Stole My Heart

My friends moved away in another corner when the boys came back in. Niall headed straight for me and the others began talking. I could see that he had medical supplies for me in his hand.

When he reached me he set the stuff down and said, " All right, let's get that arm of yours taken care of."

I held out my arm while he got out the disinfecting spray (I've hated that stuff since I was a little kid). I quickly drew my arm back the second it made contact with my arm. "You okay?" he asked. I could see a spark of amusement in his eyes.

"Yeah, I'm good. Sorry about that." I said, a bit embarrassed.

He took out the medical tape, gauze, and a whole bunch of other stuff that I didn't know the names of. He carefully took my arm and gently wrapped it, asking me if it hurt at all.

I no longer felt any pain in it by the time Niall had finished. He put the medical stuff away.

"Oh, I'm Niall Horan of One Direction," he said offering me his hand. "And you are?"

" I thought you looked familiar. I'm a huge fan by the way. Oh, and my name's Laurel." I said, feeling stupid that I had forgotten to introduce myself.

He said my name out loud a couple of times before smiling and saying, "I like it. It sounds really nice."

"Thanks." I replied, not really knowing what to say.

"Well Laurel," he said with a huge grin on his face, "considering how you're a fan and I did kind of run you over, how would you like to meet the other guys?"
