Hanging By A Moment

Harry's POV:
Sunlight peered in through the blinds like an uninvited visitor. All night I slept on my side of the bed like I still shared the bed with her. But when I turned to her side, it was cold, empty, untouched, neat. I reached for my phone on the bedside table and unlocked it.

'The number that you have dialled is not in service, please try-' I sighed at the repetitive respond.

I sat up on the bed when I smelt the aroma of cooked waffles. I got out of bed and walked downstairs. On the dining table was a plate with two freshly cooked waffles covered with chocolate topping, with strawberries and bananas on the side and a scoop of vanilla ice cream, exactly how Sammie prepared it.I smiled at the meal when I realised that she'd come back.

'Hey' someone called out and I turned around. 'You guys stayed the night?' I asked the boys. 'Yeah man, were not leaving' Zayn smiled. 'Your problem is our problem. We're brothers' Liam advanced towards me and gave me a pat on the back. 'Did you guys do this?' I pointed at the food. 'We tried to do it how Sammie does it but we think it's not quiet the same' Louis spoke. 'No, no. It's perfect. It exactly how she does it' I replied looking back at the food. 'Is she back?' I asked softly with my back turned to them. 'No' they mumbled.

'Thanks for the breakfast guys but I'm not really hungry' I turned around to face them. 'Oh that's okay, I'll eat it then' Niall volunteered and Louis nudged him in the stomach. 'Harry, you gotta eat something, you haven't eaten since we got home yesterday' Liam spoke to me. 'I'm okay' I muttered and walked up to the bedroom.

Zayn's POV:
'I told you the breakfast was a bad idea' Louis spoke when Harry left. 'Well he has to eat something' Liam replied. 'But it just reminded him of Sammie!' Louis pointed out. 'But he wants to remember her, he misses her' Niall spoke. 'I dunno guys' Louis pulled a chair out to sit down.

'Lads, how about the wedding?' I spoke. 'There is no wedding Zayn' Louis replied. 'I know, that's the thing but who's gonna make all the cancellation and tell the guest there's no wedding' I explained. 'And not to mention the press as well' Louis sighed. 'Wedding is in two days' Liam reminded us.

'So no one really knows where Sammie is?' Niall asked. 'No' we all chorused. 'I tried calling her but her mobile is switched off or not in service' I replied. 'What are we gonna do about the wedding?' Louis diverged the conversation back to the topic. 'I think we need to help Harry out' Liam spoke. 'We should make the calls and cancel everything; reception, church, photographer' Liam pointed out. 'But Haz and Sammie planned a huge wedding, it's gonna take ages to cancel everything before Saturday' Niall said. 'There's four of us, will get it done' Liam assured him. 'We should call the wedding planner Jenn, I'm sure she would know most of the details about the wedding' I told them. 'Good idea' Louis said.'Alright, I'll call Jenn. Liam call Jack tell him what happened and Niall try get through to Sammie or Anna' I delegated duties. 'Wait, who's gonna call Harry's Mum?' Louis asked.

'You' we all chorused. 'What no way! I don't wanna be responsible for giving Anne a heart attack by telling her that her daughter in law is pregnant and she took off and that there's no wedding happening in two days' Louis uttered. 'Alright, would you rather call up every one of Harry's family member who were all so excited to see him get married only to tell them that there's no wedding happening because Sammie is pregnant and she took off because they couldn't agree on the pregnancy or call his Mum and tell her instead and she'll tell the family' I gave him an option.

'Option two it is' he smiled and took out his mobile.
