giant pole off to the side.
"Oh, it's a stripper room?'' I ask, and Harry facepalms himself. "No Tommo! It's a sex room, for kinky sex." He says, and I feel my eyes widden as I bit my cheek and looked back to the room then back to him. "You have a sex room?" I ask, and he nods smirking. I should've seen this one coming. Of course he had one! It just, suit him.
"Well it's..ermm..nice?" I say, unsure of what else to do. "It has it's pleasures, but it's a pain to clean. If you know what I mean?" He says, gesturing for me to come back over to him, which I did. "How long have you had it?" I ask, as he ushers me out of the room, and locks the doors behind us.
"About a year or so. It's convinent when your partner is misbehaving." He comments, glancing at me with those eyes. I see what he did there. "Cute." I simply say, and he gives me an innocent smile before pointing down the hall.
"Let's go to my room." He says, and I nod as we both begin to walk down to the hall, then into his bedroom. "So does Maddie know about the playroom?" I ask, and he nods. "Yes, but she told me that's the only room she won't clean, and I'm okay with that. It hardly gets used anyways." He says, sitting down on his bed as I begin to scan all the music sheets spread out on his desk.
"Makes sense." I mumble, picking one of them up and scanning it over, while biting my lip. He must've written these notes himself, because they were all penciled out. I could almost imagine their sweet sound in my head.
"You know how to read sheet music?" He asks, standing up and walking behind me before wrapping his arms around my waist, and resting his chin on my head. "Yes, I'm in music class. When I'm a drama teacher I want to teach music as well." I say, and he kisses my head.
''You like music to?" He asks, and I nod as he pulls away from me and grabs my hand, lacing his fingers through mine. "Then I have something you might like." He says, pulling on my arm to gesture for me to follow him.
"What?" I ask, as we both walk out of the room and down the hall, passing a few doors before stopped at a dark blue one. "Louis, the music room." He announces, opening the door, and a wide grin broke out on my face.
The room was perfect. There was a giant, grand piano in the center, and guitars of every kind lined up on the walls, and a huge drum kit was placed in the corner.
"This is amazing!' I exclaim, running over to the piano, and opening it before playing a few scales on the perfectly polished keys. "This sounds amazing!'' I state, smniling widely. This was by a long shot my favorite room in the house.
"I'm glad you like it, she's my baby." He says, walking in and running his hand over the piano, before sitting next to me on the bench, and kissing my temple. "Do you play?" He asks, and I shrug.
"Sort of. My mum got me really into it when I was younger, but due to money issues the lesson's stopped when I was twelve. It kinda sticks with you though." I say, glancing to the side at him, before leaning against him.
"It does. I taught myself though, my parents wouldn't pay for lessons." He mumbles, and I look up at him with a sympathetic smile. Harry's story was horrible, to think this amazing boy had to go through all that made it hard to breath.
"Well sucks for them." I comment, looking around the room, and I notice a recording booth in the corner. "Is that how you record the songs?" I ask, pointing to it, and he nods. "I got that installed for those purposes."
He then sighed deeply, as he ran a hand through the hair on the back of my head. "Louis?" He asks, and I nod. "Yes Harry?" He then pulled away to look at me,
"Can I take you in the playroom? I want to try some stuff on you."
