Stole My Heart

“Happy?” I asked as I walked back into my room.

“Depends…” Sarah said. “What did they say?”

“Well, I told them and at first my dad was all like ‘no’. And then I was like ‘yeah’. And then my dad was like ‘maybe’. Then he walked away and my mom was like ‘I’ll convince him’… so yeah.” I stated recapping and flopping onto my bed.

“So you’re going then?” Heather asked excitedly.

“I don’t know…. I would say it’s likely. There’s a 60% chance that my dad will say yes.” I stated. “There’s only one problem.”

“And what’s that?” Sarah asked getting up.

“I have absolutely no idea whatsoever what to pack.” I said looking around at my stuff.

“Well that part’s easy. I just packed everything that I had – clothing-wise anyway. The other things I packed were like my phone, ipod… stuff like that.” Nina said.

“Okay. Would you give me a hand and help me put everything in my bags?”

We spent probably around two hours packing. I was struggling to fit all of my shoes into a particularly large duffle bag when my phone vibrated. I picked it up and immediately jerked it away from my ear.

“HELLO? HI! LAUREL!? HEY!” several voices yelled into the phone.

“Hello?” I asked.

“Laurel? Shut up Louis! I can’t hear!” Liam yelled into the phone.

“Liam, hey!” I shouted.

“Niall said – at two ‘o clock in the morning by the way – that you’re coming with us on tour.” Liam said.

“Yeah I am.” I replied.

“YAY!” Once again I drew my phone away from my ear.

“Well at least I think I am. I told my parents this morning and my dad said maybe. I think my mom wants me to go though.”

“So you’re pretty sure you’re coming?” a voice deep voice that was unmistakably Luke’s asked.

“Yeah. I’m packing right now. I-“ I began.

“Michael! Get that off of your head!” Ashton yelled.

“Okay. Well, we’ll meet you and the other girls at the airport around 9:30 the morning after next.” Harry shouted.

“Sounds good.” I said.

“If you need any help packing, just let us know!” Niall yelled, trying to be heard above Calum and Louis arguing about something.

“I will.”

“Oh, and tell Heather I love her!” Louis said.

“Got it!” I said.

“Okay we’ll let you go.” Zayn stated.

“See you soon.”

“BYE! WE’LL MISS YOU! GOODBYE! LOVE YOU! ADIOS! SEE YA!” They all yelled before they hung up.

I put my phone down and saw that all of the other girls were looking at me expectantly.

“Well, who was that?” Sarah asked.

“Guess,” I said smiling and continued packing.
