Stole My Heart

I thought that my heart nearly leaped out of my chest.

"That would be amazing!" I said excitedly. "Can my friends come? They're big fans too."

"I don't see why not." Niall said, the smile still on his face.

"Great!" I said, "I'll be right back." I was already starting to skate in their direction.

When I reached them, I asked if they would like to meet One Direction, and they of course said yes simultaneously. We then skated over to the corner where the boys were waiting.

"Okay," I said, a bit light headed, "This is Nina, Sarah, and Heather." I gestured to each one of them as I said their name.

"Well Laurel, Nina, Sarah, and Heather, this is Liam, Louis, Harry, Zayn, and I am Niall." he said.

After we got through the formalities, Louis asked, "Would any of you lovely ladies care to skate with me?"

Heather, Louis being her favorite, automatically volunteered and they skated off. Liam being Sarah's favorite went with her, and Nina, who really didn't have a favorite went with both Harry and Zayn.

"Well," I said looking at them having a good time, "That went well."

"It sure did." Niall said.

Then he turned to me smiling, offered me his hand and asked, "Laurel, would you like to skate with me?"

I took his hand, smiled, and said, "Niall Horan, I would love to. Although I have to warn you I'm not very good! In fact, I'm more like terrible."

"Don't worry," he said reassuringly, "neither am I!"
