Stole My Heart

We still had four hours of work left so the boys basically did whatever they wanted. At first they all volunteered to help us with whatever we needed, but eventually gave up one by one. Liam and Niall helped the most. Harry and Louis basically just pretended to help but no one minded. We were just happy that they were back.

After we had done everything that needed doing we sat on the counter and watched Louis chase Harry around with a pair of drumsticks, which happened to be quite amusing. At first we tried to get them to stop but realizing that they weren't listening, gave up and just decided to watch.

Liam was helping me take boxes to the store room when we heard the bell on the door ring. I heard a shriek that nearly caused me to drop the box I was carrying. I shoved it at Liam and ran out front to see what was the matter.

Luke's P.O.V.

We walked through the doors of the music store and immediately heard a high-pitched shriek escape from someone's mouth, soon followed by the sound of footsteps. I saw Sarah standing there with her mouth wide open and assumed that she was the one that had screamed. She looked like she wanted to run over to Ashton and hug him to death but was holding herself back. Ashton however, instantly dropped the bag that he was holding and rushed over to hug her. She looked stunned, as if she didn't expect him to be this thrilled to see her. I knew how much he had missed her. Heather came over and hugged me before going over to Calum and Michael.

We heard the footsteps grow louder and Laurel came running out of nowhere. She was out of breath and her hair was falling over her face but she was still the most beautiful person I've ever seen.


"Is everything okay? Is anyone hurt?" she asked panicked.


Liam came following behind her but I really didn't notice him for more than a second before I ran to her. Her eyes met mine and a smile spread across her face and I, once again, felt my heart leap at the sight. She seemed completely shocked to see me and looked at me like I was some sort of a dream. I held her in my arms for a little before she pulled back and smiled.

"How have you been?" Laurel asked, concern in her eyes.

"Better now that I'm back with all of you." I said looking around. "And you?"

"I've been better." she replied shrugging.

"You look tired," I observed concerned.

"I've been up late. I've missed you," she said as she stared into my eyes but quickly looked away at Niall before answering, "All of you."

I kissed her cheek and looked into her eyes. "I've missed you a lot too." I responded, remembering all those days that I spent staring out the window thinking about her eyes and her smile.
