Hanging By A Moment

Harry's POV:
'The number that you have dialled is currently unavailable. Please leave message after the beep' her phone went to voicemail, again.




'Sammie. Can we please talk about it?' I spoke wearily. 'I need you to come back home, I still love- BEEP' I was interrupted. 'Message bank is full' voicemail informed me. I tapped end call and dropped my phone on the bed.

Someone knocked on the door and I didn't respond. But still they invited themself in. 'Morning Haz' Niall said in a cheerful voice as he entered with the other lads behind him. I sat up on the bed as it looked like they weren't going to leave till I spoke to them.'You guys don't have to keep staying here. Your girlfriends are probably longing for you to be home' I told them as they sat around the bed.

'Harry, we called up to cancel all the wedding arrangements' Liam told me with a low voice. 'Oh, thanks. I was gonna try meet up with Jenn this afternoon to do that' I replied bluntly. 'We called her up already' Niall spoke softly. 'Oh okay' I replied bluntly.

'But Sammie had already done so' Louis informed me. 'Huh?' I creased my eyebrow. 'She called up Jenn couple of days ago and cancelled everything before she left' Zayn explained. 'Jenn said everythings taken cared of, we just need to inform the guest about the cancellation' Zayn continued. 'But don't worry Haz, we got a copy of the guest list and will call them up' Niall assured me. 'Thanks lads' I forced a smile out.

'Harry!' I heard a voice outside of the room. 'We called Jack as well' Louis told me as he entered the room. 'I'm sorry but you have to watch this' he went to turn the TV on. He took the remote of the table and flicked through the channels till he found the one he wanted.

'Jack, the press is the least of my worries right now' I uttered as the media found out that the wedding was off. 'Harry, Sammie's at LA' he pointed at the TV. 'What' I mumbled. A video came on the screen of paparazzi surrounding Sammie and her family and Anna arriving at LAX.

'You need to release a statement, the press are hounding me' Jack told me. 'Has Sammie's management said anything' I asked. 'No' he replied. 'Then I'm not either' I laid back down and pulled the duvet over my head. 'Harry, people are going to keep asking' Jack insisted. 'Let them, it's not like I'm gonna give them an answer' I replied from under my duvet. 'Soon enough they're going to find about the pregnancy, it's not like Sammie can hide it' he told me.

Later in the afternoon I went for a drive to try and get away from the boys 'over concerns'. As I continued to embark at an unknown destination, my hands steered the wheel at a place I knew I was destined for.

I pulled up the driveway and rang the doorbell.

'Zayn Malik, about time you decide to come ho-' I heard Perrie's voice as she opened the door. 'Oh, Harry' she uttered in a surprise tone. 'Zayn's not here, isn't he at your house?' she asked. 'Actually I came to see you' I flashed a small smile to let her know that my intentions are good. 'Oh okay, come in' she motioned her hands inside the house and I entered.She led me in the lounge room and we sat at opposite couch.

'I wanted to apologise...about the other day' I bowed my head down, disgusted by my behaviour. 'I shouldn't have yelled at you. I know you were just trying to look out for her' I look up to meet her gaze.

'Harry, it's okay' she smiled. 'I know you were under a lot of pressure. I would be as well if I found out I was about to raise a kid at 21' she said.

'I miss her' I said. 'We all do' she smiled again.
