Stole My Heart

Laurel's P.O.V.

"Laurel... Laurel wake up. Laurel" a voice said gently.

I felt someone nudge me and I opened my eyes. Niall was staring down at me and squeezing my hand. Then, I realized that my head was resting on his shoulder and quickly sat up.

"I'm really sorry about that." I said sleepily. "Really sorry."

"It's fine. You did look pretty tired." Niall said shrugging and grinning slightly. "I didn't mind at all."

I sighed relieved and looked out the window. We were turning onto my street now. Heather had her head leaned against Louis's chest, his arm still around her.

We pulled into my driveway and got out of the car. The boys silently walked us to the door. Heather looked half asleep. She was leaning on Louis as she made her way up the steps. Louis looked down at her with such a gentle look that I started to smile.

"Thank you so much." I said turning to face the guys. "We seriously can't thank you enough."

"Any time." Harry replied.

The other girls said thank you while I rang the doorbell. I heard little feet running to the door and heard it unlock. Kelly, my younger sister, stood there with a look of happiness and confusion.

"You're...you're...you're...One Direction!" she exclaimed, her smile growing bigger. "I didn't know that's where you were!" she complained. "Momma just said you were out with your friends!"

"It's nice to see you too Kelly." I said under my breath.

I heard people running and out come Jordan and Sean. Jordan stops right there and says, "Hi Laurel." It sounded more like wawal, but still.

"Is that One Direction?" Sean asked disbelievingly.

I just nodded. Max walked in hearing all the commotion, stopped, shook his head and said, "Oh boy, not you guys." and then walked upstairs.

"How many of them are there?" Zayn asked me.

"Five if you don't count me." I replied.

My dad came out and I could tell he wasn't happy. The smile on his face didn't seem genuine and rather forced.

"How are you boys doing tonight?" he asked like he was having a perfectly normal conversation with friends.

"Pretty good sir, and you?" Liam replied shaking his hand.

"I'm doing all right. I hope you took good care of my daughter." he said eyeing Niall standing very close to me.

"Yes they did Dad." I said a bit agitated.

My dad didn't look convinced but nodded.

"You can come in if you want." my mom said appearing out of nowhere.

The boys said thanks and did just that.

"Great!" I said sarcastically under my breath, "they get to meet my family."
